    Recent pronouncements about autism remain a source of concern for me. Our journey as a family of autism has been a tumultuous one. I would never discount attention to the very disease that has consumed our lives, however negative attention is suspicious, and counterproductive.
    What smacks of opportunism relates to the comedians, actors, shock jocks and even politicians that have used autism as the it word for recognition.

    Exactly sista, If you have a child with Autism, your on your own, and if he's healthy, theyll hand him a gun.

    Kristina said she knew nothing about autism before she had a son with it, I was wondering just how she expected John McCain to know all about it? No he probably doesn't know what all the differents's are between all the different things that effect children BUT he wants to help ALL not just autism children. Why is the newsweek only write what looks good for Obama and bad for McCain? are you taking sides in your news reporting...
