"Unruffled?" Good Grief . . . give me a break! It is called biding time . . . waiting to buy the president's office.

According to Obama's colleagues in Washington, Obama has a past of NOT WORKING across party lines. So, forget the empty rhetoric that Obama claims he will CHANGE if elected President, and unite Washington across party lines.

The NObama campaign is asking law enforcement officials across the state of Missouri to join its "truth squad" and target anyone promoting or disseminating untrue or misleading material about the candidate. Police, sheriffs, and prosecutors will be cracking down on what they call violations of Missouri's ethics laws, which are to include these kinds of incidents.

In my opinion, obama has already created the change he set out to. By focusing on the issues he is giving the people a clear choice for promoting a hopeful vision of the future.

Obama is the most divisive in his rhetoric than anyone I have ever seen. Ironic that he preaches unity when his rhetoric is so divisive. What a hypocrite!

Excellent and well-thought out article. 18 months ago, I knew nothing about Obama and had a favorable impression of McCain, and was leaning towards voting for McCain. However, while neither candidate is perfect, Obama has invested his time in discussing fundamental issues, while McCain and his campaign seem to do nothing but attack Obama's character and distort what he says. McCain's choice for VP truly shocked me, as it contradicted what he had attacked Obama over - the lack of experience. I, for one, am tired of name-calling and using labels - that's not helpful in deciding the issues, to me at least. I was hoping for an intelligent discussion of how to get America back on track. I only heard one man focus on this, and he acted like an adult. Sadly, I now have a very negative impression of someone I used to admire. I have made up my mind and will definitely vote for Obama.

Obama has his attack-dogs the MSM, etc that do his dirty work for him so he comes off smelling like a rose.

Obama is a smoker. Nicotine gives him an advantage. Get a clue and don't try to make a case that he is tempermentally-gifted in some way. As an attorney, he has alot of practice making arguments but this does not make him any more composed than John McCain in general. Give it up - your bias is transparent.

Obama cannot be strong in business and economy because foreign investment, foreign and American companies will simply move out of the United States. Who would want risk their hard earned money on a country who would soon become communist or social as Obama has suggested. Besides Obama simply anti-anything big business and anti-Chinese and Russian, etc... Why would any one want to have anything to do with the U. S. After all, Obama is simply a unlucky person whose mother was dead very young, supporter such as Ted Kennedy is dying, his grandmother is dying, and many of his Black supporters are dying or dead in the last few month. How can he bring any good fortune to the U.S.? The democratic party when under the Bill Clinton administration has promised to be for protecting the Environment but in fact they have performed alot worse them the Republican in term of Environmrnt projects. The Republican can at least lower the energy and resource consumption by slowing down economic expansion. The Democrats under Bill Clinton continuous economic expansion policy have create the worse Environmental problem in human history. Clinton didn't even approval the Kyoto Treaty to reduce "Greenhouse Gases"!

"Justanotherprimate" made a posting that reminds me of my favorite quote from Alan Watts in "The Way of Zen". He said, "Jesus pointed the way and the Christians started sucking his finger". Talk about missing the point of an excellent article! I myself had a child out of wedlock when I was 18, but I'm hardly willing to wear that like a badge for the remainder of my adult life. Open eyes, wake up, become conscious, those are all the "non-primate" qualities we are supposed to empasize, right?

When did an 18 year old married woman become a "teenage mother", full stigma attached? Yes, she was technically still in her teens, but so what? It wasn't very long ago that being a wedded mother by age 18, or even 16, was considered normal. A woman waiting into her mid or late twenties to marry was an old maid. Just because Americans' childhoods now extend well into their twenties (or even 30s), that doesn't mean that Ann Dunham was not an adult capable of making her own decisions. Labeling her as a teen mom implies a youthful indiscretion leading to shame. Obama was well-loved, well-treated and well-educated, so why is anyone surprised that he turned out to be such a calm and self-assured person? I know a lot of mentally screwed-up people from stable, two parent, single race, comfortable families. Can we stop with the "teen mom = angry maladjusted kid" stereotype, for a change?

If Americans look to the past like Barack Hussein Obama is always doing ....then Obama wins and America will greatly suffer.

If Americans want to look to the future and stop dwelling on the past like McCain.....then McCain wins and America will start to revive.

An old wise man said once ... " You live in the past...you die in the past " ...this is the Obamabots downfall.

I was raised to respect other's opinion and to believe that most of us have good intentions in their heart, we just had different ways of getting theret. I also have considered myself a political moderate throughout my life and am a practicing Christian.

These past eight years I have watched with dismay as I the conservatives, not just the ones on the media but some of the people I know. became people I can't even talk to, much less respect their world view. They spew horrible venom and look for crazy things to believe about any candidate or person who opposed their views (Muslim, terrorist). They hate any kind of program that give s a hand up to those in need (healthcare, education). They spout complete nonsense and disbelief of science (global warming, stem cell research and, here in Colorado, a personhood amendment that makes a fertized egg a person). They truly believe they "were never given a handout, they worked for everything they have and those who don't have as much didn't work as hard. Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter are really representative of their views.

They have no gratitiude for the blessings that gave them a safe upbringing, good health, education and a good job that pays the bills with something left over. They have absolutely no sense of community. Their lives seem to be all about hate and fear, although most of them profess to be evangelical Christians. It's a truly scary, ugly way to look at the world.

Again, I've never really considered myself partisan until this election, but when I voted, I voted a straight Democratic ticket for the first time in my life. It's time for a change and I hope that enough people wake up that the crazies crawl back under their rocks.

Just read the postings below to see the contrast's in Mc Cain supporters and Obama supporters. Mc Cain and his supporters are aggressive, pushy, and down right dangerous. While Obama supporters seem to be gracious and issue oriented. IT IS TIME FOR CHANGE.

Redistribution, with the help of regressive tax policies lead by the Republicans, has been going on for years. How do you think the top 2% gained ownership of 52% of America? And why is that shift in ownership to the top 2% been growing faster than ever before? Maybe it has to something to do with the Regan Republican tax cuts for the super rich - they and their tax advisers understand the net-sum-game of taxation very well? The rantings are familiar, but not really correct or accurate.

Oh Anna....come on. As an educated woman yourself I am truly baffled that you are so blind as to who Obama is and what he intends to do. He is very clear about his intentions to take from the hard working and give to the lazy but yet the liberals seem love him. Do you remember the story of the hard working ant and the lazy grasshopper? Is that really what the liberals want? I don't get it!!

Obama advisor wants talks with terrorists

The revelations about Obama's relationship with Khalidi follows a recent WND article quoting Israeli security officials who expressed "concern" about Robert Malley, an adviser to Obama who has advocated negotiations with Hamas and providing international assistance to the terrorist group.

Malley, a principal Obama foreign policy adviser, has penned numerous opinion articles, many of them co-written with a former adviser to the late Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat, petitioning for dialogue with Hamas and blasting Israel for numerous policies he says harm the Palestinian cause.

Malley also previously penned a well-circulated New York Review of Books piece largely blaming Israel for the collapse of the Israeli-Palestinian negotiations at Camp David in 2000 when Arafat turned down a Palestinian state in the West Bank, Gaza and eastern sections of Jerusalem and instead returned to the Middle East to launch an intifada, or terrorist campaign, against the Jewish state.

Malley's contentions have been strongly refuted by key participants at Camp David, including President Bill Clinton, then-Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak and primary U.S. envoy to the Middle East Dennis Ross, all of whom squarely blamed Arafat's refusal to make peace for the talks' failure.
