    Contd)
Why does not America use its big muscles to find a reasonable resolution between Israel and Palestine in the logic of two sovereign states whose territories could be defined by international law recognising the legitimacy of Israel with the borders drawn up before 1967 and not as envisaged by the Zionist Israeli politicians and American Jewish Lobby: unilateral demarcation of Israel borders? The grabbing Zionists believe that they would be doing a big favour in giving what was left over after the breakfast to the Palestinians their sovereignty. President Elect Barack Obama has to retrain himself in the future by making impetus silly statements that Jerusalem as the eternal capital of Zionist Israel but should offer negotiations to resolve this thorny issue.

It is about time that the USA finds a new direction leading to peace and harmony in the world, and an end to blood shedding, blood letting, death and destruction and killing of hundreds of thousands of innocent men, women and children in the Muslim world. 1.87 billion Muslims are peace loving people and wish to live in peace and dignity in their homes and countries without the fear of being annihilated by cluster bombs, cruise missiles, F16s???, B52 bombers and by land invasion by the mighty tanks of Israel and USA. President Elect Barack Obama must stop behaving in future as the judge, jury and law of the universe and show humility, humbleness and wisdom when dealing with global sensitive political and diplomatic problems and issues. Mr Obama is a father and a parent, and should remember that it is the most painful and hurtful thing to see one???s children and loved ones perish in senseless wars, act of stomach atrocities of violence and ugly terrorism.

Do we need to recall that before the creation of state of Israel, the same land was inhabited by another people, which it knew was their home? It was the realization of the Zionist dream that created the Palestinian nightmare. This is the truth that will have to make its destined way into Israel???s consciousness. Israel should realize the fact that their country was created when Islam suffered the most unfavourable balance of power in its history. Why does not America use its influence to make Israel realize its moral wrongs, the dangers and harm done to the Palestinians? Barack Obama must address these issues with fair and impartial mind, throw away the opaque glasses made in Israel for the Zionist Israelis, prescribed by American Jewish Lobby and worn by every US administration from the time immemorial.

I enjoyed reading your article, Mr Zakria but I disagree with you that it was election boredom or the dubious and duplicitous tactics that lost the Republicans and John McCain the election. I believe that American electorate of every colour, race, origin, ethnicity, status and political affiliation were sick and tired, and fed up from eight years of President G W Bush???s abject political failures in Iraq and Afghanistan as well as inept handling of Hurricane Katrina, US finances that led US to economic disastrous recession and global economic collapse. American simply wanted a change as the British got wanted to kick out Margaret Thatcher.

One thing most certainly that John McCain resisted that ???I am not George Bush??? but forgot that he stood on the Republican platform, agenda and manifesto. It was not his dubious tactics or picking Sarah Palin as his running mate or her duplicitous religious morality that put off majority of the voters but it was G W Bush and his inept administration caused the Republican lose the election so ignominiously. John McCain was doomed on the day he was nominated on the republican ticket.

On the Other hand Barack Obama youthful exuberance, energy, vitality, sincerity and exorbitant intellect inspired almost every American except die-hard, thick-skull, white racists, neo-cons, fear and war mongers, and the Obama machine exploited it exceptionally efficiently. I also believe that besides his clarity of mind, skilful oratory, it was his sex appeal that attracted female voters to him as he tickled their fancy. Unfortunately, John McCain failed to raise the libido in the race and became impotent as the race progressed into the final laps.

President Bush used power that authorized him to be the judge and jury of the universe and decided to apply his principles of justice. The question of Iraq and Palestine point to the politics of duplicitous standards that his arrogance of justice expressed, which in turn fed rage of resentful men. Even the tragedy of 9/11 was not enough to open the eyes of America and enlighten its discernment about the reasons for the hatred it aroused. The fact of the matter is that even the tragic event of 9/11 was used by Bush administration for economic strategy in order to re-colonize the oil resources of the Middle East and Central Asia as well as Afghanistan.

i'm just glad the yanks proved me wrong. They did the smart thing: listened to reason, understood policies, recognized that the supremacist attitude of the republicans wont get them anywhere, didn't refer to a colour palate, and made the right choice on voting day! well done 'dudes'. probably the best decision you've made since you broke away from the mother land...

