FactCheck.Org is owned by the Annenberg group of Chicago! Talk about a conflict of interest! And Obama has been telling people on the trail to check out the site to verify his opponents claims. Funny, every time that he endorsed something, it turns out to be a part of his spin machine! Like he raised objections in the primaries when Indiana required photo I.D. to vote. He Protested that It took away people's right to vote! I
knew then and there that he was up to no good! America, wake up from the MASS HYPNOSIS!

Baby I'll be there to take your hand,
Baby I'll be there to share the land
That they'll be giving away, when we all live together.

So, in the exchange with "Joe the plumber" we find out that Obama really is as radical as his early political acquaintances, and is into the failed economic policy of wealth redistribution. Yahoo, back to the 70's we go! So now we know that an Obama presidency really would be as if it were Carter's lost second term after all. Guess that means we go back to the fat ties.

BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA HAS NOT ANSWERED IN A CLEAR MANNER RELATING TO HIS ASSOCIATIONS WITH THE LIKES OF TONY REZKO, BILL AYERS, REV WRIGHT, LOUIS FARRAKHAN, PLO ACTIVIST, ACORN , REV PFLEGGER, GEE THIS GUY KEEPS GOOD COMPANY...MUST HAVE GOOD JUDGMENT..LOL.

ANYWAY , SINCE OBAMA IS OK WORKING WITH A DOMESTIC TERRORIST IN BILL AYERS ON THE SAME BOARD BECAUSE HE BELIEVES HE'S "REHABILITATED" THEN OBAMA WOULD BE OK TO WORK WITH ADOLF HITLER ON THE SAME BOARD BECAUSE HE WOULD BELIEVE HE'S "REHABILITATED" TOO !!

BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA....HE KNOWS HOW TO MAKE EXCUSES BETTER THAN A 10 YEAR OLD KID !!

AJC Strongly Condemns Rev. Jesse Jackson's Comment on American Jews
October 14, 2008 - New York - The American Jewish Committee (AJC) has condemned the Rev. Jesse Jackson's statement about 'Zionists who have controlled American policy for decades.'
"Rev. Jackson's remarks, which appeared in an interview with the journalist Amir Taheri in today's New York Post, echo classic anti-Semitic conspiracy theories about Jewish power," said AJC Executive Director David A. Harris. 'This statement, regrettably, is not the first troubling comment by Rev. Jackson regarding Israel, Zionism and the Jewish people.'

Arguing as a private citizen that an Obama administration could bring significant change to U.S. foreign policy, Jackson was quoted as saying that "Zionists who have controlled American policy for decades" would lose much of their influence should Senator Obama be elected president."

And people are upset about raciest comments some in the crowd are allegedly saying at Palin events? Isn???t this the same Democrat leader who once called New York "Hymietown"?

Congressman Jesse L. Jackson, Jr. today released the following statement in reaction to a New York Post article about Reverend Jackson's remarks at the World Policy Forum.

"I know that under a Barack Obama presidency, the United States of America's relationship with Israel will remain rock-solid, strong and unshakable. Barack Obama is committed to maintaining and strengthening the special bond between our two countries, born of our shared values as well as our common interests.

"As the vice-chair of the House Foreign Operations Appropriations Subcommittee, I've traveled to Israel and seen firsthand the threats to its security. I'm eager to work with the new administration and the new Congress to ensure that Israel remains strong, secure and free."

"People who don't want to vote for Obama and are looking for excuses to not vote for him can throw this into the mix. It doesn't change anything," said M.J. Rosenberg, director of policy analysis at the dovish Israel Policy Forum.

        NO QUESTION ABOUT IT.
JACKSON, OBAMA'S PAL, IS MOST DEFINITELT A JEW HATER. OBAMA'S PTHER PAL AND MENTOR, REV WRIGHT HATES JUST ABOUT EVERYONE WHO DOESN'T ATTEND HIS CHURCH, ISN'T "BLACK" OR DOESN'T EMBRACE HIS PERSONAL BRAND OF INSANITY......OBAMA ?? NO THANK YOU. I DON'T REMEMBER SEEING ANY PICS OF HIM WEARING A U.S. MILITARY UNIFORM

"I stand forthrightly for the security and stability of Israel, its protection from any form of hostility and a peaceful, nonviolent resolution to coexisting with its Palestinian neighbors," Jackson said. The statement added that he "has never had a conversation with Sen. Obama about Israel or the Middle East."

"Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull the mote out of thine eye; and behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast the mote out of thy brother's eye."

Here is Rev. Wright the man you have judged incapable of loving any other race..I for one cannot judge a pastor since 1972 based on a youtube clip EVERYONE knows was meant to smear Barack...

I believe that a change is going to come because many of us are committing to changing how we see others who are different.

In the past, we were taught to see others who are different as somehow being deficient. Christians saw Jews as being deficient. Catholics saw Protestants as being deficient. Presbyterians saw Pentecostals as being deficient.

