The Fight for the Jewish Vote

I can no longer support or be a member of a GOP that transcends itself as pure and holy then contradicts its image through seeding the notion of unethical practices against its opponents while walking the same path and trying to do it hidden. This party is no longer the honorable party in which I joined twenty years ago. Nor does it hold the integrity of the Ronald Reagan I believed in. longer. I cannot be a part of anger and hatred in which I have witnessed this week from Senator McCain and his supporters. To hear the hatred and bitterness I heard coming from his meetings is not the America I remember growing up within. Nor is it the mentality in which I want my children being a part of. We will remove our membership from the GOP and begin to teach our children in this house hold to keep an open and independent mind when it comes to politics.

In a few weeks we will make a choice that will decide our future.
I follow an economist named Bob Proctor. He has called the top and bottom of every market crash since the 70s correctly.
Also, he perfectly predicted the current real estate market meltdown and the picture he paints about what will happen in the next couple years
is terrifying.He thinks it will be worse then the great depression.
The banks in the U.S. are going under one after the other. Countrywide ,Bear Stearns, Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch , Fanny and Freddy Mae ,AIG
The government took them over because they are essentially bankrupt. Even with the goverment nationalizing hundreds of billions of dollars in debt the stock market is crashing
the credit markets are frozen and all of us may suffer beyond anything in the last 80 years.
McCain just like Bush " doesn't understand the economy".
That not just my opinion its his own words. Not only does he not understand how to fix it but he does not understand exactly what is broken.
It is no surprise that he doesn't. The people that make up these securities use complex mathematical models very few people understand.
Bush and McCain both can take the credit for this mess since they helped deregulate the laws that were protecting us.
Bush's economic advisor Phil Graham wrote the deregulation bill that allowed banks to take huge risks with all of our future.
Now, Phil Graham is the head of McCain's economic policy.He is also McCain's choice for the next secretary of the treasury.
No one in this country can afford for that to happen. The last time Bush met with his economic advisors was in March. He didnt realize that anything was wrong. Phil Graham had the guts to say that we are in a mental recession after he helped create the worst economy meltdown in our lifetime. It will take the best and brightest minds in the world to get us out of this nightmare. As bad as Bush has done, McCain would be
even more destructive because things are in much worse shape. The next president will not inherit a surplus like Bush did but a crashing economy and a 11,600,000,000,000 (trillion) dollars deficit. Most of it Bush created and it will take decades to pay it back.
If you do what you have always done then you will get what you have always got.
When it comes to policy Bush and McCain are the same 90 percent of the time.
So why are the polls even close then ?
Mccains team just said they no longer want to talk about the economy.Instead they would like to spend time talking about obama
which means running the biggest smear campaign in history.
They think they can just tell you lies and you wont be smart enough to see through it
Let's teach him we are smarter than that .

The journalists themselves make it very clear that only 30 percent of Jews at most have stated support for the Republican ticket. Since when does that suggest Obama was trailing?

Who played the financial markets to crash down for Obama's favor? THE TIMING WAS VERY CRITICAL. Right when Mccain was in the lead. How many "international " investors were involved? who is bent to make Barack Husein Obama the POTUS? fIRST THEY PLAYED THE energy crisis. WE beat them. Then they withdrew their holdings and support for our fianancial system. "AMERICA had it coming". WE entertained all these back stabbers who were more than ready to pull the money away from wall street market. All so legally. Govt had to step in to stop the short sale of uSA. Jews respect intelligence, intuitiveness and many values embodied by Senator Barack Obama. And Palin polarizes. There's nothing endearing about ignorance of the domestic or international scene or the fear-mongering misrepresentations she and McCain have leveled at Obama. The rallies that McCain and Pallin have conducted in the past two weeks are a disgusting portrait of appealling to the hate, fear and discrimanation that was supposedly ended in the l960s with the desegregation of schools, resturants and all public places. With their ennuedos of Obamas 'association 'with a so call terrorist;,who performed those acts when Obama was 8 years old, he was on the same board as Ayers and knew of him in connection with political meetings (and may have introduced him when he first ran. That does not make Obama an associate of terrorists, he is a fine young man, as McCain finally admitted to his hate filled audience, and they booed him for saying that. He has brought out a bucket of worms with his vile statements of the past week, and I am afraid that he has given the impression that he is giving the nuts out there in his audience to think its ok to show their hatred by doing something drastic. I hope and pray he and his VP have come to their senses and reaize what would happen to this country if someone would be so filled with fear and hate by their ugly insinuations that they would take the meaning of their retoric to lead them to do the horrible deeds that they are spurred on by believing their leaders insane speeches. God help this country if they don't make it clear that they do not support any violance of any kind so that they can become President. Senator McCain the blood would be on your and your VPs hands.

Imagine that it's November fourth, election day. You've read up on all the candidates, local and national, and are ready to cast an informed vote. You get off work a little early and head to the polls.
But after waiting in line, you find out you are not on the voter rolls.

You argue with the poll worker ??? you've voted before! They don't know why you aren't on the list, and weren't trained on what to do. Frustrated and embarassed, you leave without voting.

Purged?
Scenes like this happen more often than you might think, according to a new report from the Brennan Center for Justice. The study found that "thirty-nine states and the District of Columbia reported purging more than 13 million voters from registration rolls between 2004 and 2006." And while affirming that purges correctly-done are an important way to ensure voter rolls are dependable and up-to-date, the study found that:
"Far too frequently, however, eligible, registered citizens show up to vote and discover their names have been removed from the voter lists. States maintain voter rolls in an inconsistent and unaccountable manner. Officials strike voters from the rolls through a process that is shrouded in secrecy, prone to error, and vulnerable to manipulation."
Though the report notes that the "secret and inconsistent manner in which purges are conducted make it difficult, if not impossible, to know exactly how many voters are stricken from voting lists erroneously," it lists multiple instances where tens of thousands of voters were improperly stricken from the rolls.


Protecting Your Vote
The Brennan Center report offers long-term solutions to ensure every eligible voter has a chance to vote. But the 2008 election is just around the corner, and what if you or someone you know is purged?
Election Protection, a non-partisan coalition, offers voter education and protection through an informational Web site and an election hot-line (1-866-OUR-VOTE). They've also offer a useful voting checklist flyer you can print out and bring with you to the poll.

Just one thing: After the election, Lieberman is going to find himself sitting over on the Republican side, at the request of the Democrats. All this nonsense for McCain is making him beyond persona non grata in the Democratic party.

Hope they like taxes--the $250k figure is misleading. The Tax Foundation (nonpartisan; praised by both parties) says Obama's tax plan has a 'cliff for seniors.' That cliff begins at $49,999.

Mass media really has done a poor job using the resources on both candidate's plans; McCain's and Obama's. But Obama's would actually levy more taxes than he is claiming because of the repeal of the Bush tax adjustments, including the marriage penalty.
