Amazing, that this article covers every conceivable eventuality but the most obvious game changer of all. Bin Laden is caught or killed between now and the election. Better yet ............ the military has already caught Bin Laden and has him stashed somewhere. Bush flies in, and is filmed killing BL in hand to hand fight. He turns to the camera and says ..... "that's for the American people, and for the next president of the United States, John McCain." Bush redeems his entire 8 years and hands the torch to the next Republican president and says "finish the job for me John."

New NBC/ WSJ poll shows that Palin is a BIGGER drag on the Republican ticket than George Bush. Wow! How does one even do that? Very impressive.

McCain said clearly about Bin Laden: I KNOW HOW TO GET HIM.

If he really knows, how come he has NOT told Bush and the rest of this country?

If he knows, it is despicable that he is keeping it to himself.

If he does NOT know, then IT IS A BALD FACE LIE to simply pander for votes.

Is this what McCain calls putting country first? Or is this just putting John McCain first?

Another question. Since I vote Democratic and don't live in one of Palin's 'pro-American' parts of the country, do i have to take down my American flag?

Bin Laden's re-emergence this time would help, not hurt Obama. It would remind people that Bush/McCain didn't catch him. And, if McCain knows how to catch him, why didn't he tell someone and get him? What's the secret, McSnarly?

    • Posted By: Latino44million @ 10/21/2008 5:15:29 PM

Exactly! It will remind me that Obama will be meeting with him without precondition, something we have not done in the last eight years!

Your ability to quote the GOP talking points and phrases verbatim is uncanny.

        BRAVO!!

BTW, what does "without preconditions" mean?

        • Posted By: sharenews @ 10/21/2008 7:53:09 PM

I dont know about Obama with his idea of meeting w/o preconditions (doesnt sound smart to me), but it does look like IRAN wouldnt meet with the US unless they had THEIR own preconditions in place:

Iran's Vice President Sets Two Preconditions for Talks with US

TEHRAN (FNA)- Vice President for Media Affairs Mehdi Kalhor said on Saturday that Iran has set two preconditions for holding talks with the United States of America.

In an exclusive interview with the Islamic Republic News Agency, he said as long as U.S. forces have not left the Middle East region and continues its support for the Zionist regime, talks between Iran and U.S. is off the agenda.

It is the Americans who are in dire need of reestablishing ties with Iran, he underlined.

Iran is not obliged to reestablish ties with the U.S., he said.

"If they take our advice, grounds for such talks would be well prepared," he said.

It is stupidity to hold talks without any change in U.S. attitude, he underlined.

I'm very aware of what preconditions are. The question was geared toward the specific blogger who does everything but explain his positions.

But thanks Share. How're your candidates doing?

But at least if Obama does win Colin Powell will be in the mix somewhere breathing down Obamas neck at times. I think I heard he would fill some position if Obama wins. Did you hear that?

                Hey share,

Obama did state that if he wins then Gen. Powell will have a place in his administration. Have you heard anthing about Sen. Clinton having a position? She should be included and I sincerely hope that she is as she would bring a lot to the table.

LATEST ON ATTY. P.J. Berg, Esq, suing Obama, the DNC and the FEC:

Here is a Professional documentary video - Interview with well-known attorney in Philadelphia, Philip J. Berg, Esq, who explains the concerns he has about Obama not being a natural born U.S. Citizen (making him ineligible for the presidency) and goes into much details as to WHY he believes this is the case:

BACKGROUND ON PHILIP J. BERG, ESQ.- Suing Barack Obama, the Democratic National Committee and the Federal Election Committee. Currently awaiting the judge???s response to said lawsuit filed. Mr. Berg is set to go in front of the U.S. Supreme Courth with this lawsuit if need be. My question is, why doesn???t Obama just present the necessary paperwork in front of this attorney cuz he said he would not pursue a lawsuit if he did this. Why wont Obama just honor the request? BTW, the site FACTCHECK where his birth certificate is posted as being official is owned by the Annanberg Foundation which we all know Obama is connected to from his past - sounds like a conflict of interest here. Watch the video - Bergs arguement is well presented.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pWTs1YyhFRg&feature=related

