    Obama's view of the future of America - Socialism which is the next step to Communism!!


    Under socialism a ruling class of intellectuals, bureaucrats and social planners decide what people want or what is good for society and then use the coercive power of the State to regulate, tax, and redistribute the wealth of those who work for a living. In other words, socialism is a form of legalized theft.

    The morality of socialism can be summed-up in two words: envy and self-sacrifice. Envy is the desire to not only possess another's wealth but also the desire to see another's wealth lowered to the level of one's own. Socialism's teaching on self-sacrifice was nicely summarized by two of its greatest defenders, Hermann Goering and Bennito Mussolini. The highest principle of Nazism (National Socialism), said Goering, is: "Common good comes before private good." Fascism, said
    Mussolini, is "a life in which the individual, through the sacrifice of his own private interests??realizes that completely spiritual existence in which his value as a man lies."

    Socialism is the social system which institutionalizes envy and self-sacrifice: It is the social system which uses compulsion and the organized violence of the State to expropriate wealth from the producer class for its redistribution to the parasitical class.

    Despite the intellectuals' psychotic hatred of capitalism, it is the only moral and just social system.

    Capitalism is the only moral system because it requires human beings to deal with one another as traders--that is, as free moral agents trading and selling goods and services on the basis of mutual consent.

    Capitalism is the only just system because the sole criterion that determines the value of thing exchanged is the free, voluntary, universal judgement of the consumer. Coercion and fraud are anathema to the free-market system.

    It is both moral and just because the degree to which man rises or falls in society is determined by the degree to which he uses his mind. Capitalism is the only social system that rewards merit, ability and achievement, regardless of one's birth or station in life.

    Yes, there are winners and losers in capitalism. The winners are those who are honest, industrious, thoughtful, prudent, frugal, responsible, disciplined, and efficient. The losers are those who are shiftless, lazy, imprudent, extravagant, negligent, impractical, and inefficient.     Capitalism is the only social system that rewards virtue and punishes vice. This applies to both the business executive and the carpenter, the lawyer and the factory worker.

      It is important to define "Capitalism" correctly because a proper definition is a prerequisite to a proper defense. Capitalism is the only moral political system because it is the only system dedicated to the protection of rights, which is a requirement for human survival and flourishing. This is the only proper role of a government. Capitalism should be defended vigorously on a moral basis, not an economic or utilitarian basis. People often use the term "Capitalism" loosely, "Laissez Faire Capitalism", as you have described is not true Capitalist system. "Laissez Faire Capitalism" is now redundant. I gather you do not agree with the Constitution of the United States. How sad.

    So, in the exchange with "Joe the plumber" we find out that Obama really is as radical as his early political acquaintances, and is into the failed economic policy of wealth redistribution. Yahoo, back to the 70's we go! So now we know that an Obama presidency really would be as if it were Carter's lost second term after all.

    my Bible says nothing about a "man of muslim decent" being the "anti-christ" it gives NO definite time in regards to when the world will end: what it does say is that NO man knows the day nor hour, it also mentions in very clear terms a curse to ANYONE adding to, or taking away from what is written in the bible.... you might want to consider that next time you feel like spouting off some "biblical truths"

    I have never been witness to anything this scary, venomous, dangerous, distasteful, and unAmerican in my life! What is happening in this country? It seems you can go to a McCain or Palin rally anymore and just hear the good ole American stump speech. Instead we witness vitriol and hate, followed by cries of hatemongering andbloodthirst. It appears that you can disagree with a Republican without mortal threats coming out of the mouths from the crowd with something similar to the mob mentality of the old South, the anti-Vietnam protests, the post Rodney King trial, etc, etc, and etc. The list is far too long, regrettable and distasteful. When and how do we get to the better days we should be striving for; how do we get past our embarassing historical past? About 40 to fifty years ago we lost 3 very impressive men with all of the potential we were hoping for. Unfortunately their lives were tragically cut short and their potential never realized. Just think how our world could have been different if Jack & Bobby Kennedy and Martin Luther King had not been shot and killed in their prime!!!!!!!!! And now the extreme right wing is wanting to relive this horror and is screaming for it!! I'm not saying that Barack is the equivalent of these wonderful gentlemen, but do any of us really know that he is NOT?
    All I am asking for is that each and every person who screams these hate-filled words or anyone who agrees with them think, really THINK, if this is the kind of world we want to live in. Doesn't EVERY PERSON have the right fo realize their potential (not ONLY the people we agree with but also the ones we don't)?
    Every voter has the inalienable right to pick the candidate of their choice and not have to worry about the winner's safety. I DO NOT, ever again, to see a Vice President being sworn in on a plain rushing to Washington DC like we did in 1963. That's a scar that we ALL have had to endure.
    Please, PLEASE lets tone down the hatred and threats for the next 20 days. We are s'posed to have a choice in this election and not feel guilty about it or worry about what might happen to the winner.
    HE WHO IS WITHOUT SIN (McCain and Palin have some questionable people in their past too, ya' know) CAST THE FIRST SIN. It is painful to read some of the offerings on this blog, let's see in maybe some could be a little more RESPECTFUL of the other one, WHICHEVER one it is!!!!!!!