Arguing infavor of either of these two candidates is like arguing over the two last place teams and trying to decide which is better. We do not have the best choices this time. We have the creations of politcal campaigns run well. but , none the less, sill run by professional campaign staff. As for the candidates, each , in his own way, is a good speaker.
This has got to be McCains last bid at the apple tree. He should have won back in 2000. I believe we would have been better off with McCain then George Bush, especially after 9/11.
Barak seems to be picking at the tree a little early. It still comes up to experience, and even he, Barak, acknowledged he would have no experience if he were to run in 08. Well, it's 2008 and he was right. He has no experience. Want to talk bad about Palin sitting in the second chair position and having no experience, lets talk about Barak in fist chair and having no experience. Its like going to the superbowl and using a quaterback with limited college experience.

The standard is not whether he can walk on water, but rather whether he can tread water better than the conservative incompetents. The answer is a resounding YES. After Katrina, Iraq and the economic meltdown, there is no question about the conservative incompetence.

America and indeed the rest of the world seems to be at a cross road; serious economic crisis, global warming, multilateral versus unilateral actions, depleting resources, and unprecedented domestic and international issues! Put everything together and I could not agree more with what has been expressed by many others in America and outside America as the only solution to today???s world problems ??? Barack Obama being elected to the highest office in the world.

This is not to say McCain is any less experienced rather he is even a hero of his age and time! Yes, but not for today???s America, not for today???s world and indeed not for today???s problems. Chris Patten said it, Colin Powel said it, and you know what? You can ask any child and they will tell you the same!

Why? Because Obama does not only have the ability to bring about the necessary changes, but rather he himself it the change and that is required to bring back American people???s trust in their leaders, and the trust the world in America itself.

At this cross road, I would wish Americans will make the right choices and once for all elect Obama. Failure to do so will prove not only a lost opportunity, but also an unprecedented way forward for the entire world.

    America it is your call!

Really? You would want to eat glass than vote for a Democrat. Wow. Can you put that on Youtube and post the link? Or are you engaging in partisan hyperbole? Didn't John McCain reaching across the aisle teach you better?

Uh, has Obama ever broken with his own party? NO! Has he ever sponsored bi-partisan legislation? NO! Has he enacted ANY legislation? NO! His whole career has been about going-along to get along! And The One is such a "great leader", he voted "present" on 130 bills while in the Staee Senate, meaning he didn't have the guts - much less, the leadership - to vote "yeah' or "nay"!

And Palin has "limited experience and knowledge of the issues"? Palin runs the largest state in the Union! What the hell has The One ever run except his big, arrogant mouth?! Grow up!

What is most troubling in todays political climate is the promotion of hatred as a philosophy. The emergence of an ultraconservative dogma relies increasingly on the encouragement of mass hostility aimed at one group in particular - Americans with progressive political views. Liberals are spoken of with the kind of dripping contempt and virulent hostility that used to be associated with racism and sectarian religious strife. Liberals are viewed not fellow Americans citizens concerned with the future of their country, but as ideological enemies that need to be destroyed - and eaten if possible. This view is fundamentally anti-American.

This right-wing sect manifests a complete lack of empathy toward other Americans whom it defines as its ideological enemies. Its core beliefs are absolutely impervious to reason and are unleashing ugly and violent impulses. What makes their zeal so dangerous for our country is their willingness to do serious damage to our precious American Democracy in their quest for absolute power.

Wendy, in a way, you are correct, but if you look, honestly, at the situation, you will see that its on both sides, not just with the conservatives; neither side seems to have any tolerance for the other. Liberals are not wrong in wanting to avoid war---who doesn't? But, they are wrong in believing its, always, possible. This terrorist war we are fighting is worldwide, not just an American problem, and its completely different from anything we have ever experienced before; the enemies we have had to deal with before were, at least, "normal" (whatever that is), they could be understood, anyway, and we are, now, on good terms with them, after making peace concerning our differences, but these terrorist, who claim to be Muslin, are not interested in making peace, they want us dead---peroid. They want everyone who is not of their belief to die. Does that make sense to you? We, in most every country, have various religions who dwell peacefully with each other in the same country, the same neighborhoods, yet we do not try to kill them simply because the worship a different way! Most of us believe that one's faith and religious practices is a personal one between them and God---not between them and us. However, we do NoT try to kill anyone for what they believe, even if there are some religions who do try to convience us that they are the correct ones, and the rest of us are doomed if we don't change to their belief ststem, they don't threaten us for not doing so! Most religions are more civilized than that. But these terrorist are of a different breed, and trying to reason with them or making peace with them is not likely, but verbally attacking each other is certainly not the answer, either. That we feel they are wrong and we are right is not a valid reason, because, maybe we are both a bit wrong, and both a bit right, so maybe if we try to accept each other as fellow humans, fellow Americans, and try to understand where the other is coming from, might be the first step in being able to, then, understand our enemy, for how can we properly fight them, if we're fighting with each other? How can we hope to ever stop this insanity with outsiders, if we can't even stop it within our own country? I, admit, i do not trust Obama's plans for this country, it sounds too much like what was attempted in Russia, and we know how that ended, it sounds good in theory, but in reality will not work. McCain may not be perfect, but I trust him more to keep our freedon intact. Having said that, I respect your decision to vote your way on Tuesday, and may the best one win. Thats called freedom, may it always reign!

