I've got a few more good reasons why he doesn't want to bring it up ---

What about the fact that McCain had denounced Jerry Falwell for his hate-speech - only to later suck up to him when he needed to pander to the extreme evangelical right -
    http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/story?id=1779141 -

to say nothing of Palin's Pentecostal witch hunting church - and Pastor Thomas Muthee's bizarre prayer over Palin herself - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iwkb9_zB2Pg&feature=related

and what about the bigot Pastor Arnold Conrad who just delivered this 'prayer' at their rally last week ?!? http://thinkprogress.org/2008/10/11/invocation-davenport/

I think that the reason McCain won't bring up Wright is because of all the ways that Sarah Palin's church affiliations could be even more embarassing. At least Obama wasn't in a ceremony where they were praying to get rid of witches! Palin's church associations are far more disturbing to me than Obama's--no matter how uncomfortable I feel about Wright--he is not nearly as upsetting as what Palin has been doing in her pentacostal church in Alaska.

McCain has gone more than negative. He brings up Wright and subjects himself to the same allegations about cozying up to nefarious god people, except in his case white

Oh, McCain, if only you could have extended your honor a little further. You may have won my vote. You were absolutely right in your view of the Obama-Wright relationship and why it shouldn't be considered a talking point. But then you allowed your cronies to persist on the Ayers-Obama smears. Because he wasn't black. So I guess it's ok try to link your opponent to terrorists, but that bashing another black man was going to make you look racist.

Don't worry, he will still do it. He is that kind of man. If he does not, there is another reason, of which we do not know. Maybe it will mean we will look where we have not yet and find something detrimental to him.

This article fails to mention that the real reason McCain won't bring up Reverend Wright is that Sarah Palin belongs to an extremist church that makes the good Rev. Wright look like a boy scout.

Palin belongs to a fundamentalist church that believes the end of the world is near: that war, financial distress and famine will kill off the sinful non-believers, and that when this holocaust occurs all good Christians will be taking refuge in Alaska. Furthermore, her church conducts witch hunts -- they actually use prayer to locate "witches" in their community, then publicly brand them as witches, and hold them responsible for everything that goes wrong in town. (Honestly, I think the long winters must be getting to their minds.) You can go on YouTube and watch videos of Palin participating during sermons like this. She stands on the altar facing the members. The congregation stands with outstretched hands, trancelike, speaking in tongues while the priest prays to "keep Sarah safe from all forms of witchcraft."

Could America REALLY feel comfortable knowing that a woman who holds these beliefs would have the power to declare war and deploy nuclear missiles?

Lest you labor under the mistaken belief that all black people favor Obama....

To Concerned Canadian, Obama is NOT a Muslim. Either you just don't pay attention to the facts, or you love to perpetuate lies!

Are the Republicans and John McCain trying to take away our democracy by preventing or invalidating people to vote. What can we doe to make sure our vote counts.

    Very concerned Katie

Is the republicans ie John McCain Campaign trying to destroy our democratic voting right to win the election. What can every citizen do to prevent our voting rights from being taken away.

  • Posted By: Concerned Canadian @ 10/18/2008 8:32:04 PM

Last time I checked...John McCain does not spell George Bush ....I guess Obama can't spell either because its above his " pay grade ".
McCain is a war hero and Obama is a Muslim zero. I'll take the war hero all the time !!

  • Posted By: Concerned Canadian @ 10/18/2008 7:59:07 PM

John McCain will expose the dirt on Barack Hussein Obama on the last couple of days before the election.
If John McCain brings up Rev Wright at this time , he will be chastized by the Obama camp and all the major left-wing Marxist nut jobs media networks who are just a big propaganda machine for the Socialist underground movement and McCain will also be branded a racist because heaven forbid anyone who says anything thats harmful but true about the precious Messiah. Has America gone whacky or something ?

    THE GREAT BUSH DEPRESSION
I follow an economist named Bob Proctor. He has called the top and bottom of every market crash since the 70s correctly.
He perfectly predicted the current meltdown and the picture he paints about what will happen next
is terrifying. He thinks it will be worse then the great depression.
The banks in the U.S. are going under one after the other. Countrywide ,Bear Stearns, Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch , Fanny and Freddy Mae ,AIG
The government took them over because they are bankrupt. Even with the goverment nationalizing hundreds of billions of dollars in debt the stock market is crashing
the credit markets are frozen and all of us may suffer beyond anything seen in generations
McCain just like Bush " doesn't understand the economy".
That not just my opinion its his own words. Not only does he not understand how to fix it but he does not understand how its been broken.
It is no surprise that he doesn't. The people that make up these securities use quantum mathematical models very few people understand.
Bush and McCain both can take the credit for this mess since they helped deregulate the laws that were protecting us.
Bush's economic advisor Phil Graham wrote the deregulation bill that allowed banks to take huge risks with all of our future.
Now, Phil Graham is the head of McCain's economic policy. He is also McCain's choice for the next secretary of the treasury.
No one in this country can afford for that to happen. The last time Bush met with his economic advisors was in March. He was the last to know somthing was wrong. Phil Graham had the guts to say that we are in a mental recession after he helped create the worst economy meltdown in our lifetime. Check out this link to the truth http://my.barackobama.com/keatingvideo
It will take the best and brightest minds in the world to get us out of this nightmare. As bad as Bush has done, McCain would be
even more destructive because things are in much worse shape. The next president will not inherit a budget surplus like Bush did but a crashing economy and a 11,600,000,000,000 (trillion) dollars deficit. Most of it Bush created and it will take decades to pay it back.
If you do what you have always done then you will get what you have always got.
When it comes to policy Bush and McCain are the same 90 percent of the time.
So why are the polls even close then ?
Mccains team just said they no longer want to talk about the economy.Instead they would like to spend time talking about obama
which means running the biggest smear campaign in history.
They think they can just tell you lies and you wont be smart enough to see through it
Let's teach him we are smarter than that
Stand up and hold them accountable
Bush isn't on the ballot this year but his policies are
    Elect Obama Biden 2008

John McCain should do the right thing and dump Palin.Do you really think she could handle that 3AM phone call? Get real, even top GOP's are calling for her to step aside. With this at hand, how can you really think his past mentor has anything to do with whats is now at hand. Get a life and If I were your boss, I would tell you to get a new job.
