No one says to not question Obama's judgement...I'm sick of hearing that...that's not what's going here and you know it. Why is it that a black pastor tells his black congregation to lean on God and themselves and not to wait on white people to give them anything is considered hate it's not hate it's true. I don't like Wright for the betrayal of Obama...my pastor says things I don't agree with...Wright is old and apparently still scarred from the Jim Crow days that's not Obamas fault and that story had been debunked during the primary...worry about the Witch Doctor Palin got or the Successionist that she endorses and her husband is member imagine a VP pick supporting an organization that not only hates American but wants to succeed from it! Now if it was Obama and not that real Christian Conservative Goddess the race would be over!

Good grief. Obama served on a board with this guy. So what. I served on a board of directors for a charity and I did not background checks on my fellow board members. This has been blown so far out of proportion that the Republicans look very silly indeed. I can't take such nonsense seriously, nor could anyone with half a brain.

After Tim Russert died. I really went into a funk because in my opinion we lost a great truth teller. My husband reminded me, "we still have Keith Olberman, Chuck Todd, and Anderson Cooper..." True. Thank God. The problem is Keith is preaching to the choir, Chuck is hit or miss his posts, and Anderson Cooper seems to have lost his way after the Katrina coverage ended....and newspapers that say they are partisan and fair seem to be the one's fueling McCain and Palin's absurdity. Anyway....

During the past week, the McCain campaign has become the most delusional, dishonest, slimiest, most racist campaign I've ever seen. And while alot of media and papers pretend to be SHOCKED, SHOCKED, SHOCKED -- you are furthering contempt for Obama and advancing McVain. MEDIA (I mean the real journalist -- right or left) THAT IS NOT YOUR JOB. Your job is to report the news both sides. That means when McShame says something untrue or distorted or racist about Obama, YOUR JOB IS TO ASK A COUNTER QUESTION (this applies for both candidates). When McCain digs up Ayers, and Wright, and PAST drug use, your job is to yes...AND Isn't Cindy McCain a drug addict? What about G. Gordon Liddy, Keating 5, Alaska Independence Party (the "I hate America and don't bury me under that damn flag" club to which the Palins belong), Wasilla Witch Doctor, Abortion doctor shooter (McCain supporter), the Annenburgs (McCain supporters and owners of the foundation Obama and Ayers worked on)??? My list could go on and on. But that's YOUR JOB MEDIA. WHERE IS THE REAL -- NOT THE FAUX -- OUTRAGE! And what really should be put up front and personal in the media are the radicals that actually attend the McCain rallies. They are harping on Obama's middle name a name given to him at birth. What does that say to the Muslim American community and please explain to me exactly who the "main stream" are who Obama differs so much. To much of the "mainstream'" dismay America is not a race or a name or a color there is no such thing as an American language (English from England) or An American name. McCain's attacks fuel dangerous hatred

John McCain: If your campaign does not stop equating Sen. Barack Obama with terrorism, questioning his patriotism and portraying Mr. Obama as "not one of us," I accuse you of deliberately feeding the most unhinged elements of our society the red meat of hate, and therefore of potentially instigating violence.

At a Sarah Palin rally, someone called out, "Kill him!" At one of your rallies, someone called out, "Terrorist!" Neither was answered or denounced by you or your running mate, as the crowd laughed and cheered. At your campaign event Wednesday in Bethlehem, Pa., the crowd was seething with hatred for the Democratic nominee - an attitude encouraged in speeches there by you, your running mate, your wife and the local Republican chairman.

Shame!

John McCain: In 2000, as a lifelong Republican, I worked to get you elected instead of George W. Bush. In return, you wrote an endorsement of one of my books about military service. You seemed to be a man who put principle ahead of mere political gain.



You have changed. You have a choice: Go down in history as a decent senator and an honorable military man with many successes, or go down in history as the latest abettor of right-wing extremist hate.

