Joe Biden should've asked Palin directly during the so called [VP Debate]

Governor Palin did you leave the Town of Wasilla with Surplus or did you leave Wasilla in [Debt] ?

    Biden's answer should've been....

Wasilla had a 1 Million dollar [Debt] before your Mayoralship an after your Mayoralship, the town of Wasilla ended up with a 25 Million dollar [Debt] !!!

    Thats a fact Governor Palin

The Bridge to Nowhere is now a Road to Nowhere...fact

    Governor Palin

Governor Palin, why did'nt you return the EarMark Money, when it became obvious that the Government was not going to grant you more Free Money to your Bridge to Nowhere, when even your Presidential Running mate [John McCain] used Your Bridge Project as the reasoning behind Wasteful Spending and Wasteful Pork Barrell Spending, not to menton, You, Governor Palin, have applied for more EarMarks and Pork Barrell funding for year 2009...

    Oh I get it.....

You and Mccain are just being a Couple of Maverick's huh

I will not ask anymore questions of you, if you Coherently Answer the questions asked of you.

Those questions would've Exposed Palin as the Walking, Talking, Living Breathing, Hypocritical, Contradiction, sarah Palin, Truly is.

PS: That Investigative group of 10 Republicans and 4 Democrats regarding Palin's Abuse of Power were Greenlit by Palin, upon her request, to show Transperancy and this same assembly of a Majority Republican group, in a Republican State, says that the B!tch is Guilty of Abuse Of Power...

    Accept the facts.

Accept also that Palin is Controle by her [Husband] Todd Palin, who is a [AIP member] with his own Agenda.

Accept that Palin is a [Floating Soap Bubble] so Clear you can see right through her !!

A Floating Soap Bubble, Clear and Hollow inside, Floating unil the Wind and Time causes her to Burst !!!!

The story of the birth of Trig is something I still suspect.
Firstly, any pregnant woman is told not to fly after 7-8th month. She already knew Trig was DS prior to any trip. She flew to Texas. Her water broke in Texas but she made the choice to fly back to Alaska to have the baby. Hmmm. Her having had 4 children already -- the normal birth process is much quicker the more children you have. Therefore water breaking on 5th child -- you don't have the time to "Fly back to Alaska" as it has been reported was about 8 hours before she got to hospital. It also shows the poor judgment in putting the baby further at risk with having to fly. I find this suspicious and I think many women would.

These stories trying to explain things seem concocted placing more suspicions due to the parties not being forthright in providing documentation to prove it. The birth cert is what I will call "sealed". Why? It's only a child's birth cert. Therefore the secrecy only makes it worse. What are they hiding. Is it her's? Is the baby from an affair? How to gain credibility is to not hide all personal matters. The more they hide, the more that is discovered, the worse it gets. When you are secretive as to birth of a child, that sends sirens blaring of how an administration would be run. Hmmmm -- Bush & Cheney come to mind in a nano-second. Sorry people -- these elected officials work for us. Not us working for them. Therefore because of the secretive way she has handled everything -- I want to know if she has a mole on her ***.

This may sound trivial to some, but when you start adding up all the various issues that have come to light, these 'small' things grow tenticles. I would normally not give a crap as I am an issues person. But, her secretiveness has opened a door that I can't ignore and neither should anyone else. No medical documents have been handed over yet. Is she waiting for the day before election??

I'm sorry -- but when your experience is based on a town of 6,000, or a state of under a million in 2007 & ranked in size as 47th out of 50 states -- that's not good enough for millions of Americans. The total pop of the state gets eaten in one borough of NY. On the job training is for mail clerks at entry level jobs -- Not the second highest job of the nation. When you have been a registered Rep for 26 years, you should already know the policies the party stands for. You should already know who the members of the party is especially when they've been in Washington for 26 years. You should already know the a substantial amount of info re voting records of the candidates running for Pres, especially since there were hints and conversations as far as 4 months before being tapped. You should already know foreign policy as governing a state, you should know because of homeland security and programs to keep the citizens safe, especially if you can see Russia. You should know regarding foreign policy & security when you have a chi

Evangelicals like Palin have a strange blindness to ethical issues -- suprising because evangelicals are supposed to be "good" -- as opposed to all the evil out there.

