    Clearly, the people of America are realizing John McCain's failings: his reckless choice of token McBarbie as Veep, his embrace of failed Bush policies, his rather nasty temper. Barack Obama, by contrast, offers vision, a capable and admirable running mate, new direction, solid judgment, cool temperament.

    Hey Republicans, what are you looking for in Iraq and Afghanistan? Are you crazy? When citizens of U.S. suffer from such a severe economic crises, how can you dare to spend such big amounts in these countries? Have you seen any interest from these unnecessary wars? Have you satisfied with what you get from Iraq and Afghanistan? Why are you not acting rational? Please wake up Americans, please, I am begging you. If you wake up, there will be peace and welfare in everywhere on the earth. Believe me, believe me...

    I watched the news showing McCain???s interview on Fox being televised on CNN, FOX, and other networks. In the interview McCain said he wanted Obama to come out with the truth about Ayers so the public can decide. Why isn???t anyone calling out McCain on his hypocrisy on TROOPERGATE? He asks for public truth from Obama, yet he sends his lawyers to Alaska to cover up TROOPERGATE to avoid public scrutiny. Why doesn???t McCain let Palin testify about her TROOPERATE connection so the American Public can decide ??? the same standard he wants to apply to Obama. Do you smell hypocrisy?

    What about Palin's ties with secessionists? Shouldn't the public know the truth

    I don???t want to hear this excuse that TROOPERGATE is politically motivated and that the AYERS connection isn???t. Palin was in office as a government official during TROOPERGATE while Obama was eight years old when Ayers did his despicable act. You tell me which has more validity in applying a standard of judgment -- a person governing when the act was being committed or a person who was eight years old when someone else committed the act?

    If judgment is what McCain is questioning about Obama, shouldn???t the American pubic question McCain???s judgment for picking a VP that may be using her powers for personal reasons? Sounds like Bush/Chaney tactic to twist the law to protect them elves and those they surround themselves with. After all, Palin's character could be a heart beat away from the Presidency if McCain is elected. The public deserves the truth by her testifying in front of an INDEPENDENT board, not one she picks. How many middle class citizens you know that would get away with ignoring a subpoena -- hmmm, I guess if you could hire high powered lawyers to put you and your cronnies above the law, you could.

    Come on, what are you afraid of McCain, the truth? McCain keeps preaching about transparency in government, but I guess that only applies to others, not himself or those he surrounds himself with.

    The McCain and Palin character attacks on Barrack Obama are disgusting! McCain and Palin know that they are blantenly lying and misleading the public. McCain and Palin should be charged with SLANDER. John McCain has traded in his character to be President. But Palin is the worst. She keeps making up lies about the Obama/Biden platform and about their records. McCain, Palin and the Republican talking heads should all be charged with inciting a riot. They better be careful, because that is what they are going to get.

    Voters had better do their research and get the facts about who caused this mess. It was Clinton and the Dems who created it. Clinton admitted that it was his policies on a national interview, but noone wants to talk about it apparently. With Obama, we will have even more of a mess to deal with.

The first banking failures came under Ronald Reagan, I know I was one of 800 that lost their jobs, when Bank of America bought my bank. Then I went to work at a Savings & Loan, when all of those jobs went belly up with the Keating 5 fiasco, Ronald Reagan & George Bush Sr were in office. Read the blogger otm861 - he has made the most sense here - as he has been on both sides with Mr. McCain. McCain/Palin is doing a disservice to this campaign & this country.

      Indeed it looks like the intelligent folks have already done their homework and can see clearly the current economic crisis started with Reagan and continued with the Greed Over Patriotism party by removing all regulations of banks and wall st... .facts plain and simple if there were regulations and oversight we would not be in this economic mess
      Bushwhacker and Mcbush wanted to provatize social security can you imagine how bad off that would be if they were allowed to destroy something else... send them all home now and lets start cleaning up the mess of bushwhacker and the rest of the Greed Over Patriotism parties mess

    I???ll tell you were this is heading. The party of Lincoln and Reagan is no longer a serious contender in national politics. Actually, Sarah Palin was and is proof of the pudding. So, let???s all get behind Barak Obama and rebuild America. Our greatest times as a multi-cultural nation are yet to come. This is a great moment in history for America. let???s grasp the opportunity and fully achieve our destiney. We can remake the world to better serve the interests of regular people. We???ve done it before. Let???s take on the challenge and do it again. In FDR???s words ???all we have to fear, is fear itself.???

      I'm an Independent and "I" still cry foul about those elections. The voting machines were proven to be tampered with. the Supreme Court should NEVER have been allowed to say a word about it. their job is to interpret the law. That's all. The Rove tactics used were reprehensible. I have asked repeatedly if ANYONE voted for Bush either times. I got 1 (ONE) and that's all. Nope. It was fixed and that's that!

    I've been a supporter of Senator Obama and he's always come through. He's been a gentleman, treating Senator McCain with dignity even when McCain has taken the low road of character attacks.

    We are living in a time that we want the best minds to help all of us as Americans, especially the middle class that has been ignored. We, the middle class, pay more taxes, and are the backbone of America. Yet, we are losing jobs, our children are burdened with heavy school loans, and now can't get loans. If you are rich, you write a check to send your children to school or give to the school's foundation. If you are poor our taxes will help send you to college. If you are middle class, the class that supports America through its taxes and few loopholes, you struggle and watch your children live at home until that are 25-28 as they pay off student loans. America is better than this.

    As McCain and Palin continue there race or fear war...his lead will grow. We see past that nonsense.

    OBAMA! This is not black nor white...this a hope for green power for the middle class!

      Ignorance must be bliss. Anyone who says he ISN'T a Muslim, ISN'T a Muslim. Practically the first rule of Islam is that it is a deadly sin for a Muslim to deny his faith; under Sharia, this calls for the death penalty. Obama is a Christian, and you sound like a rabid racist (when someone gives a false excuse for his opinions, its because he doesn't want to ADMIT the real one).

    Oh Moses acted just like Jerimiah Wright...whenever anyone speaks up against the obvious atrocities of this country...goodness they're in the history books...they become un american or hateful...Wright is living in the past still hurt by it and too old to move on but you can move on from Wright...I've heard him preach the word several times and I never heard hate get a life worry about Hagel or that witch hunter who laying of hands got that Christian her job in Alaska don't sound too Christian to me....