John McCain, you are no fool, and you understand the depths of hatred that surround the issue of race in this country. You also know that, post-9/11, to call someone a friend of a terrorist is a very serious matter. You also know we are a bitterly divided country on many other issues. You know that, sadly, in America, violence is always just a moment away. You know that there are plenty of crazy people out there.

Stop! Think! Your rallies are beginning to look, sound, feel and smell like lynch mobs.

John McCain, you're walking a perilous line. If you do not stand up for all that is good in America and declare that Senator Obama is a patriot, fit for office, and denounce your hate-filled supporters when they scream out "Terrorist" or "Kill him," history will hold you responsible for all that follows.

John McCain and Sarah Palin, you are playing with fire, and you know it. You are unleashing the monster of American hatred and prejudice, to the peril of all of us. You are doing this in wartime. You are doing this as our economy collapses. You are doing this in a country with a history of assassinations.

Change the atmosphere of your campaign. Talk about the issues at hand. Make your case. But stop stirring up the lunatic fringe of haters, or risk suffering the judgment of history and the loathing of the American people - forever.

We will hold you responsible.

I'm fond of John McCain's hyperbolic claims: "Who is the real Obama?" Compared to, for example, who is the real John McCain? Is John McCain the man who in 2000 said to anyone who was listening that he would never treat others as the Bush team had treated him (and then, subsequently, hired the Bush team)? Is John McCain the man who postures a "normal family" (but who met his wife in an adulterous relationship)? Is John McCain the honorable elder statesman or the man orchestrating attack ads? Is John McCain the man of wise judgment he says he is, or does he pick an unqualified vice president not because he believes in her (per his own staff) but because he can use a woman to garner other votes?

Who is the real John McCain?

A final solution needs to be found for the promoters of the Republican agenda, as it heads for the ash heap of history.

I hope this lead continues, despite the best efforts of counties like Rensaleer in NY State (Albany area) printing out ballots and sending them to voters, that read "Barack Osama". This supposedly made it past the eyes of three proof-readers...or it could just be that certain people just can't stand the fact that the candidate for change is going to win and such certain people must continue to try to plant seeds of fear in voters. Repubs are breeding hate at their hate rallies. Vote early! Vote OBAMA/BIDEN!

How can you people say such horrible things about a person you've never met or know anything about. All you're hearing is from an angry politican who made it this close but now tastes defeat. You're blind to any of his short comings, and he has plenty, you're blind to his wife's short comings (she has many, too) and as far as Palin, well she's just a nut who befriends and attends meetings about Alaska seperating itself from the rest of the United States. I may agree with you that the economy may not be Obama's stronhold. it is not McCain's either. The difference with Obama is his attitude toward the crisis. he surrounded himself with people who have been there and who knows the market (Ruben, Larry Summers, Buffet ect.). That tells me me that he's serious about getting to the bottom of the economy. When asked who he would consider for Secretary of the treasury, I was suprised that McCain mentioned Warren Buffet,.

This is a guy who has been lobbying for more taxes. Sen. McCain will say anything to get elected. His actions have been eratic and inconsistent. In regard to ACORN, anyone could go to their office and filled these applications then mailed them. There is an investigation, let us wait for the result and remember officials have stated that there is no evidence of fraud. People let us put our personal feelings behind. We need smart people running the government, people who are stable and consistent in their thoughts. The last person I want to run this country is my friend Joe who took fives years to get a college degree and who called me my fellow prisoner. Please this country cannot afford another dumb leader. We have a deficit of more than 3 trillions dollars.

We've seen the same posts like a hundred times now - get some new material, or at least reformat it!

I can't tell you how many people I've talked to who have come around. Many of them aren't happy about it, but they can look at the bigger picture and do what's best for the country as a whole, putting their prejudices and dislike aside.

Even the haters know it but will never admit it.

To everyone:

Please check online to make sure you are registered to vote even if you have your registration cards. Thousands of people have been purged from the voter registrations files and your vote will not count. And it's coming out that it is mostly Democrats (they haven't released numbers). Several people in my workplace checked on our state's website and it says "no records found". Don't be fooled by the Republicans.