Most Republicans have the decency to wait until they get into the White House before they start abusing power.
The bar just keeps getting lower and lower.

Sara Shamlin as she is being called in Alaska these days apparently doesn't understand ethics and hasn't for some time. Prior to despising Trooper Wooten, the Governor not only wrote a glowing letter of recommendation to the State Troopers on behalf of Mike Wooten in 2000, when she was Mayor of Wasilla. She wrote the letter on official mayoral letterhead(official stationary) to get her brother in law a job. That simply is not done. Any mayor in the lower 48 will tell you, her request should have been personal and written on personal letterhead. Offical mayoral letterhead is to be used for town business only. First, I have a feeling Sarah Palin did not have a clue that not only was that ethically wrong, she could probably have been sanctioned for it. As Mayor of the City of Wasilla, she represents all of her constituents, thus she has no right to use any city related items for personal gain. Did all of Wasilla wish to see her brother in law get a job at the state troopers? If there was a town meeting and everyone agreed then she could use her town's letterhead and if not, she should not have used it. Sara obviously is of the opinion that because she's on a mission for god, at the taxpayers expense, that she was and remains above the law.

There is no indication he had access "given," or that he represented himself as an "emissary of the Governor" He is not responsible for what people may infer. The documents are admittedly another matter, however the details of that , such as how he got access to them, are not discussed. Thus the finding is not supported on the evidence discussed, and is at best, premature.

The interesting question is why it is necessary to reach this conclusion in the first place, as the report found that there were other reasons why Monegan was removed, and that Palin had every right to do so. Having reached that conclusion, the rest appears a fishing expedition.

    • Posted By: meede @ 10/12/2008 3:08:41 PM

"as the report found that there were other reasons why Monegan was removed."

I and everyone else would like to read what these other reasons were as I suspect those reasons are documents that have been concocted by Palin or staff members or First Dude since he seemed to have a place of unpaid employment within the Mayor/Governor's office. So much of her governorship has been carried out from her home and with the recent inquiries to staff to which they have been totally unresponsive protecting her and their own butts, only parades in front of us corruption within her office. Her personal information has all be secretive, her taxes filed appear wrong in that there is issues of per diems not claimed. The list of things overflowing from the genie bottle after 6 weeks on the world stage is unbelievable for a person who has held mayor/governor office for such a short time. How she thought she could keep this secretive only confirms she has no credibility in the judgment arena. Do you think Putin is going to back off when this little peon barks what she wants. He would eat her for an appetizer and our country would severely suffer for it. A wink and a nod doesn't cut it on the world stage.

When is the FBI going to probe the McCain campaign's interference in the investigation? Witnesses told they could not testify and defy subpoenas by the state's Attorney General. A National Guard commander who got a promotion after changing his tune about the Governor's experience with national defense matters. All this after they sent their "vetting" team up there to do what ought to have been done (and, I suspect, was, however poorly). Obstruction of justice is what that team was sent up there for. Where's the FBI on this?

Now that Sarah Palin has been found to have abused her powers, violated state ethics, and lied about it, I did a little digging and found an interesting historical footnote.

The McCain/Palin ticket is the first in American history in which both candidates were found to have violated ethics standards before a national election.

McCain, of course, was admonished by Senate Ethics Committee "for exercising 'poor judgment' for intervening" with federal regulators on behalf of Charles Keating, as part of the infamous Keating Five scandal.

And now McCain's running mate has also been found to have violated state ethics laws and abused the powers of her office, as part of the "Troopergate" scandal.

The nation has had 102 major-party tickets covering 51 presidential elections over more than two centuries. And we've never had a ticket in which both candidates on the same ticket were responsible for ethics violations before a national election. McCain/Palin is the first.

It makes the whole "reform" pitch a little more difficult, doesn't it?

Excellent comment HyperD. We have lived through enough administrations trying to push so many things into the closet while they hold the highest office in the country. We don't need them openly dragging baggage up the stairs of the White House INTO the office. Past behaviour is a good indicator as to future behaviour. "Dr. Philism!!!" (don't like him but it came to mind!!) McCain's may have been years ago, but there have been other indicators from that time til now regarding deregulatiory votes. Palin's can of worms has just opened and the spillover has begun to look like Hurricane Katrina as only being on the world stage for 5 or 6 weeks -- WOW. Credibility is tanking faster than the Titanic -- actually of both McCain & Palin.

