She is elites and cannot do anything about it, its only left for Americans to choose wisely and put race issue behide us. She is not qualify with so many controvercies such as, morals: underage daughter pyrnancy, troopergate issue, spending spreen etc.

Another bad judgement for MaCain & Palin, and this goes to show that Palin is not ready for governance at the highest level such as US Vice President and probably President if MaCain who is over 72 years old pass away, Americans must well and vote wisely.

I loved one of McCain's answers to this. "She needed clothes".

  • Posted By: voterundecided @ 10/26/2008 9:57:42 PM

OH BOY! Now the RNS is saying that 1/3 of the clothing was returned becasue it was the wrong size. And she is saying that the clothing is just part of the staging of the campaign. I can't believe she spent so much time addressing this in FLA if she thinks it isn't an issue. Somehow me thinks she protests too much!

If you Obama worshipers would concentrate as much on what Obama spends, how he has ignored the poor in their unheated apartments in his senate district in Illinois, whie he has given Millions of $$$ in US Senate earmarks to his crooked poliitical cronies, you probalby would not vote for him.
He lives in a $1.6 million dollar home, that it is questionable how he got it. If he is so anxious to sprad the wealth around, why doesn't he start out by being a grat example and start by spreading his first.
Quite talking about "trickle" down spending.
If Obama wins, it won't be long before you are leading the pack complaining about "Trickle up" poverty.

    • Posted By: Lockerroom @ 10/26/2008 2:42:16 PM

Hey bright hope, learn to spell "spread" and the you can ask about Obama's $1.6 million dollar home. did you forget McCain has 7 HOMES!

The extravagant expenditures on Palin's wardrobe are a sad cosmetic attempt to make-over the incredible misjudgment in selecting her as a potential Vice President of the United States of America. It is lipstick on a Person too Incompetent to Govern at this, or any level.

  • Posted By: worlhood @ 10/26/2008 12:04:05 PM

The outrageous expenditures by the Republican party for Palin's wardrobe are an insult to Americans, women and our electoral process. It is simply putting lipstick on a Person too Incompetent to Govern.

Spend Sarah Spend! Spend Sarah Spend! Spent Sarah Spend!

Bargain Rack NOT for 666 Palin...

Palin has many new dresses... short dresses... many high hills shoes, new jackets, suits etc. BUT they are NOT from Wal*Mart. They are not from a bargain rack!

Sarah Palin is a stylish hypocrite!

All these find new clothes come straight from the treasures of the Republican National Committee???s bank account. WHY? ???She needed clothes at the time,??? McCain told a group of Florida reporters. CHANGES YOU CAN BELIEVE IN???

In just 7 weeks Sarah 666 Palin spent $150,000.00 for clothing. This is 6 TIMES the annual wage earned by most American women! http://www.fact.on.ca/newpaper/wm990630.htm

McCain wants Sarah to reform Washington. Is this a sneek peak of what is to come?

Stop listening to the liberal Media,The clothes belong to the RNC and will be sold, donated or auctioned after a few weeks. They do not belong to Sarah Palin. And if they did and she spent her own money for them so what?

      • Posted By: PReed1962 @ 10/26/2008 10:07:43 AM

The point IS she SHOULD have spent her own money. Her clothing should not be paid for by the RNC contributors. She has about 22k this year for her family of 7 just being alaskans! She is the governor of that great big state. She can buy her own suits. Obama biden and McCain do. Also I would like to point out the red suit with the stilletto boots makes her look like a ho. Just saying.

    • Posted By: stormerF @ 10/23/2008 11:37:51 PM

you must be stupid, the clothes will all go to charity and belong to the RNC,not Sarah Palin. Why is it everything has to be explained to a Democrat in simple terms. If your Boss said go to Macy's and buy 5 outfits with this card and don't worry about the cost because its going to charity,I'll bet you would refuse and go to walmart..You are a dumda--.

  • Posted By: Boston Tea Party @ 10/25/2008 11:44:55 PM

Thank you for your comment KayJay. You are so right. But the Democrats are the party of tolerance. Oh and the Liberal Media does NOT exist.

  • Posted By: KayJay @ 10/25/2008 8:45:48 PM

I am absolutley amazed at the venom spewed at Gov. Palin. She and her family have been treated so unfairly by a very BIASED media. And the way the media and the Obama campaign treated an American who asked a very important question is disgraceful and I can not believe so many have stood for it. It is sickening when we must fear asking simple questions of our politicians.

  • Posted By: midnight05 @ 10/25/2008 8:36:34 PM

The upshot is that it would be very, very hard to spend that much money on clothes, isn't it? If you can get a decent wardrobe for about ten grand (gasp), wny would you spend campaign money on so much more. Why would you get a little kid a Vuitton handbag? Unless, of course, the little girl was carrying her mother's bag. Mrs. Kennedy used American designers. I'm surprised that her stylist didn't make sure that all the clothes were American designers. If Nancy Reagan could do it, so could Palin.

  • Posted By: commuterdog @ 10/24/2008 12:10:16 AM

They are only going to auction because the world now knows what the RNC spent on her wardrobe and they don't want to look foolish or "out of touch" with "Joe the Plumber" and his wife the "Hockey Mom"!!!! Otherwise I'm sure they would have ended up in Sarah's wardrobe closet!!!!