    I also want to say how disappointed I am that the Republican candidates, as any leader should, tell these people who want to spread this hate that there is no place in this election for any of this kind of behavior. That exhibitions of this offensive and vile nature are not in accordance with or welcome at their rallys.

    How long is the beast allowed to have authority in Revelations?

    Revelations 13:5 tells us it is 42 months, and you know what that is;
    almost a four-year term of a Presidency.

    All I can say is "Lord, Have mercy on us!"

    According to The Book of Revelations the anti-Christ is: The anti-Christ will
    be a man, in his 40's, of MUSLIM descent, who will deceive the nations with
    persuasive language, and have a MASSIVE Christ-like appeal...the prophecy says
    that people will flock to him and he will promise false hope and world peace,
    and when he is in power, will destroy everything...

    Do we recognize this description??

    Since most predictions are that the world as we know it will end in the year 2012,
    this sounds reasonable! Of course the numbers of true Christians are dwindling
    fast. It is becoming a sad nation. Our forefathers founded this country on
    Christian principles, but even that is being denied by many. Without the core
    beliefs that our country was founded on, this nation is doomed. Obama, coming onto
    the scene, has brought more hate and anger into this country like I have never seen in
    all my life. His core principles are so far left that it is enough to scare any
    intelligent, mature American. Our forefathers would turn over in their graves if they
    could see that most Americans are ready for Socialism or just too ignorant to understand
    what is happening. I guess I am just from the old school like John McCain, I still
    believe in God, freedom, equality, personal responsibility, capitalism, low taxes, and
    small government. For the last 30 or so years our government has squandered away our
    tax money and forced most of us to live in poverty or close to it. They treated our
    tax money as though it was theirs and like they earned it, and unlike most Americans,
    they did not live within their budget. Emergencies do arise, but any smart American
    knows that you have to be ready for those, so you try to have savings or you borrow the
    money with the intent of paying it back immediately. If Americans have learned anything,
    it is that the government can run nothing and messes up everything they put their hands on.
    Now, Americans seem ready to turn our country over to a big spender and a taxing fool.
    I WANT MY COUNTRY BACK!!!!

    Angry convervative posters: Do me, yourself and the GOP Party a favor: Put just half the effort that you put into bashing Obama and the Democrats into praising the real values of the Republican Party and it's ticket if you want to get McCain elected. All of this peurile and acrimonious name calling and outright antagonization is not helping our cause, makes the conservative base look childish, unintelligent, frightened and self serving. It turns off Independent voters and so basically serves the Dem's interests. I'm sure you are venting, but it's NOT helping us.

    I have always believed that birds of a feather will always flock together and if you CANNOT trust one of them, you can't trust any of them.

    We all select our friends and associates by their character. If we do not agree with their character and how they lead their lives, then we will NOT accept them as our friends. I, personally, would never associate with anyone that was involved in any kind of criminal activities or racial activities, or involved in any kind of demonstrations against the country which I love with all my heart. I have too much self respect and pride to associate with these types of lowlife trash.

    But, for some reason, we CANNOT and will NOT hold our President to these same standards and good judgement. It seems that a president who has 'no sex' with a young intern in our Oval Ofiice is beyond scrutiny and is still considered to be a GREAT president. It doesn't matter that his actions destroyed the view of the office of the presidency in the eyes of our friends around the world and destroyed the morals of all of our young people. The character of a president is just not important to the American people any longer.

