until you have been to china or india you dont know what your talking about...those 2 countries may supply the united states with alot of produced goods, but the over population in both countries is staggering...ive been to both, ive seen both the wealthy areas, and the poverty stricken...both places are in dire straits...and its been that way for some time.

This article should simply show ten pictures of the United States from space. With by far the highest greenhouse gas emissions of any country, it's refusal to sign the Kyoto protocol, and by consuming 25 % of the world's produced goods the U.S is by far the world's worst polluter. Not only does the country produce more pollution than any other country it indirectly increases world-wide pollution by demanding products from other countries which construct environmentally unfriendly factories to supply this demand. Stop showing dirty streets in India, and pictures of outhouses insinuating that these are the problems while the real perpetrator is the country we inhabit.

If every government would levy pollution taxes equal to the net cost to the economy of the health effects it causes, it would nearly disappear. If people came out and threw their trash and relieved themselves in the middle of the streets they'd be arrested, but polluters get a pass.
