One positive note on an Obama Presidency. America will end its blind support of Israel. Obama will equalize relations with Muslim and Arab Nations. We will no longer anger 1.2 Billion Muslims for the sake of 6 Million Jews in Israel. This has made no sense. Time to repair the damage done by the UN error in 1948 even if that means a total relocation of Israelis to Miami. This is the only way to assure peace in the region. President Obama will meet with Ahmadinajead and offer to end US Blind support of Israel in exchange for their ending the nuclear program. Thats all the Iranians want . President Obama should appoint Minister Farrahkan as an Ambassador to the Muslim World. Stop letting AIPAC and people like Jonathan Alter manipulate American policy.

    McCAIN HEALTH IN QUESTION...............

The Armed Forces pathologists suggested that the left-temple melanoma had spread from another melanoma, known as a metastasis or satellite lesion. ???The vertical orientation of this lesion,??? the report said, ???with only focal epidermal involvement above it is highly suggestive of a metastasis of malignant melanoma and may represent a satellite metastasis of S00-9572-A,??? which is the ???skin, left temple, lateral??? biopsy.

The pool report was by nature unable to provide a complete portrait of Mr. McCain???s recent medical history. It left several questions, including about the number of biopsies and when they were done. On Aug. 18, 2000, Dr. John D. Eckstein, Mr. McCain???s personal physician at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, noted in Mr. McCain???s records that there were two biopsies of the left temple. Dr. Eckstein???s note did not say where and when the biopsies were performed. The Armed Forces report cited one biopsy, so presumably a second was performed in Scottsdale. The Armed Forces pathologists said a melanoma had developed over a skin scar whose origin was unclear..........

The Armed Forces pathologists did not speak in the teleconference in May 2008, and questions raised by their report have remained unanswered. The selected reporters did not ask about that report, and the Mayo Clinic doctors did not discuss it. A complete Mayo pathology report was apparently not included in the pool summary...........

If Mr. McCain???s 2000 left-temple melanoma was a metastasis, as the Armed Forces pathologists??? report suggested, it would be classified as Stage III. The reclassification would change his statistical odds for survival at 10 years from about 60 percent to 36 percent, according to a published study..............

McCAIN HEALTH PROBLEMS = PALIN S PRESIDENCY! HELLOOOO!!!!!!!

DO YOU WANT PALIN HANDLING A CRISIS?? omg!!!!

If McCain/Palin win and if, God forbid something happens to McCain, and Palin becomes president, would it really be so bad?
What has been so bad in the last 50 years is all the typical politicians that are in Washington are all professional politicians and lawyers, the worst kind!!! I have never heard a politician give an honest answer much less deliver their promises. I hate politicians!! The poor people have always voted for the democrats and as I see they are still poor because they have learned to depend on handouts. The government doesnt change your status, YOU can change your status.
As for Obama, he is a typical politician too and kind of scares me with his socialism leaning stance. But like I said, Palin doesnt scare me. The typical politician scares me. Yes McCain is your typical politician too, but he will not try to take away our liberties and our hard earned money for the lazy government dependant losers. I volunteer in my community and raise money for the needy all the time and they are the ones who are also cheated by the government who are the true needy people but the welfare system has been abused and been taken over by the lazy NOT the poor.

Something will come up, it is assured (when the link is the House of Saud, the distance between Bush & bin Laden isn't very far). I just hope Obama responds in a strong way.

HAHAHAHAHA Maybe you should look at facts before you start making absurd claims.

Al Qaeda-Linked Web Site Backs McCain for President
Read this on fox news then tell me who to vote for

Quote from the article you reference:
"The message is credited to a frequent and apparently respected contributor named Muhammad Haafid. However, Haafid is not believed to have a direct affiliation with Al Qaeda plans or knowledge of its operations, according to SITE. SITE senior analyst Adam Raisman said this message caught SITE's attention because there has been little other chatter on the forums about the U.S. election."

I would be very surpised if Bin Laden doesn't release a video-tape the weekend before our election. As Alter correctly states, Bin Laden favors Republicans because they are such a great recruiting tool for him. But Alter makes another point that I had not considered - because Obama has been so critical of Bush's failure to catch Bin Laden, a video-tape reinforces Obama's criticism.