Folks who like to holler in worship saw folk who like to be quiet as deficient. And vice versa.

Whites saw black as being deficient. It was none other than Rudyard Kipling who saw the "White Man's Burden" as a mandate to lift brown, black, yellow people up to the level of white people as if whites were the norm and black, brown and yellow people were abnormal subspecies on a lower level or deficient.

Europeans saw Africans as deficient. Lovers of George Friedrich Handel and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart saw lovers of B.B. King and Frankie Beverly and Maze as deficient. Lovers of Marian Anderson saw lovers of Lady Day and Anita Baker as deficient. Lovers of European cantatas -- Comfort ye in the glory, the glory of the Lord -- Lovers of European cantatas saw lovers of common meter -- I love the Lord, He heard my cry -- they saw them as deficient.

In the past, we were taught to see others who are different as being deficient. We established arbitrary norms and then determined that anybody not like us was abnormal. But a change is coming because we no longer see others who are different as being deficient. We just see them as different. Over the past 50 years, thanks to the scholarship of dozens of expert in many different disciplines, we have come to see just how skewed, prejudiced and dangerous our miseducation has been.

          "Jackson, Obama's pal"?

Jesse Jackson said he wanted to *cut Obama's balls off* earlier this year. Does that sound like a close and lasting friendship to you?

Whether McCain won or lost is not relevant. He succeeded in the first half hour to plant the seeds of a Reagan style wipeout. Reputable historians and economists overwhelmingly agree that the taxation imposed by and the "stimulus" spending and public works programs of FDR actually deepened and prolonged the Great Depression. It was the production demands of WWII that got the economy going again. And when the war was over, the economy promptly went into recession.

Point is, Obama's programs are tax and spend, and it does not really matter who he taxes, those taxes are going to be passed through the economy. Any first year economics student knows that taxation is a tool used to contract an economy experiencing inflation, because it reduces demand by reducing the amount of money individuals and businesses have to spend. It is contractionary, which is exactly what you do not want to do when the problem is that the economy is contracting already into recession. Like FDR, Obama's plans will only make it worse for longer.

Obama's tax and spending plans alone would be bad enough, but add Reid and Pelosi to the mix, with the three of them controlling both houses of Congress and the executive without and effective restraint, and you have something that should be something that causes concern even among moderate Democrats. Don't think so? Watch and listen to a C-SPAN video clip of the Congressional hearings at roughly the time McCain's attempt at S.190. to fix fannie and freddie.

I'm happy you replaced Wright with Reid, but the video still doesn't show McCain.

All Naval officers must wear four-in-hand knots. Does that mean McCain's life with an heiress has influenced him more than his Naval upbringing?

This article is pretty ridiculous. Normal people have better things to worry about. I can't believe there is even enough information on tie knots to compose a two page article. It's unfortunate that there is.

If Barack Obama would apply for a job with the FBI or with the Secret Service, he would be disqualified because of his past association with William Ayers, a known terrorist.
If he is elected President he would not qualify to be his own body guard!
(and the majority of the people don't care)

To find the light at the end of the tunnel is wishful thinking. To find humor in a story that is supposed to be..uh..humorous is uh..well.. normal. For those of you who feel the need to take this article seriously I'd suggest a quick reality check. See, here in the United States we like to take everything literally and to heart. This way when something goes wrong we can blame someone else, maybe the person who didn't take EVERYTHING so serious. Lets sum up the campaign we're all so serious about. We have McCain who's policies and ideas are a lot like George W. Bush - I'm not saying they are identical but they're close enough. Then there is Obama who will offer a different view on the same old problems. The choice here is simple - Do we take McSame or try something new? Personally, I like the four-in-hand tie. Sometimes to fix the problem at hand you have to look for the simplest answers.

this campaign has gone on too long...
    tie knots? really?

  • Posted By: phiomalibumalibu @ 10/15/2008 9:22:35 AM

Old Guard, New Guard....doesn't really matter, most americans who wore ties, don't have jobs anymore. These high paying jobs got shipped to India. In fact most americans don't buy ties. No need.

  • Posted By: newsboy @ 10/14/2008 9:12:30 PM

This drivel just goes to show how down and out the MSM have become. What in hell are you doing writing about such really stupid, irrelevant stuff! The world is exploding and all you can do is write about how the candidates knot their ties?

  • Posted By: TheVigil @ 10/14/2008 5:55:28 PM

"But this much is at least clear: the Obama knot marks a definite break from the geometric Windsors of Bill Clinton and George W. Bush."

Boy howdy. That's sure why I'm voting for the Obama. You know how it's been with Bush, the five year old unnecessary war and the brazen breaches of due process and the dubious deregulation were all right, but that tie gots to go!

Newsweek, usually I have a lot of respect for you, but...neckties? Really? This is worth a two-page article?