    • Posted By: Bella R. @ 10/25/2008 8:20:52 PM

You can't honestly believe she is going to donate the clothes to charity, do you? Just like I don't believe her daughter and the boy will ever get married. As time passes, they'll hope we forget or don't care and then they'll be off the hook.

Obama in this video is campaigning at a convention of Acorn and I believe two other Community Activist's organizations. Ask if he will be their ally if he becomes President and pledge to meet with leaders of Acorn and the others present at the convention in his first year, Obama says, quote:

"Yes, but let me say that before I even get inaugurated, during the transition, we are going to be calling all of you in to help us shape the agenda."

See and hear it for yourself. Obama has promised that Acorn and other groups like it will a part of his transition and setting his agenda if elected:

Obama's records at any of the schools he has attended are sealed. So get of the Magna *** laude thing, will ya?
Start reading facts instead of quoting the "obviously" biased unreliable news media.
When you haven't any comesence arguement you pop out with the Maniplation like ridicule, anger, fear, and guilt. That racist attitude is only held by the democrats. It all started with the clever Alinsky, idea that you hit the oppossision with your own weakness. Obama is the biggest racist around. Anyone not gullible to besucked in by his glib tongue, and has read any of his own writings knows that.

  • Posted By: bright hope @ 10/25/2008 7:19:25 PM

Any idiot with a clever tongue can give clever speeches. What creditials does this do to make him a wise president. Case in point. How many times has katie Couric put her foot in her mouth. I think we all quite counting years ago.

And you call this journalism? You people would never mention how much the Obama's spend on their designer "not off the rack" duds. Figures.
Get off of Palin and concentrate for once on a man who has spent 180 days in the US Senate, most of the time campaigning, can't vote to save his soul other than present, has never run a business to have a clue about economic matters, got to the Illinois Senate by stepping all over the woman who mentored him, and found enough dirt on two other guys who happened to get divorced and wiped them off the ballot. He is part of the dirty Daley machine. We won't talk about any associations here, or who his cousin is in Kenya. What did he do all those lost years from LA to Columbia to Harvard? Don't bother check that out.. Let's talk to the girls at Saks.

Newsweek, and your entire operation is sexist, biased and laughable. Go write for Women's Wear Daily if you want to do a fashion piece.

  • Posted By: Nowforthetruth @ 10/25/2008 3:55:12 PM

What do you really know about Obama's economic philosophy? Since he has never run a town, state or business, he has no record to look at. Oh, he has made lots of promises, but given that he broke his promise to be limited to public campaign funds, you can???t put much faith in that, and there will be means to keep those promises anyway.

But you do know that Obama, along with his democratic buddies in Congress, personally and professionally advocated for a residential housing policy favoring forced sub-prime lending, which subsequently resulted in massive defaults and foreclosures, leading to your loss of significant equity value in your home, to the point that it destabilized your banks, which panicked the stock market, which wiped out your savings.

Look and listen to Obama for yourself. Obama in this video, addressing his community activist work and his work representing ACORN in litigation against the banks and relating to the Community Reinvestment Act, and addressing the failure of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae as those actions relate to the destruction of our economy by causing the current real estate and subsequent financial crisis, states that, and I quote:

"Subprime lending started out as a good idea, helping Americans buy homes who previously could not afford to. Financial institutions created new financial instruments that could securitize these loans, slice them into finer and finer risk categories, and spread them out among investors and around the country, as well as around the world. In theory, this should have allowed mortgage lending to be less risky, and more diversified."

Acknowledging the catastrophe, but as apologist for the Democrats, Obama then offers this justification.

"The original idea was a good one, which was, lets see if we can distribute risk more broadly, and make it easier to provide loans to people who otherwise might not be able to get one."

Yah, great idea. Economically unsound, but embraced by Obama. Listen for yourself. You cannot dispute the mans on words recorded live:

Below is a link to C-SPAN video clips of the Congressional hearings at roughly the time McCains attempt at S.190. to fix Fannie and Freddie. See for yourself who said what.

http://www.newsweek.com/id/164732 from this web site. (oops!) stating that Freddie Mac was spending tax payer money to target Republicans in 2005 who were trying to regulate Fannie and Freddies fraud. Democrats were not targeted, as the were all in the tank with Fannie and Freddie to kill the regulations. Hear that, the article admits that Republicans were trying to regulate Freddie and Fannie, and Democrats were trying to stop it from happening as a means to facilitate the Community Reinvestment Act.

Stating that Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act wasn't what caused the meltdown, and noting that "economists on both sides of the political spectrum have suggested that the act has probably made the crisis less severe than it might otherwise have been."

In the exchange with "Joe the plumber" we find out that Obama really is as radical as his early political acquaintances, Davis, Ayers, Wright, etc., and that he is into the failed economic policy of wealth redistribution. Obama's tax and spending plans alone would be bad enough, but add Reid and Pelosi to the mix, with the three of them controlling both houses of Congress and the executive branch without any effective restraint, and you have something that should causes concern even among moderate Democrats.
See Wall Street Journal: A Liberal Supermajority:

    http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122420205889842989.html

Their failed policies are what brought us to ruin. Even Bill Clinton says so. Obama and a supermajority of Democrats simply is not the change we need, nor is it change we can afford.