  • Posted By: Canonchet @ 10/22/2008 9:54:04 AM

It is entirely accurate -- as those much-maligned exit polls showed -- that Bin Laden's bizarre video appeal to the US electorate was a factor in Kerry's defeat. But that was because Kerry ineptly allowed his campaign to be 'paralyzed.' Instead, Kerry could have responded immediately and aggressively with a public, angry denunciation of Bin Laden and this brazen attempt to interfere in an American election. Etc.

    RoboHate.

The McCain/Palin campaign is now combining our analog (or digital, cell) telephones with computers, and has produced RoboHate calls against his opponent, to enliven hatred wherever possible.

Hate is not good for the country. And McCain/Palin knows hatred too well. However, McCain/Palin stumbles grossly on unity.

This country needs unity in difficult times. Yes We Can. Obama/Biden is right for this country right now.

Does anyone really believe Bin Laden is still alive? I highly doubt he is.

That is just a stupid rasist comment on stero type casting a group. I disagree with your extreme muslim control. Your ignorant to the times and need to dig deep and ask yourself what you fear in life.

Hillary Clinton did a lot during the Clinton Presidency. She just doesn't speak for the women in middle America. She fails at the homefront of women. I will vote not because of a male or female but rather who can speak for We the people for the people by the people.

I laugh at the theory of fixing the medical insurance system when we can't even handle our homes and the banking credit card bilking of american society.

I am very worried about Biden who believes that the lower classes are marginalized and have no real impact on the mainstream of society. He did a talk on this issue a few years ago and his middle eastern approach to turn my face on Israel and Palestine is to say the least pathic! What has David Ross really contributed to in this area. Who is Obama helping. At least the Saudi King has the fortitude to put his action where his mouth is and I am very thankful for their help.

What Bin Ladin, Putin, Ahmadinejad, and others know from history, and Biden admits will be quickly tested if Obama wins:

Cuba, Vietnam. Laos, Cambodia, Iran, Nicaragua, Somalia, Iraq. Let our friends, allies and the innocents die, by the millions if necessary. Just so long as they are not Americans. We are the Democratic Party, and for 50 years, from the Bay of Pigs to the Basra Highway and beyond, we have never met a fight we could not pressure our government to run away from, or friends and allies we could not abandon. It's the story of our generation. Only the French are more defeatist than we, but together America, we can change that and become number one. And its change we can believe in. Come on America, and vote Democrat. Together, we can re-live that pride we haven't felt since the 1970's. If we just blindly pull together, we really can make this like it is Jimmy Carter's lost second term. Yes we can!

You must be a Republican. I assume that because the only reason ANYONE would bring up the "Bin Laden Factor" would be to try and get people afraid again. Republican's play on the fears of middle America and make themselves out to be the nations "protectors". Well, I got news for Newsweek, they are not our protectors and ANY President will protect us, Republican or Democrate, Independant or Green Party. So stop with the 9/11 crap, the Bin Laden Factor crap, and the scare tactics. You should be ashamed of yourselves!

    • Posted By: sjbrock80 @ 10/21/2008 4:36:27 PM

ANY President will protect us? What did Clinton do after the USS Cole bombing? Oh, that's right, absolutely nothing.

      • Posted By: Latino44million @ 10/21/2008 5:28:06 PM

But there are appeasers, and Obama wants to sit and chat with the likes of Osama.

        • Posted By: pdxkevin @ 10/21/2008 5:35:25 PM

Better to "Chat" than go to war with the wrong people. I agree that Bin Laden is a criminal that needs to be eliminated, but what's wrong with sitting across the table from him, sharing a cup of tea, and then following him home and blowing his brains out?

      • Posted By: pdxkevin @ 10/21/2008 5:33:09 PM

And what did GW Bush do? Oh, that's right...GET US INTO A WAR!!!! ANd to make it worse, a war we should not have gotten into in the first place. Bin Laden is still at large, hense this story.

      • Posted By: ModerateAmerican @ 10/21/2008 5:06:13 PM

You seem to forget that the Cole attack occurred at the very end of Clinton's presidency (mid October 2000) The al Qaeda link was not confirmed until later in November, and by all accounts, we had no actionable inteligence vis-a-vis Bin Laden's whereabouts until mid January. Clnton's earlier missile attacks on Al Qaeda bases were met with deep criticism from congressional Republicans, so it's not surprising that he left the response to the incoming President -- George W. Bush -- who then chose to do nothing. Perhaps things might have been different had Gore won, but we'll never know.

    • Posted By: varacefan @ 10/21/2008 4:08:38 PM

I believe if there were an attack that would help McCain. I believe that is the last thing Bin Laden would want! For the Rep. to try to scare people with Bin Laden would be like the Dems. trying to scare the old people with McCain cutting medicare. Opps!

