McCain is a Joke ...A Easy Win for Obama and Biden

Obama is already at [464] Electoral Votes, all Obama needs is to hit [470] an all you McCain Low Lifes, can finally call it a Year and Go Home.

When the media did everything from get yet another Democratic supporter like Tom Brokaw to "hand pick the questions from the audience of "undecieded voters" in phony townhall style setting of course Obama was going to look competent. That's the only way he could.

Everyone knows or should know that McCain has not only been doing townhalls all over the country this whole time even when Obama refused to do any when invited by McCain "several times" the media had to move "heaven and earth" to make sure that this debate was fool proof. And Obama was the Fool!

The only feed back I got out of this last debate was that Obama is going to tax us to death like his poor constituents in IL with high sales and gas taxes. And when he raises capital gains on companies everyone will be on Welfare because all of the compaines will leave US and leave us with even fewer jobs.

He wants everyone to be poor. That way we will all be "the same" and the liberal media is none to happy to help. And stop thinking about how this is going to hurt the rich. The rich are already covering their hides. The second it gets too hot....Their Gone! And I mean out of the Country gone. And dont think you can move out of the country either because the rest of the world hates us more than any Republican could.

But no worries b/c Obama will lose b/c all across this country states are relizing what ACORN under the Obama campaign is doing (10 states and counting investigating them for voter fraud) and Obama will not only ruin his life but also drag down the entire Democratic party. This is going to bad.

Finall good news! You cant stop the truth!

because of msnbc bias, msn is no longer my automatic browser. i don't even visit that site any more. I am so sick of the media bias reporting. They are trying to manipulate the outcome of the presidential race that should be decided by equal, fair, two sided unbias reporting. They are robbing the American people of one of our highest, precious right, the ability to select a candidate that is the best for the country. That is so wrong. Lord, there is so much corruption in our country. How do we survive this mess?

      • Posted By: bherath @ 10/08/2008 7:28:26 PM

i watched cnn too - but sure didn't see any "muting" of McCaine. i saw McCaine muting himself. I was honestly expecting him to give details of his plans for this great country - not some stealth plan that he's keeping under wrap until he's elected. And now he has Palin and his wife doing his dirty work of questioning background of Obama? What seriously happened to the gentleman that ran against Bush and I so wanted to win the Republican nomination so I could vote for him?!

    • Posted By: neda @ 10/08/2008 7:27:21 PM

Might it cross your mind that mccain may have said something of substance and to manipulate YOUR view and YOUR opinion, cnn just didn't play it. It doesn't bother you that cnnmay be controlling your views and opinions. Yikes!!!

  • Posted By: orion12 @ 10/08/2008 6:37:52 PM

I am amazed at McCains behavior.

He was very discourteous towards Obama during the debate. I just could not believe that he is such a childish man. I have read many things about his temperament; insulting people, including his wife but always decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. His attitude towards Obama should be sanctioned.

Calling Obama ???that one??? and telling commenting about Obama learning on the job were very condescending comments. I bet he will soon call Obama ???boy??? or ???n***er???. I mean in public because I am sure he say it to himself. McCain just does not believe that Obama has the right to be doing so well.

Obama should be commended for his cool. He will win this election because of the increasing respect that he commands. McCain is just a street fighter.

You McInsaniacs are making me sick. First, let's face it the fact that you guys have buyers remorse....too late and too bad. I don't even have an idea how you people can sleep at night. There is no real patriotic bone in your party. The republicans have run this damn country in the ground and we owe our ass to the Chinese government. Page is turning on you so get over it.....

  • Posted By: Aramis @ 10/08/2008 12:49:53 PM

Wolffe must have been watching a different debate. McCain told the truth and Barack pursed his lips because he knew he didn't have an answer for his own liberal record.

    • Posted By: edjones65 @ 10/08/2008 3:24:09 PM

good point, I saw that too. Heck I really thought he was the one getting mad when he said" but Tom I need to say this" and would sit back down when Tom said we needed to move on to the next question. I suppose we will be the only ones to remember that.

      • Posted By: AskPlus @ 10/08/2008 5:43:59 PM

Probably. It's a shame that only you and he saw Mr. Obama as the confrontational one.