    Promises of 'hope and change' and empty rhetoric has replaced the need of a presidential candidate to have good judgemnet and good character. As long as they are shrewd enough to 'look presidential' and said what the POOR STUPID Americans want to hear, that is all that is important. The American people no longer need evidence, REAL evidence, that a candidate is capable of fulfilling his promises and is capable of protecting and serving the people. Talk is cheap, but the right talk has proven to be all that is required by the American people. Judgement, character, and experience is no longer required.

    I have always believed that birds of a feather will always flock together and if you CANNOT trust one of them, you can't trust any of them. The American voter is willing to accept Obama at face value, without thoroughly researching his background. I would like to know how many Americans are willing to send our young men and women into combat overseas to fight terrorists, and, at the same time, are willing to accept a president who has been friends with domestic terrorists for years, and a president who is supported by Hamas and many, many other radical groups and leaders from around the world.

    Just keep in mind that Obama would never be accepted in the FBI or CIA, but the American voters would elect him as their president and Commander-in-chief of their brave military men and women!!!! May God bless and have mercy on the souls of all the misguided voters!!!!

    Obama explains his objection to our National Anthem and Flag!!

    Hot on the heels of his explanation for why he no longer wears a flag pin, presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama was forced to explain why he doesn't follow protocol when the National Anthem is played.

    According to the United States Code, Title 36, Chapter 10, Sec. 171, During rendition of the national anthem when the flag is displayed, all present except those in uniform are expected to stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart.

    "As I've said about the flag pin, I don't want to be perceived as taking sides,' Obama said. 'There are a lot of people in the world to whom the American flag is a symbol of oppression. And the Anthem itself conveys a war-like message. You know, the bombs bursting in air and all. It should be swapped for something less parochial and less bellicose. I like the song 'I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing.' If that were our anthem, then I might salute it.'

    WHAAAAAAAT!!!!!!!!!! Yes, ladies and gentlemen, this could possibly be our next president. I, for once, am speechless.

    He better take sides..........if he is not on the side of AMERICA he MUST NOT EVEN BE CONSIDERED for the office he is seeking. We do not need a man in office that will not salute the flag. The world knows how to sing, what they need to know is that the USA will defend what that flag stands for.

    Obama, the one you can trust! The American people are like leeches on the government. They can no longer think for themselves. They can no longer take care of themselves. They need to be bottle fed and have their diapers changed. Obama is their savior, their Messiah. They can no longer fight for their freedoms. They must succumb to the beautiful words of promise and hope from Obama. He will make their lives great and trouble free. He will make us one world with no bounderies. Everyone will be equal. There will never be rich people or poor people again. We will all be middle class. That is where the world is headed and we will be the first to get there. All medical help and medicine will be socialized. The government will lead the people down the rosey path to hell. The people will serve the mighty leader, Obama. He controls all human activities and tells us were and when to go. He will tell us what to drive and when to drive. He will tell us where to set our thermostats in our houses. He will tell us the kind of food we must eat. He will create the perfect society, the perfect human race. We will never want again. He will provide everything we need. If we are without, he will make the neighbors share with us. He will insure that everyone will have something to eat and something to wear. He will be the guiding light to our future. We will all be happy and full of joy because Obama says we are. He will control our attitudes and provide us with hope that he will always make things better for us. Life could not be easier or better. He will look out for us. Put your full trust in him and he will deliver. He is the almighty, the Messiah, and the keeper of the people. We will get on out knees and worship him and the ground he walks on. We will never want anything again because he will make everything readily available to us. He has the answer to all our problems and our shortcomings. He will forgive us for our misdeeds and make us whole again. May our new God have mercy on our souls and bless our new kingdom; Obamanation! Always remember that you will have the Quran to fall back on, to read, and to enjoy! Always keep it near you and always look into the eyes of Obama in the pictures that will be provided to you. The pictures will always remind you who your savior is and to whom you will owe your great life. Teach your children and grandchildren to worship the man in the picure and they will always remain wholesome and happy! He will always show them the path to follow to become a great person like him! They must idolize him if they expect to be blessed. And, be sure to pat yourself on the back for choosing the Messiah and giving your children and grandchildren the security and wellness the Messiah has to offer. Always keep your Quran and his picture next to your bed and close to your heart and you will be happy forever! Brothers and sisters, I love you, and we will be together as one forever and ever!