    Background on Attorney P.J. Berg:

    * Practicing Attorney for 37 years in State of Pennsylvania
    * Former Deputy Attorney General of Penn
    * Lifelong democratic 31 years as a committee person
    * Chairman of the Democratic Party Montgomery County, PA
    * Member of the Democratic State Committee for 8 years
    * Candidate on the Democratic ticket throughout Penn in the office of Governor and US Senate

Haresmears! Hey, 'sup, buddy? Up to the old half truth tricks, I see. In the bio of Mr. Berg, did you mention the following about this gentleman? Probably not, huh?

(Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania - 01/04/07) - Philip J. Berg, Esquire, [Berg is a former Deputy Attorney General of Pennsylvania; former candidate for Governor and U.S. Senate; an attorney with offices in Montgomery County, PA and an active practice in Philadelphia, PA, who prior hereto has filed a RICO lawsuit against Bush and others for the events of 9/11 and plans to re-file shortly] announced today that he was issuing a call for world leaders to arrest and try Bush and Cheney for the global crimes of 9/11/01.

Philip J. Berg, Esquire stated in a letter to the nations throughout the world:

"It is time for the nations of the world to come forth and take the leadership because of the failure of the United States Government and the States where crimes were committed on 09/11/01, where no thorough investigation and indictments occurred, to investigate, arrest and prosecute the people responsible for the murders on 9/11/01, specifically including George W. Bush and Richard Cheney."

Hey, smears, don't go away mad. I imagine it took time to put together that background bio, carefully constructed to make Mr. Berg look like a paragon of society. Funny that he turns out to be Mr.Nutjob, huh? Excuse me, I mean Mr. Nutjob, Esq.
Anyways it isn't my fault that you did such shoddy research. That must be what it was, right? Surely, you were not being intentionally deceitful, again......

        • Posted By: sharenews @ 10/22/2008 8:02:37 PM

          Neos,
I got the mini-bio that I posted above from the video / link I posted. There was no mention of his other lawsuit you mention involving 911 and Bush, and I wasnt aware of it to begin with. If there is such a lawsuit all fine and dandy with me cuz anything that can be done to this Administration to destroy them (in a legal manner) to make up for this being the worst admin. ever is okay with me. Im sure this attorney has dealt with controversial cases worse than that in his 37 years as an attorney. . BTW, the first time I heard of this guy (Berg) was when he made a press release saying he was suing Obama, DNC and FEC. This ridiculous pursuit of trying to discredit me and accuse me of deceipt doesnt work with me cuz you see, I post the facts, and provide the links to all articles I post and for others to access in their own minds what they think or not about such postings. Nice try, though.

          • Posted By: neos @ 10/22/2008 8:14:55 PM

So, what you are saying hetre is that you will pass along any piece of claptrap nonsense without researching the source first. I bet you love Larry Sinclair, too. Not a very credible person are you? But, if it makes you feel happier, I'll retract the 'deceitful' charge on this one and we will both admit that you are just easily duped. There, happy?

        • Posted By: sharenews @ 10/22/2008 7:49:48 PM

Still doesnt get away from the fact that Obama, the DNC and the FEC are being pursued in this lawsuit by a well-known, accomplished attorney. Like I said in my other post above, why doesnt Obama, et al, just present the requested document(s) to this attorney to review and it would all be dropped if the said docs are produced? I gotta say that it does make one doubt the legitimacy of his birthplace if he does not honor the request. What would be the harm? Guess we will see if all this will blow ove or not (he still plans on pursing it, following him into the White House if he wins). Say what you want to discredit him, but the judge has the case in his hands now and this guy will go to the US Supreme Court to pursue. Like I say, just shut this guy up and show him his official docs. That is all he needs to do.