  • Posted By: Aramis @ 10/08/2008 12:50:44 PM

Wolffe must have been watching a different debate. McCain distinguished his record from Obama's and Obama did not have an answer.

    • Posted By: AskPlus @ 10/08/2008 5:42:55 PM

Yeah. He and every one else. Well, except you.

Unless McCain and Palin can find a picture of Obama shaking hands with Osama bin Laden; they will lose this election. Their rants, especially Palin's, about Obama and Mr. Ayers , about Rev. Wright or Rezco or about his middle name are only working with the far right wing of the Republican base. I know several lifelong Republicans who think the personal attacks, the seletion of Palin in the first place, and the erratic response to the economic crisis confirm their suspicions that McCain was the wrong choice to lead the party. The Maverick and his sidekick are not done yet, but they are fading. I hope they keep up the personal attacks while Obama keeps talking about the economy and ways to get it going again.

    • Posted By: Iconoblaster @ 10/08/2008 5:42:22 PM

I'm one of those Republicans. I want my country (and my party) back from the Neocons. There is only one way for that to happen...McCain, and especially Palin, must NOT be elected to the White House.

      Republicans for Obama!

  • Posted By: Lee Holmes @ 10/08/2008 2:20:05 PM

You forgot the third opponant Wolffe.

You people. [who believe that circular firing squads only work for the Fourth Estate. Wollfe and Fineman appear on Olbermanns MSNBC COUNTDOWN. MSNBC crap appears on NEWSWEAK. NEWSWEAKS stuff is over at MSNBC.The AP appears on both [having caught them red-handed in no fewer than three untruths in the last 24 hours is not making their case as an ''impartial''news organization]. Race-baiters Dana Milbank,Harold Meyerson [onetime and current member of the Democratic Socialists of America],and Bob Herbert appear here. Then on MSNBC. Then go back to their rags to inject more made-up ''racist''venom attached to Anyone Who Is Not The Expected One.

All are in the can for Obama.

So. NEWSWEAK ''little red arrows''can point south for McCain. Their in-the-can hacks can direct the election, omitting news unfavourable to the Expected One,lying about it when they do [the APs two articles yesterday shielding Obama from Jim Johnson and Frank Raines of FANNIE were especially putrid],and creating an environment where, even if or when Obama does become president, the trust the American people[those who are not completely gulled anyway],have in the swill you serve up will be as dead as Caesar. In actuality,I become less worried over the presence of a President Barack Obama than I do in seeing this nations ''news''services become versions of Bolshevik pamphleteering .[NEWSWEAK,ever and anon, among these].

Enough with trying to blame the media!! No one made McCain falter last night except himself (and perhaps his advisors). It's not the media's fault that McCain has engaged in nasty negative campaigning when people are looking for hopeful solutions. It's not the media's fault that McCain, who left his ailing wife to marry an heiress, is completely out of touch with OUR economic troubles. It's not the media's fault that McCain is a frightful war mongerer with a temper. Should I go on??

      • Posted By: Lee Holmes @ 10/08/2008 3:50:14 PM

Garbage. The media has been and continues to act in a disgraceful manner that does not serve the people of this nation. It is not so much the news they filter and allow, but that which they ignore entirely.[Bidens baldfaced lies about McCain ''never mentioning the middle class''in the debate last night when he actually made three specific references to this economic group for one instance. Their failure to acknowlage that fmr.FANNIE MAE CEO Jim Johnson is still with the Obama campaign for another]. Acting as a cheerleader of either candidate does not lend them respectability,it lends itself to Yellow Journalism. We look forward to the in-the-can media describing Obamas future adventures in the Sudan as another ''splendid little war''.

        • Posted By: raddave @ 10/08/2008 5:22:49 PM

It is funny when McCain falls flat, you right-wingers try to blame the media for it. McLame in fact did not mention the middle class once during the debate.

          • Posted By: AskPlus @ 10/08/2008 5:39:12 PM

But it's Mr. Holmes, and he lies.