    I'm totally shocked that Newsweek hasn't done an in-depth story on Obama's association with William Ayers. BTW - I take that to mean it's true, becasue by now they would be doing everything to discredit it.

      Wendy, please post credible links to your claims. Palin is not or ever has been a member of the AIP. Once again, please post a credible link. And don't go there with Palin's religion... Here's a quote from Obama on ABC with George Stephanopolus: "Let's not play games, what I was suggesting - you're absolutely right that John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith. And you're absolutely right that that has not come." Steponopolus had to correct him to: "you mean.... your Christian faith?"

      My Muslim faith? Opppssss.... BTW, I don't put much into the biased panel that found Palin abused her power.

    There is a simple reason why McCain doesn't connect Barack with Ayers. It's because McCain is connected also. McCain is willing to let Palin smear but he prays no one will point the finger back to him as they did for Fannie and Freddie.

    Obama and Ayers met while working together on the Annenberg Challenge , an initiative funded by the Annenberg Institute for School Reform, which was funded by the Annenberg Foundation, which was created by Walter H. Annenberg.

    If Obama deserves condemnation for working with Ayers in Chicago, then certainly Annenberg--the Philadelphia communications magnate, former ambassador to Great Britain, Republican stalwart, and recipient (via Ronald Reagan) of the Presidential Medal of Freedom--should have been criticized for using Ayers to advance his educational vision. But I can't find a single example of a conservative making such a complaint.

    The Ayers attack is meant to discredit Barack's character and judgment, but personal attacks typically don't decide elections. Palin is just the outsider told to attack, so she attacks without the facts.. Nice try anyway.

              Socialism my foot! You guys are out of lies to tell. You want socialism? Why did McCain, Mr. Free-Market himself sign the bail-out package? Why did the bill pass only when most republicans in the House were guaranteed an extra 150 BILLION in pork? If you think that's not socialism, more power to you.

              Oversight is not socialism, oversight is having someone capable actually doing their job so we don't have to bail out an industry and pay for a $400,000 one-week vacation for their CEOs. And tell me this, what has been more expensive; the badly managed social programs during the '70s and '80s or this bail-out and deficit under Republican control?

      What is this... six degress of Kevin Bacon? Barack Obama has held fund raisers in this Ayers home. McCain happened to meet with him once when he was at a meeting being held by someone else and you want to say that the two of them are linked? Thats just like the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac BS. Obama was the third highest paid politician on their payroll $144,000. The study was done over the last 10 years. Obama was only there for three of them... imagine how much money and what place he'd be in on the list if he had been there for the other seven.

    anyone who is even still thinking of voting for McCain/Palin should look in the mirror and say to themselves "do I really want a President who picked a VP who clearly, clearly is not even close to being ready for National office, specifically the next in line to the Presidency?" The world laughs at our voting for George Bush, not once, but twice. They will really think we're stupid if McCain/Palin get in!

    The question is why didn't B. ACORN Obama knock McCain out of the race? Where was his knock out blow? This is just some of the spin that hits hours after an election debate to try to shape opinion. Obama did NOT have a good night!
    McCain always wins from behind. And B. ACORN Obama will have more questions needing answered by the time the next debate comes around.

      McCain is out of touch, unrealistic, and looked very foolish during the debate. I feel that Obama is very presidential and I am proud to say that I am a life long republican that is sick and tired of what our party has become. I will vote for Obama on election day.

        Obama needed to stay above the fray, McCain was trying to get something going as he has in his dispicable actions of recent days that have brought the Secret Service into to investigate people in attendance screaming "kill Him" in reference to Obama. Obama appearing presidential wont stoop to that level and would not be engaged to do so last night. Independent for Obama/Biden

        This was not a boxing ring, this was a town hall style debate. We were suppose to learn more about the candidates governing style not how good they give and take jabs. Obviously Obama realized this, McCain ,with all his pent up anger, did not. McCain is just too scary for me. Almost as scary as his evil little running mate.