I would rather eat glass than to vote for any democrat living today! JFK and his brother, Bobby were the last of the true democrats, which may be why they were killed---to make way for the phoney ones to take over; the ones today who call themselves democrats, are nothing more than communist in designer suits. "Change", he says, "Distribute the wealth", but what kind ,of "change", and whose wealth will he be distributing? Sounds like the same thing the communist leader, either Marx or Lennon said when trying to instill communisum: "From each according to his ability, to each according to his need." Yeah, well, we saw how well that worked, the only ones benefitting were the leaders, not the people. Sounds good in theory, but in reality, does not work. He was born in 1962, was it? In Kenyon---not the U.S.A., so he is not even legaql to run for office. Still want to trust your lives to someone who will not even show his birth certificate, who wants you to turn over control of your lives to him and his government , someone who claims to be honest, but it has been proven he lied about only "experimenting with drugs as a "troubled" teenager, but someone from his past claimed to, not only have done drugs with him as late as 1997, when he was a full grown adult, but , said he had a homosexual relationship with him, as well. Still want this person to control your life, and your money? Your life, your choice. The other candidate may not walk on water, but neither does this one, and I will choose who to put my trust in, and who I believe will not attempt to control me, but will allow me to make my own decisions.

Comment: Hear Obama and Clinton for yourself, in their own words wothout the filter of someone elses opinion..

    Bill Clinton says so. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XsynspIqAoE

Obama in this video, addressing his community activist work and his work representing ACORN in litigation against the banks and relating to the Community Reinvestment Act, and addressing the failure of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae as those actions relate to the destruction of our economy by causing the current real estate and subsequent financial crisis, states that, and I quote:

"Subprime lending started out as a good idea, helping Americans buy homes who previously could not afford to. Financial institutions created new financial instruments that could securitize these loans, slice them into finer and finer risk categories, and spread them out among investors and around the country, as well as around the world. In theory, this should have allowed mortgage lending to be less risky, and more diversified."

Acknowledging the catastrophe, but as apologist for the Democrats, Obama then offers this justification.

"The original idea was a good one, which was, lets see if we can distribute risk more broadly, and make it easier to provide loans to people who otherwise might not be able to get one."

Yah, great idea. Economically unsound, but embraced by Obama. Listen for yourself. You cannot dispute the mans on words recorded live:

Two central issues in the election Barack Obama is wrong and misleading:

    1) No tax increases to those earning $250,000 or less promised by Obama, then he
lowered this figure to $200,000, then the "Gift that keeps on Giving" Joe Biden says
the number is $150,000 and just yesterday Gov. Bill Richardson says the figure is
$120,000 ...and now a videotape is disclosed where it shows Obama recently stated
that in the interest of fairness with taxes is around $80,000.00!!
Sounds like good old fashion Democratic ???reverse auction ???tax policy they implement
after they break their campaign promise to the American people.

    2) On national security ...Obama???s own VP running mate Joe Biden ... ???mark my words,
this guy Obama is going to be tested by a generated international crisis within 6
months of his Presidency..I guarantee it??? Obama will meet with USA's enemies with
    no pre-conditions!
John McCain???s surge strategy in Iraq is working and its saving the lives of young
American men and women in uniform serving there...Obama won't admit to this day
the surge is working and he voted to cut funding for these military forces !!

John McCain is Commander-In-Chief material ....Obama is just a cardboard "cut-out"
    candidate of the DNC.

    • Posted By: epryor @ 11/01/2008 4:40:12 PM

A promise of "no increases in taxes" is different than a promise of a tax cut. You can say that no one who makes under $250,000 will see no tax increases, while moving the number of people who will get tax cuts to $150,000.

