Since Obama failed to answer Tom B.'s question in the last debate: As president, if Israel is attacked, would you defense Israel or go to the U.N.

Obama's answer was off subject; he never answered the question

McCann said, yes, as president he would militarily defend Israel and not go to the U.N. since the Russians and Chinese had veto power.

How does that make you feel about Obama being our nation's commander in chief, American Jewish Voters?

Actually, that wasn't what Brokaw asked. You should try to remember more precisely.

I found this was one of his brilliant responses, one smart commander in chief AVOIDS war first (not like Bush, look the disaster!), so the fisrt step is NOT to allow Iran to get nukes. This way not only Israel is safe but many countries as well including us. I prefer this approach than the bomb, bomb, bomb!!!! It is easy when somebody else sons and daughters are dying............

Bush didn't avoid war first? No. Collossal, third world fool Hussein had 12 years (yes, years) and 17 resolutions to comply with the (corrupt) UN. But, no, he played footsie with them until the end of his rope.

Why does a Jew always worry about money? God people just enjoy your life or what is left of it.

Sarah Palin is either truly deperate or truly despicable. Not only do they decide to associate Obama with Ayers, with whom Obama has had limited contact, but Palin has also decided to attack Obama's middle name. In addition to attacking Obama, Palin demonizes anyone with a "funny" name, like Hussein and anyone who happens to be a Muslim. Understandably, as a native of Wasilla, Alaska, Palin does not know much about the rest of the world.
Therefore, she does not understand that Hussein is one of the most common names in world. In fact, Hussein was the surname of one of my students, a wonderful, diligent, graceful young lady. Her father, Mr. Hussein, was a concerned, loving, supportive parent who often checked in with me to find out his daughter was doing in my class. As a public employee, I did not investigate Mr. Hussein's religious beliefs. However, if I were apply the precepts of the Book of James in the Bible, which measures faith by works or deeds, I have to say Mr. Hussein's religious beliefs (or lack thereof) were far more worthy of God that the nonsensical claptrap which produced an ignorant bigot like Sarah Palin.
Beyond maligning people's names, Palin and McCain are attacking the loyalty and patriotism of millions of American Muslims, some of whom are serving our country in Iraq and Afghanistan. Once it becomes acceptable to defame Muslims, it becomes acceptable to defame Jews, gays, African Americans, Latinos... The anti-Islamic fervor of McCain and Palin's campaign reminds me of the anti-Semitism of Central Europe in the 1930's. And increasingly, a McCain rally resemble the cross-burning rallies of Ku Klux Klan, and probably Palin in particular attracts her share of Klansmen.
McCain and Palin are not merely anti-American. They are assaulting the very principles and ideals that this country represents. They are a disgrace to America. Every member of the Republican party, as well as their apologists in the media, should hang their heads in shame.

Well said!!! The democrats have done but good to this country, look Clinton years but republicans create caos and recession every time, IS THIS THE MEASURE OF PATRIOTISM??
Then democrats are PATRIOT and republican are not, they DESTROY THE COUNTRY! They can wrap with the flag all they want, the proof is in the pudding.

Yes. The proof is in the democrap pudding. The current mess is directly traced to your buddies and the Fannie/Freddie fiasco that Bush and McCain tried to legislate, but were stopped by democrats Barney Frank and Chris Dodd. If you're going to find fault and assign blame, put it where it lies.

I have a hard time understanding why anyone would want to vote for McCain who in his own word said that "he doesn't understand the economy" and would continue the same old failed Bush policy.

    • Posted By: Vypurr @ 10/10/2008 9:07:49 PM

Note to the uneducated... Bush and McCain tried to pass legislation to stop risky loan practices for the past five years, but were stopped by your democrat pals Barney Frank and Chris Dodd.

A good lib never let's the facts get in the of their agenda!