I can't figure out why there are 3.7 million jobs listed in the US, but yet, things are apparently so bad.. Everybody I know and associate with is doing great. I swear. We're having a nice time, enjoying life, making money, buying things, etc. What's wrong with you people who aren't ?? Do you think the president will change something for you? It won't, if you weren't aware. You'll just keep going backwards focusing on the govt for your answer.

    • Posted By: Iconoblaster @ 10/08/2008 5:26:48 PM

It won't be hard to CATCH Osama bin Laden, but it will be a LOT of work to dig up his remains, under thousands of tons of rubble at Tora Bora. He's dead, Jim.

    • Posted By: kshortSD @ 10/08/2008 3:54:02 PM

Seriously. McCain has been in Washington for 26 years. What IS he waiting for? I suppose no one will listen to him because he isn't the president?? Get real. He is getting so desperate he will say anything.

MCPAPPY is clearly out of touch. He referred to a Senator as "that one"? The last time I heard a goof like that was when Ross Perot said "you and your people" to a crowd at the NAACP. McCREEPY has shown very poor judgement the entire campain. Vermont ranks #1 as the smartest state, while ALASKA ranks #46. Palin left Wasilla in debt and legal battle that continues to this day. Palin and her husband belong to an Anti-American group that wants Alaska to pull out of the United States of America, saying that they should not have to live under the rules of our Government? Why is all this important? McGrampy chose Palin after meeting her only Once, not twice and if this is his decision making in such an important isuue as the VP of the USA, then think of where we will be in four years if he is allowed anywhere near the White House.

  • Posted By: AskPlus @ 10/08/2008 5:18:26 PM

I don't know what was worse.
    1) McCain not answering questions like his VP choice.
    2) That one...
    3) Or the 3 million for a projector lie.

    What an awful man.

The townhall debate was disgusting. McCain and Obama both lost BIG TIME. They contradicted each other so many times that nothing made sense. They called each other liars so many times that it's impossible to believe either one of them. They tried to slip in so many stupid zingers that they looked like a couple of clowns who can't take anything seriously while the rest of us are drowning. The USA is going down the toilet and the best we can come up with is an empty headed senator from IL with no experience or plans and a fossil from the last the stone-age that doesn't use a computer. WHERE THE HELL ARE OUR REAL REPRESENTATIVES? After last night, I imagine that any independents or undecideds are more confused than ever.

    Here we go

    S.190
Title: A bill to address the regulation of secondary mortgage market enterprises, and for other purposes.
Sponsor: Sen Hagel, Chuck [NE] (introduced 1/26/2005) Cosponsors (3)
Latest Major Action: 7/28/2005 Senate committee/subcommittee actions. Status: Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs. Ordered to be reported with an amendment in the nature of a substitute favorably.

McCain fooled you, it was not HIS idea and last I checked the Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs was made up a republicans and democrats. To make matters WORSE he came on board AFTER the bill was returned. A man of character all right. When the bill was reintroduced McCain name was not there.

As for Freddie and Fannie, since family's net worth is over $100 Million,,they simply found another way to get in bed with him (ie through Davis' services)

Hero: For 23 combat missions (an estimated 20 hours over enemy territory), the U.S. Navy awarded McCain, a Silver Star, a Legion of Merit for Valor, a Distinguished Flying Cross, three Bronze Stars, two Commendation medals plus two Purple Hearts and a dozen service medals. The question really is how many guys got that number of medals for NOT being shot down. McCain recieved 28 medals, that equals to about a medal-and-a-half for each hour he spent in combat. There were men fighting on the ground, who had more than 7,000 hours in combat that were probably in situations where a prison cell would have looked pretty good to them by comparison. It's good to be an admiral son.

COSPONSORS(3), ALPHABETICAL [followed by Cosponsors withdrawn]: (Sort: by date)
Sen Dole, Elizabeth [NC] - 1/26/2005 Sen McCain, John [AZ] - 5/25/2006
      Sen Sununu, John E. [NH] - 1/26/2005

I forgot to SHOW you when McCain put HIS name on the bill...5/06, so the bill returned in 7/05 never to resurface again until amended, is the SAME bill McCain signs his name to brags about creating..to the public.