How to bring down a democracy: the steps toward totalitarian rule, in the order followed by Hitler and the Nazi Party SEE IF THEY SOUND FAMILIAR.

    1. Improvise an attack (or take advantage of an attack) on the country
    2. Declare the country under attack by an enemy; real or improvised
    3. Force legislation that limits civil liberties and gathers broad powers unto government
    4. Brand dissenters and peacemakers as unpatriotic and browbeat them into submission
    5. Keep the fear factor high to make the public easier to manage
    6. Institute massive propaganda campaigns using state-controlled no-longer-free media and fear of government retribution
    7. Law enforcement and government personnel are used to spy on, control and break dissent 7. Institute the equivalent of a national homeland security department, overseen by one person with unlimited powers
    8. Confiscate all firearms from the citizenry
    9. Institute the mass murder and imprisonment of any who resist the new ideology.
    10. Launch pre-emptive strikes into other countries in an attempt to spread the new ideology

Sound familiar? It should, its not only the direct path of Hitlers rise to power, but also parallels the events starting with and following 9/11. President Bush was very familiar with the game plan, as his Grandfather and his Grandfathers father-in-law were supporters of Hitler and Nazism, both before and after the war.

Of course, theyve skipped a couple of the items on the list, but theyll get to them if theyre allowed to remain in power, because it will be the only way for them to retain power.

The Reichstag Fire: the funeral pyre of German democracy parallels 9/11 and the loss of American civil liberties

THE BEST REASON TO VOTE FOR BARACK OBAMA THIS ELECTION YEAR

    • Posted By: Nowforsomemoretruth @ 11/01/2008 1:31:03 PM

Now that we know Obama has PLO buddies, no thanks to the LA Times, looks like maybe Jesse Jackson knows a good bit more about Obama's politics than the national media does, or JewsForObama for that matter.
      "Press Releases
AJC Strongly Condemns Rev. Jesse Jacksons Comment on American Jews
October 14, 2008 - New York - The American Jewish Committee (AJC) has condemned the Rev. Jesse Jackson's statement about "Zionists who have controlled American policy for decades."
"Rev. Jackson's remarks, which appeared in an interview with the journalist Amir Taheri in today's New York Post, echo classic anti-Semitic conspiracy theories about Jewish power," said AJC Executive Director David A. Harris. "This statement, regrettably, is not the first troubling comment by Rev. Jackson regarding Israel, Zionism and the Jewish people.
Arguing as a private citizen that an Obama administration could bring significant change to U.S. foreign policy, Jackson was quoted as saying that "Zionists who have controlled American policy for decades" would lose much of their influence should Senator Obama be elected president."

Sounds a good bit more like Hitler to me. Isn't this the same Democrat leader who once called New York "Hymietown" ?

    • Posted By: star3 @ 10/31/2008 11:46:06 PM

Wendy, what would it profit Bush to do all you claim, when he could only remain in office for eight years? In order for this kind of political power to stay in effect or for it to benefit the originator, the president would have to remain in office permanently, and have a lot of protection, because, as a whole, the American people are very smart, and they catch on really fast to anything that threatens their rights, so any president who tried to do this type of "change" would not be in office long enough for it to even get off the ground. He would be impeached in a heartbeat. Germany, in the era Hitler was able to mesmerize so many, was a different type of era than the one we live in, they were looking for someone to deliver them from the terrible situation they were in, so Hitler happened on the scene at the perfect time to convince many of the German people he would "fix" all their problems, he looked around for a scapegoat to blame for all the economic & political problems the country was having, and---Bingo! The Jews were made to appear to be the cause of all the problems Germany was having. And, we all know the results of Hitler's plan. Yes, this does sound familiar, doesn't it, but not from the current president; it sounds familiar because there is one who is running for that office as we speak, who is making wild promises, and claiming to be able to "fix" all our problems. He wants "change", but mever gives any details of the type of change3 he plans, except to say he is going to "distribute the wealth", but the wealth he plans to distribute does not belong to him, it belongs to the hard working people who earned their wealth by living the American dream, that if you work hard, persevere, and stay focused, they could accomplish anything---and they did, now they are told they have to share their hard earned wealth with those who did not earn it, mthose who stayed poor due to uneducation, or just pure laziness, so do you want to be forced to give up part of your money to people who did not earn it?! If you think this will not directly affect you, you are very wrong, it will affect all of us, and in a negative way, I can promise you. If you choose to give part of your money to someone, or to wipe your butt with it, that should be YOUR choice, YOUR decision---not the governments. Some banks are already preparing for the worse if this man gets elected. The other candidate's plan may be a bit slower, but its one that will work---for all of us, and will continue working. Please---don't make the wrong decision, don't go for the candy that looks good on the surface, but inside is hollow and worthless. Thank you for listening.