Everything McCain asked us to believe of him for years -- he's thrown it all away and is now a person no one recognizes. Straight Talk -- everything but. Country First -- no. They each have their own "ME FIRST" agenda and it's not on the same page. It's too late for McCain to rein in the hateful remarks of himself & Palin & his rallies which has divided this country even more. If he actually did care and mean it, he wouldn't be running neg ads & would remove them from his websites. It's sad. Am I proud to be American -- I'm not sure as this has sunk so deep into the gutter, that worldwide, we all look like fools. And these are the only choices we have to elect to run our Country on a worldwide stage. Respect cannot be demanded. It is earned and we have alot of ground to make up throughout the world. Starting with quit acting like we know what's best for the rest of the world. We don't. We can't take care of our own. We sound so arrogant. Great to sound and be patriotic -- but it's the arrogant way we project it. As if to say every other country in the world are fools. Sad -- truly sad.

Rabid Dog Palin has NEVER been called on her QUOTING a kNOWN anti-Semite Westbrook Pegler. in her RNC 2008 Convention speech. Westbrook Pegler, was the mid-century Hearst columnist famous for his anti-Semitism, racism and violent rhetorical excess. After an assassin tried to kill F.D.R. at a Florida rally and murdered Chicago???s mayor instead in 1933, Pegler wrote that it was ???regrettable that Giuseppe Zangara shot the wrong man.??? In the ???60s, Pegler had a wish for Bobby Kennedy: ???Some white patriot of the Southern tier will spatter his spoonful of brains in public premises before the snow falls.???

This is the writer who found his way into a speech by a potential vice presidential candidiate at a national political convention. It???s astonishing there???s been no demand for a public accounting from the McCain campaign. Imagine if Obama had quoted a Black Panther or Louis Farrakhan ??? or William Ayers ??? in Denver. (F. Rich)"
Sarah Palin in an inept, virtually illiterate TOXIC RACIST LYNCH MOB rabble rouser.

Was there anything inappropriate in the building of the Palin's home in Wasilla by Todd and contractor friends of the Palins about the same time as the sports complex was being built? Who paid for the building materials? I have heard rumors about this and am curious as to whether there is anything to this or if it is being investigated?

Why isn't anyone mentioning that 10 Reublicans and 4 Democrats unanimously concluded that Sarah Palin abused power. This does not sound too partisan to me.

Palin is lying now about the legislative findings. She insists that the report found nothing illegal or unethical about her behavior. She lies and considers herself above the law in the same way Bush and Cheney do. Fair warning to the people - and ~40% of voters will elect McCain-Palin even if McCain announced he were struggling with another melanoma and they threw Sarah in prison. Whatever justice can be derived for the people of Alaska from the findings of the personnel board will be a good thing.

  • Posted By: meede @ 10/12/2008 2:19:19 PM

Why is it everything that pertains to Palin in both the political arena and personal area are all technically sealed as private. I say this in that it was necessary to obtain Court injunction to save the emails of her office and those used under the personal addresses to which she has conducted government business. Same type of play like Cheney/Rove/Libbey. When looking into personal by way of permits/inspections for house building as house was erected at same time as arena. Statements taped that husband & 'contractor buddies' built house. Suspicious. Labour/material gifts?? Favours?? To clear air re young son - birth cert not public. Why? Palin is a state worker. Low level government. Speaks transperancy but has hidden everything pertaining to herself. Why? Demands all others be transparent. Ethics question re Bristol Bay/Mining -- personal comment days before vote, to which she did not have a vote. Governor's should respond "No comment". Appears many have been fired/replaced, as not agreeing with her stand. Troopergate is proof. Have been many others as mayor & gov. There is no government democracy in Alaska. Either Palin's way or get out of my way -- your fired.

As far as Meg Stapleton -- on screen shows as EX-Palin aid. Actually, every time she is interviewed by media, she is providing a taped job interview in the hope McCain wins. Her agenda is to work in Washington. She also at state level is covering her *** as she is in it as deep as Palin.

