The Fight for the Jewish Vote

I am a Jewish believer in Jesus. Most blogs and news services have quoted the same one paragraph of the six-page transcript of the message that David Brickner of Jews for Jesus delivered at Sarah Palin???s church, giving the false impression that he is saying that a bulldozer attack by a deranged Palestinian is God???s judgment on the Jewish people. Among other things, Brickner says, "The comments attributed to me were taken out of context. The notion that the terrorist, bulldozer attack in Jerusalem this summer was God???s judgment on Israel for not believing in Jesus, is absolutely not what I believe. In retrospect, I can see how my rhetoric might be misunderstood and I truly regret that . . . . Let me be clear. I don???t believe that any one event whether a terrorist attack or a natural disaster is a specific fulfillment of or manifestation of a Biblical prediction of judgment. I don???t believe that the newspaper should be used to interpret the Bible. The Bible interprets the Bible. I love my Jewish people and the land of Israel. I stand with and support her against all efforts to harm her or her people in any way."

HolyRoller, JoseMarti and similar posters: Do me, yourself and the GOP Party a favor: Put just half the effort that you put into bashing Obama and the Democrats into praising the real values of the Republican Party and it's ticket if you want to get McCain elected. All of this peurile and acrimonious name calling, smearing and outright antagonization is not helping our cause, makes the conservative base look childish, unintelligent, frightened and self serving. It turns off Independent voters and so basically serves the Dem's interests.

The previous comments look like they were written by some of Herr Rove's employees pretending to legitmately join in a conversation or comment forum but actually working for the Republicans. If I was a Jew I would be very scared about Palin's church's desire to see the "end of days" which to them necessarily includes the total destruction of Israel and great death. Think about it. Think about what kind of person she is, rationalizer, no restraints, no self-denial, self-obsessive, a concious and congenital liar. And think of the whackos (or worse) people leading some of her religous/political cult groups and the outrageous rationalizing they "preach" or promote. McCain has done our country a grave disservice. And since I'm talking about Palin I disagree with the Alaska legislative report that claims Palin had the legal authority to fire the Police Chief. In my opinion there are both, civil and criminal statutes and rules and regulations that forbade the Chief from firing the Trooper without just cause and especially as part of any criminal conspiracy on behalf of a personal vendetta by the trooper's ex-sister-in-law. Even 42 U.S.C. 1985 would apply. Palin's retribution against the Chief for his refusing to engage in a criminal or civil conspiracy and to break civil and criminal laws can not be deemed within her lawful powers as Governor. That is just plain nonsense and this issue should be reviewed. We let these crooked politicians get away with too much. They should be held to at least the same standard as regular folk.

Palin is astoundingly ignorant. Most first year college students could have performed better in the Couric interview than she did. On the campaign trail, her insults and outright untruths are offensive to the intelligence of the electorate. Her radical fundamentalism and anti-American barbs about Obama repulse people of reason. This pick tells us a great deal about McCain and none of it is good.

In 1998, Biden was one of four in the Senate who voted against the Iran Missile Proliferation Sanctions Act.
In 2001 after 9-11 Biden stated, ???this would be a good time to send, no strings attached, a check for $200 million to Iran???
In 2002, Biden received $30,000 from California home of Dr. Sadegh Namazi-khah, a well-known supporter of the Iranian mullahs.
In 2004, Biden stated, ???What the world needed to address was Iran???s emotional needs??? and he met with Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi in Davos, Switzerland to discuss a non-agression pact.
In 2007, Biden (voted against declaring the Iran???s Revolutionary Guards as terrorists. The Guards are responsible for killing Americans in Iraq. In 2007, Biden also stated, ???Iran is not a nuclear threat to the United States of America.???
In 2008, , Biden said Israel should get used to a nuclearized Iran.

Obama answered off subject; he never answer the question. McCain said, yes, he would militarily support Israel and not go to the U.N. as Russia & China have veto power.

The Jewish vote has generally been an intelligent vote. I don't see Palin communicating well with this population. She dose not understand the issues and McCain's age could become an issue.