          • Posted By: neos @ 10/22/2008 8:08:35 PM

well-known, accomplished attorney?? Well he is well known but not for being an accomplished attorney. LOL Got to give you an A for effort in ginning up his bio, but an F in ethics for being deceitful.. You knew all about his .looney toon past, didn't ya?
To answer your question with a question. Why don't Cheney and Bush turn themselves into a neutral country for trial as war criminals like Mr Nutjob desires. That way they could clear up the question of their guilt once and for all. Well.....
Keep chasing your tail on this one. Too funny really. In truth, I should be thanking you. It's conspiracy nuts like you that drive the independents and moderate repubs away from McCain's campaign..

        Obamas Global Tax
By INVESTORS BUSINESS DAILY | Posted Tuesday, July 29, 2008 4:20 PM PT

A plan by Barack Obama to redistribute American wealth on a global level is moving forward in the Senate. It follows Marxist theology - from each according to his ability, to each according to his need. We are citizens of the world, Sen. OBAMA TOLD THOUSANDS OF NONVOTING GERMANS during his recent tour of the MIDDLE EAST and EUROPE. And if the Global Poverty Act (S. 2433) he has sponsored becomes law, which is almost certain if he wins in November, WE are also going to be TAXPAYERS OF THE WORLD.

In this series, we examine Senator Obama's past, his voting record and the people who've served as his advisers and mentors over the years. We'll show how the facts of Obama's actions and associations reveal a far more left-leaning tilt to his background - and to his politics.

Dear Sharenews: I think that this is such a myopic view, spurned by fears rather than facts, ignorance rather than reason and selfishness rather than hope. I would not go far to say that Americans as a psychological entity are insular, in fact what makes this comment about the redistribution of American wealth so unfortunate is that American tax payer dollars are already sponsoring so many worthwhile efforts globally, an effort that did not begin with Obama, but in fact began when this age and the men in this age were endowed with an enlightened vision of the human condition. America has earned the envy and admiration and fear from different quarters of the world, because of its abundant wealth and power. When you are in a position of strength you must naturally assume a leadership position, and it is at times a very difficult and thankless duty but this is what it has meant to be American for so many generations. Is not sacrifice a republican ideal? Try and transcend your morbid and narrow minded view and perhaps look at the world as it really is not as you fear it to be.

Anyway that I look at this. . . it is socialism in the making . . . if Obama is elected and pursues plans such as those I posted above that he plans to implement in this country. I'd like to see coverage of this.

Obama's membership within the 'New Party' is disturbing as even Green Party members attacked the DSA and New Party as nothing more than a fringe group. The New Party had hoped to implement Socialist Rule in the United States and was established to counteract the influence of a Democratic Party that they viewed as too moderate and too centered. Now it seems that nearly 10 years after the socialist party fell apart, their strategy of upward growth has reached the White House. Obama's ties to the DSA's New Party is beyond just an association it is outright membership, as clearly defined by the parties August 1996 newsletter, in an outright Socialist organization.

Who "Joe the plumber" may be is not the issue, though it's easy to see why the Dems want it to be. That's because the real issue is what Obama's comments to him revealed about Obama. In the exchange with "Joe the plumber" we find out that Obama really is as radical as his early political acquaintances, Davis, Ayers, Wright, etc., and that he is into the failed economic policy of wealth redistribution. Obama's tax and spending plans alone would be bad enough, but add Reid and Pelosi to the mix, with the three of them controlling both houses of Congress and the executive branch without any effective restraint, and you have something that should causes concern even among moderate Democrats.
See Wall Street Journal: A Liberal Supermajority:

    http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122420205889842989.html

And whether McCain won or lost the third debate is also not relevant. He succeeded in the first half hour to plant the seeds of a Reagan style wipeout. Reputable historians and economists overwhelmingly agree that the taxation imposed by Hoover and FDR, and the "stimulus" spending and public works programs of FDR, actually deepened and prolonged the Great Depression. It was the production demands of WWII that got the economy going again. And when the war was over, the economy promptly went into recession.