Everyone should read the 263 page report, which is online and easily Googled.

You will see that the McCain claims that the investigation is run by Obama supporters is ludicrous. The Alaska legislators who demanded the investigation and voted unanimously Friday to release the report consists of ten Republicans and four Democrats.

Note also that the scandal began long before McCain chose Palin as his veep candidate.

Really, Palin supporters need to get beyond this "she's one of us!" mentality. She is not one of us. The report and all the credible evidence from Alaska paint a disturbing picture of an amateurish and vicious Palin administration.

Americans need to demand competence and honesty from their leaders. Palin is incompetent and dishonest. She is playing a role - stop confusing her reality show with reality.

    • Posted By: politicaljunkie41910 @ 10/12/2008 2:12:54 PM

      Amateurish and vicious, You betcha.

It seems that every step of the way, Palin and her crew were warned that even their conversations were in violation of personnel policies and even possibly illegal yet the persisted as if they didn't have a clue. Even the state attorney general got involved in making phone calls. You've think the states' AG would at least have a clue of what's lawful. Monegan and all those who they sought to influence, were the only ones who acted approproprietly and professionally and seemed to have any sense of the complete illegality of their conduct and the potential damage it could pose to the state taxpayers, not to mention ethically or morally. At one point Monegan asked on Palin's staffers, "Do you realize this conversation would be 'discoverable' ? Do you wish to lose your house in a lawsuit?

I think it would be poetic justic if Palin were to be impeached, but even if she weren't if Monegan were to run for governor in the next election and win.

    • Posted By: politicaljunkie41910 @ 10/12/2008 1:57:23 PM

Amateurish and vicious no doubt. The TIME report concluded that Palin and her staff were warned repeatedly by those who they were attempting to influence that what there were doing violated personnel rules and may even be illegal and it fell on deaf ears. Even the state attorney general got involved and he too was warned.

It seems that in the end, the guy who was fired Monegan and his staff were the only ones who had a clue. It would be poetic justice if Palin was impeached and Monegan was elected Governor in the next election.

What I am MOST concerned about is Todd Palin's illegal role within the office of the governer. Mrs. Palin is a fundamentalist Christian who believes in the literal translation of the Bible. Genesis 3:16, "... Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you." I think it fair to ask the governor if she is unable to abide by this Biblical decree and excuse herself from the ticket, lest the country be "ruled" by someone whom the unelected husband "rules" over.

Why should we be surpirsed? McCain has a knack for turning gold into that other, more common substance, and here he is hip deep again.

WHO IS THE REAL SARAH PALIN?

poor palin fan, it must hurt to find out that your so called christian vp canidate lied her *** off. talk about being a hypocrite. preach one thing, but she does the opposite.

  • Posted By: Joel Grant @ 10/12/2008 12:59:06 PM

Dismissing the report on the grounds that it is partisan and run by Obama supporters is ludicrous.

First, the committee that recommended the investigation consisted of ten Republicans and four Democrats.

Second, Troopergate began long before Palin was chosen for the Republican ticket.

I urge everyone to simply read the report. It paints a dispassionate, evidence-based portrait of a Palin administration that is simultaneously amateurish and vicious.

This is not someone any proud American should want anywhere near the White House.

Based on the horrible display over the last week I feel that McCain and Palin are absolutely NOT ready to lead. As much as McCain says he 'knows how to do stuff' like 'fix the economy', 'catch Osama Bin Laden', 'win wars', etc. He just really hasn't convinced me that he does know now to lead on the economy. I would consider him a traitor if he knew 'how to' catch Bin Laden and did not share that information with the president and the pentagon so that one just seems ridiculou. Our country doesn't need to get into more wars and we really can't afford them so I find his statement that he can 'win wars' a sign that he wants more wars and I really don't believe that he 'knows how to win one'. He may have an idea but he certainly has no experience that would back up this statement. He has served honorably in the service but being a POW does not mean he knows how to win wars.

It is unacceptable that we would put Sarah Palin and her 'shadow VP' Todd Palin in office. They are unfit and unqualified to run this country.