  • Posted By: MegaDeath @ 10/22/2008 8:13:42 AM

It just makes you piss in your pants from fright. Bin Laden is going to test the water to see how one of the candidates react to......BOO!!!

  • Posted By: jath123 @ 10/22/2008 8:02:13 AM

I wouldn't doubt an attack soon after either Obama or McCain take office. Al Queda has a history of testing new presidents. The first WTC bombing happened in 1993, soon after Clinton took office. The 9/11 attacks happened in 2001, soon after Bush took office. This is not an issue of Obama's or McCain's politics, but rather is a geopolitical fact of history. Isn't is funny how foreign terrorists view us all as "Americans" when we ourselves can't?

  • Posted By: anacalifornia @ 10/21/2008 9:13:20 PM

Well, come on now everyone.....McCain said he will get Bin Laden, he knows how to do it and will get it done, right? So he knows exactly where he's hiding but has kept this nugget of info secret just so he himself can get the hero's honor of capturing him. Way to put country first.

    Obama - Biden '08!

    • Posted By: Pocolodi @ 10/21/2008 10:09:40 PM

Who gives a damn? OBL is likely dead, or at the very least ineffective. No president is going to invade an ally and go in after a corpse.

      • Posted By: anacalifornia @ 10/21/2008 11:46:26 PM

Your candidate gives a damn. Those are his own words said during one of the debates (remember, the 3 debates he lost?). Yeah, those debates. I guess you agree that he talks out of his you know what.

        • Posted By: Pocolodi @ 10/22/2008 7:56:09 AM

According to you, he lost the debates. Sorry... I didn't know you were the official moderator and judge!

He may give a damn, I and others don't. Why would you want to invade an allied nation to get someone who in all probability is already dead?

  • Posted By: nallen72 @ 10/22/2008 7:43:12 AM

    beannemarie...
It does not matter anyway because Obama/Biden will win so I guess this ends our friendly exchange huh? Have fun living with your ignorance!
    OBAMA/BIDEN '08

  • Posted By: nallen72 @ 10/22/2008 7:25:46 AM

    Concerned Canadian...

When you become American and vote in this election, pay taxes and fight for our country we'll listen. Until then worry about your borders because if McCain and Palin get elected, we'll all be running to Canada to save ourselves!
    OBAMA/BIDEN '08 - Otherwise...God help us all

    • Posted By: beannemarie @ 10/22/2008 7:40:19 AM

Goes to show you you really want change...you really like those socialist countries don't you and that is the change you all are voting for ...if you can't get it here then yes by all means run to Canada........

  • Posted By: beannemarie @ 10/22/2008 7:34:13 AM

Yes and Bush has a weather machine and caused Katrina also...you forgot to mention that it was the Dems and Acorn that pushed for deregulations and it was Clinton who started it...Busg merly was was reaching across the isle trying to apease the Dems...and what does this have to do with the above artical...fact is the country has NOT been attacked again since 9/11....and you can blame 9/11 on Clinton alos since he knew about Bin Laden and he had him with in reach 2 x and let him go.....So then he builds up more cray men to fly planes in our towers..then Bush has to handle it...all I can say is Thank God that Bush was in office and has put those B-------- on the defense...If this Happened in the Clinton years then all he would of done is what he did in Somolia tail between his legs and ran..........what did he do after the Cole attack...NOTHING NOTHING..NO THING..........come on people the Presidents job number 1 is to protect this country...you really think a Islam friendly guy with terrorists buddies and NO military experience is going to have what it takes to defend this country....I highly doubt it...remember it was a Republican resident that has the insight and the courage to free the slaves and fight injustice.........seems the Republicans are better equipt to handle threats....Have there been some bad decisions...sure there has but we are suceeding in Iraq and we need to suceed in Afganastan..most importantly......send John Mccain to the white house and he WILL finish the job...send Barack Hussein Obama and he will rubb elbows with our enemy.......I have a son that is in the Infantry and one in the Marines...most of the military want John Mccain to lead them they trust his judgement when it come to protecting the US...they trust his leadership...there is NOTHING more important then our safety cause people if you have so quickly forgotten as we all promised we would not..we were attacked once and they have promised to do it again..they are waiting they are watching for our guard to be let down....well folks it's comming down and it will be way down if Obama gets into office then you better look up and you better watch out cause they will come as they promised.........
