Obama is a Centrist - big time. It's really sad but people hold overly-addictive core beliefs that are stronger than truth or common sense. When presented with undeniable evidence that works against that belief, the new evidence won't be processed, accepted or for the most part - acknowledged. That kind of cognitive dissonance acts as emotional firewall and new information is re-directed. To them, it is so important to protect their cores they rationalize and deny anything that doesn't fit within their core. We all do it to a certain extent, but what makes them "crazy" is not being "able" to take a minute, write it down and solve. So, we have posters like - well you know.

It had drawn wide local and national -- even political attention, with the McCain and Obama campaigns weighing in -- but now the Ashley Todd story has fallen apart. Police in Pittsburgh have now declared the tale a hoax and the woman, who has confessed, now faces charges for her deed.

Earlier today, John Moody, executive vice president at Fox News, commented on his blog there that "this incident could become a watershed event in the 11 days before the election. If Ms. Todd's allegations are proven accurate, some voters may revisit their support for Senator Obama, not because they are racists (with due respect to Rep. John Murtha), but because they suddenly feel they do not know enough about the Democratic nominee.

"If the incident turns out to be a hoax, Senator McCain's quest for the presidency is over, forever linked to race-baiting."

Has anyone kept up with this? A McCain supporters posted a comment regarding this incident asking why Obama supporters are so violent. I replied to this poster asking why the B that was supposedly carved into her face by the "Scary Angry Black man" Of Course ! was backwards. The B looks the way it would if a right handed person did it to themselves.

Anyway the police have found several inconsistencies in her story and she had now remembered new details such as a sexual assault. She did not mention this sexual assult initially, this is a new memory. The police. Also she first stated that she walked to the bank and the attacker got mad when he saw the McCain button on her jacket, then she stated that the attacker got mad when he saw the McCain bumber sticker on her car??????????????????????????

The police are giving this woman a lie detector. I am listing the links to several articles regarding this incident. Please note the major differences in Ms. Todd's stories. In one version Ms. Todd states that the man sat on her chest and carved a backwards B into her cheek. In another version she told the police that she passed out and when she woke up she felt a stinging on her cheek but did not know what happened to her face.

I will not waste my time watching his psycho-babble. He will spend millions of dollars to aggrandize himself when the millions of dollars could have gone to a better cause, like feeding the hungry. He will try to make excuses for Joe Bidden and himself by using terms like refine, fine tune, tweaking my policies. He???ll say anything yet, his record shows he???s done nothing for the good of America. He???ll spin his associations with; Ayres, Fleger, Wright, Rezko, Jame Johnson, Franklin Rains, Acorn etc. He won???t even talk about the HUD grants for donors or his getting rich off the backs of good American people via Fanny & Freddie.

Supporters of the Messiah is preparing a grand victory celebration at Hutchinson Field in Grant Park, Il. In time of financial crisis, they will spend at least$2 million dollars for the ocassion. Obama in this video, addressing his work with ACORN litigation against the banks and relating to the Community Reinvestment Act and the failure of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, as they relate to the current real estate and financial crisis, states that, and I quote:

"Subprime lending started out as a good idea, helping Americans buy homes who previously could not afford to. Financial institutions created new financial instruments that could securitize these loans, slice them into finer and finer risk categories, and spread them out among investors and around the country, as well as around the world. In theory, this should have allowed mortgage lending to be less risky, and more diversified."

"The original idea was a good one, which was, lets see if we can distribute risk more broadly, and make it easier to provide loans to people who otherwise might not be able to get one."

Obama in this second video is campaigning at a convention of Acorn and I believe two other ???Community Activist's organizations. Ask if he will be their ally if he becomes President, Obama says, quote:

(oops!) stating that Freddie Mac was spending tax payer money to target Republicans in 2005 who were trying to regulate Fannie and Freddies fraud. Democrats were not targeted, as the were all in the tank with Fannie and Freddie to kill the regulations. Hear that, the article admits that Republicans were trying to regulate Freddie and Fannie, and Democrats were trying to stop it from happening as a means to facilitate the Community Reinvestment Act.