    Mr. Zakaria,

With all due respect, you like most Obama supporters make a weak case for Obama being president. Your choice is an emotional one as well. Obama may appear cool under pressure but that's because he is an attorney and a smoker. John McCain is by far the better man for the presidency. His ideas may sound old but they work, that is why he stands by them. Mr Obama's socialist ideas have not helped Western Europe and they will not help the US either. Let the biased media, liberal elite stand aside while american voters make their decision.

Your campaign advisor & "Transition Chief" William Timmons was a Saddam Hussein lobbyist for 5 years.
You pal around with Gordon Liddy, domestic terrorist.
You are a member of "The Project for a New American Century" - a radical extremist terrorist organization.
Your VP candidate's husband Todd Palin is a domestic terrorist in the Alaskan Independence Party.
You accuse Obama of knowing Rashid Khalidi, yet you yourself have given Rashid Khalidi & the PLO $500,000.00!!! So by your logic, if Obama is a terrorist sympathizer like you claim, then you Senator McCain are a state spronsor of terrorism. You are, by your own twisted logic, a terrorist by your own admittance.
You have met with Chilean Dictator Pinochet, a terrorist.
You're coordinated effort to use FOX NEWS, the Bush Administration, your campaign, Sarah Palin, and The Justice Department to commit voter fraud, voter intimidation, & voter suppression is an act of terrorism.

John McCain you are a disgrace to your uniform.

Jesus lover-----??? Hummm...for someone who claims to be a Jesus lover, you sure are biased against a fellow christian. But thats neither here not there. My question for you, J.L., is how much are you getting paid to post this crap? Probably not enough to make it worthwhile. And who is the benefactor of all this nonsense, as if we don't know....so, J.L, I ask you, as one Christian to another, can you search your heart and still post these type of phoney claims? Watch it, you could be sued for libel. McCain is an honorable man, whose plans for our country are workable plans, the other candidate's are not plans that will work in the long range, they are hollow promises to get himself elected, and I am completely in shock and embarrased for the American people who follow this false "messiah" like lambs to the slaughter. The Messiah came to us over 2000 years ago, and his name was Jesus---not Barack. He will come again, and I would not want to be in your shoes or those who cling to the fake one, while denying the truth when He makes his second appearance. May He have mercy on you and all of us. I am a supporter of the truth, may it always reign, and just as the song says: Let freedom ring, let your voices sing, let the whole world know, its a day of reckoning, let the weak be strong, let the terrorist be wrong, roll the stone away, let the guilty pay, its independance day! Its coming, people, better make your choice now, and pray its the correct one. Remember, Hitler was, also, a great speaker, and capable of mesmerizing people, but we all know how that ended. Think!

Study finds Media has Betray Trust of American People
    Newsweek Article:
Study: Media coverage has favored Obama campaign
Study finds comments on evening newscasts over the past two months favored the Obama campaign

"For whatever reason, the media are portraying Barack Obama as a better choice for president than John McCain," said Robert Lichter, a George Mason University professor and head of the center. "If you watch the evening news, you'd think you should vote for Obama."

"A former Newsweek reporter admitted in an article this week that he has no objectivity and imagined disabling Rudy Giuliani so he wouldn't run in the presidential primary race last year.
Michael Hastings wrote in GQ magazine that he had a "recurring fantasy" that he could somehow stop the former New York City mayor in his tracks.
"I quickly realized Rudy was a maniac. I had a recurring fantasy in which I took him out during a press conference (it was nonlethal, just something that put him out of commission for a year or so), saving America from the horror of a President Giuliani. If that sounds like I had some trouble being 'objective,' I did. Objectivity is a fallacy," he said."

Barack Obama's campaign killed all interviews with a Florida TV station after Sen. Joe Biden, the Democratic vice presidential nominee, faced tough and critical questions from a reporter at the Orlando station, the Orlando Sentinel reported .
"This cancellation is non-negotiable, and further opportunities for your station to interview with this campaign are unlikely, at best for the duration of the remaining days until the election," wrote Laura K. McGinnis, Central Florida communications director for the Obama campaign, according to the Sentinel.