    See e.g. http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/10/03/opinion/main4499465.shtml
    And
    http://newsroom.ucla.edu/portal/ucla/FDR-s-Policies-Prolonged-Depression-5409.aspx

Point is, Obama's programs require him to tax, and his health care plan is a hidden tax on all business, large an small. In reality, it does not really matter who he taxes, those taxes are going to be passed through the economy. He has to tax, because it is they only way he can pay for his massive social engineering experiments. Any first year economics student knows that taxation is a tool used to contract an economy experiencing inflation, because it reduces demand by reducing the amount of money individuals and businesses have to spend. It is contractionary, which is exactly what you do not want to do when the problem is that the economy is contracting already into recession. Like Hoover and FDR, Obama's plans will only make it worse for longer.

    Don't worry Mr. Alter,
I don't think it will happen. Mr. Obama already sent a message to Bin laden. Here is the coded message:

    Osama Bin Laden
    Obama Bi (nla) den

So, don't worry. There won't be any Al Qaeda attack or tape before the upcoming US election. Just watch.

By the way, I am Spaniard. Thanks for bringing up the terrible attack we suffered prior to our national election.

The similarities in Obama-Bi (nla) den / Osama Bin Laden is not something I am jocking about. The Spanish Intelligence Services got a real lecture on it through their "moles" in Al Qaeda.
And if I may, I should remain all of your readers that Spain is the main Al Qaeda base in Europe.

Wow, you know, you may just have something. They must have planted Biden 60+ years ago! They've been planning this THAT long! Wow, I can't believe more people haven't caught on! And Obama went to Harvard as part of this whole master terrorism plan!!!
Seriously. These crazy conspiracy theories are what's killing you guys in this election.

Not just this election. It is this 'thinking' which is killing the republican party. Not for nothing have Kathleen Parker, Christopher Buckley, Colin Powell and others abandoned their candidate. Paranoid hate-mongers and evangelical Christians remain in the fold. What kind of combination is that??

I cant help but wonder that McCain is thankful that Powell endorsed Obama. I like and respect Powell as a person but as a politician and as a military man, he was part if not the main reason for going to war. When you have a great general by your side as Bush did, wouldnt you trust him? They both trusted the WMD intelligence they had in front of them. So what makes Powell better than Bush..... could it be because he now endorsed Obama? Even great people make mistakes, but for Powell that's two major mistakes: war and Obama.

Powell was the voice of sanity in the Bush cabal. He argued against the war, but ever the good soldier he saluted and followed his commander's lead. He prophetically said if we' break it then we own it.' Well we broke it all right. Trying to tear down Powell because he finds the far right of his party distasteful is pathetic. And he is not alone as my original post pointed out (and you ignored). A host of prominent and well-respected conservatives are deeply troubled by the turn this campaign has taken.

The democrats had done a great job of tearing down Powell's reputation in the last few years. And wow, now that he endorsed Obama, he is finally well respected by the democrats. How hypocritical is that.

Surely it's time to stop perpetrating this nonsense about the Spanish 2004 elections. The reason the Socialists won is that a large number of Spanish voters overturned the likely outcome of the election because the conservative Popular Party were caught out in a blatant lie. For their own electoral purposes they insisted during the three days leading up to the election that the outrage was committed by the Basque terrorist group ETA, not by an Islamist terror group. The voters threw out the Popular Party for attempting to manipulate the election. A perceptive electorate and, perhaps, a lesson for any Americans who are interested in the truth.

This was untrue and they were duly punished at the polls. A lesso, hopefully, for the Americans.

It is surprising that you actually believe that there is still a terrorist out there who will attack the U.S. Isn't it safe to say that after eight years of killing anything that moves in the Middle East, that most so-called terrorists are dead if not busy.
