Kinda makes you wish George Washington HAD been more "power-hungry!" Maybe if "King" Paul Emery Washington was in the White House right now instead of the current head of state, we wouldn't be in the mess we're in!!!!!!!!

there is only one race and thats humanity. there are just different skin tones and cultures. no one "race" contributed more than any other

It amazes me how this simple article incited so many racial comments, and "superior" race comments. The only "superior" that exits is God who created all of us equally no matter the color he decided to paint us with. There is no such thing as a "superior" race. How ignorant and sad of those who still think that way.

all of you people are dumbasses. There is only one race and that's human. there are just different skin tones and color. No "race" invented more *** than another

It is an interesting article on What-If irregardless of the butterfly effect, and how did this devolve into a commentry on rascism?

    • Posted By: CascaL. @ 10/08/2008 10:37:39 PM

need to pay more attention to what the comment box says, sorry for the double poat.

    • Posted By: mominnm @ 10/08/2008 10:37:17 PM

Because you get a few oversensitive, bad apples who always bring anything back around to race. We've come a long way, haven't we!

  • Posted By: CascaL. @ 10/08/2008 10:36:45 PM

It is an Interesting exercise into alternate history, irrigardless of the butterfly effect. How did this devolve into a discussion on racism anyway?

  • Posted By: mominnm @ 10/08/2008 10:29:58 PM

And for ALL you haters out there, regardless what or whom you are hating, why don't we just leave it at the fact that ALL races have contributed very important things to the world. And regardless of their backgrounds, all people can benefit from these multi-racial and multi-cultural contributions.

    • Posted By: Gravygrabber @ 10/08/2008 10:35:41 PM

mominnm I hope you don't think I'm "hating" on another race. I never said that. Some people seem to think if a white person says another race is inferior (even if it's true) that they hate them. Nothing is further from the truth. I think it's sad their culture is gone actually but I'm not going to hate my race for coming here and creating what we have today.
I would agree with what you are saying if the morons would stop denying the white race of it's true history and acomplishments to the world.

Even as an exercise in frivolity, the whole notion of an American king or royalty leaves me feeling nauseous.

I don't thank the "White" man for giving me "freedoms". LOL. You are *** egotisitical idiot. Try telling that to the Native Americans who basically had their entire way of life destroyed and now find themselves living in under-managed reservation camps. Try telling that to all Americans where they are trapped in an economic crisis that stems from a fraudulent Private Reserve System owned and controlled by White men.....

He's pissed. I would be too if I wasn't white. The truth hurts so bad! ;)

  • Posted By: Gravygrabber @ 10/08/2008 10:29:31 PM

I find it interesting if you're of the white race and you make points about reality someone calls you a racist without even a hesitation. I guess ignoring what the white race has done for the world isn't racist at all? Sorry but the facts aren't going to change because you ignore them.

  • Posted By: ReligionIsForNoobs @ 10/08/2008 9:42:01 PM

Isn't it sad that the United States claims to be the "beacon of freedom" and "land of the free" and most people have bought into it....when in fact it has been founded on genocide, rape, enslavement, colonialism, imperialism, and conquest of the Native Americans...the people who were one of the first victims of this egotistical European idea of "Manifest Destiny" and "God's Chosen".

    • Posted By: ReligionIsForNoobs @ 10/08/2008 9:45:50 PM

Founding Fathers? How about Racist Egotistical Thieving Murderers who had way too much power and influence on their hands?

      • Posted By: malene @ 10/08/2008 10:26:23 PM

you are truly an idiot religionisfornoobs

      • Posted By: SemperRick @ 10/08/2008 10:09:25 PM

Yeah of course I like this way much better...Duh.

    • Posted By: SemperRick @ 10/08/2008 9:58:01 PM

And thankfully stormtroopers are not kicking in your door slaughtering your family, kidnapping you to torture you probably just for funand more than likely kill you for just speaking ill of the government. Isn't it nice to live in the "beacon of freedom"?

  • Posted By: Gravygrabber @ 10/08/2008 10:25:40 PM

I just looked one more time and still no indians.....I just remembered I need to make dinner tonight so I'll stop by the store on the way home. I won't have to hunt my food like an indian and I don't have to walk to plains or anything I drive my automobile (a white german invented this) home.

  • Posted By: ReligionIsForNoobs @ 10/08/2008 9:23:40 PM

The U.S. is a disguised monarchy anyways, with most of its past and present presidents, and candidates, politicians, media elite, and central bankers being somehow related to each other and being a descendant of royal blood. Palin is related to Princess Di and Roosevelt, Bush, Kerry, and Hugh Hefner are related to Prince Charles and Tony Blair, Obama related to Brad Pitt who is related to Cheney who is a distant cousin of Bush. Bill Clinton is related to the royal family as well...and the list goes on.

It's time people wake up to this American facade of "freedom" and its royalty-owned federal reserve system.

  • Posted By: sp3000 @ 10/08/2008 10:20:08 PM

WOW graveygrabber@that was as racist and small minded as it gets

    • Posted By: Gravygrabber @ 10/08/2008 10:22:37 PM

Really cause I'm looking out at the window and I see no indians or tepees. Is your reality different where you live?

I don't understand how such a benign article about what would be if we became a monachy instead of a "democracy". It's kind of cool to see that they can (sort of) trace George Washington's lineage. And the article really had nothing to do with this current elections so how people turned it into a rant against Obama or how "our race is better" (regardless of which race anyone might be referring to) Sheesh, can't we just enjoy a tiny frivolous bit of fluff in these dark times? And remember, everyone here was interested enough to click on the article in the first place, bringing us all here to comment.
