The Venom and hatred being spewed on the internet from the so called "Christian right" makes me feel that they are neither Christian nor right. You people put Bush in office behind a "moral" ticket. Has he even approached the subject of Abortion, balancing the budget or anything else conservatives supposedly stands for? Not once. I am conservative in that I am anti abortion except to save mother, incest or rape. Palin doesn't even exclude those. 8 years ago you facist right wing " Christians" called McCain an out and out liberal. Now you call Obama a liberal. I am not an Obama Supporter but I will vote for him because of you "Christians". You're no better than the Taliban. You'd be executing anyone who dared think differently than you if you could. God Save America. From Christianity.
Its Ironic because George W. Bush Jr. is a [Pro-Choice President] yet these Religous Right A!! Holes call Bush Jr. a [Pro-Life President]
I guess with all the Millions given to these [Faith Based Organizations] Mainly [Christian] they are Blinded to his [Pro-Choice Stance] an trust me, Bush Bought and Paid the Religous Right into Supporting his Lame A!! for 8 Years....
The best way to Quiet a Church mouse to to Feed them Lots of Government Cheese and Bush Fed these Church mouses ....
A LOT OF GOVERNMENT CHEESE !!!
Todd & Sarah Palin's Hatefilled, Secessionist Party, The AIP, the 3rd largest Political Party in Alaska, Todd Palin was a Member for 7 Years and is Not a registered Republican. Demand that Sarah & Todd Palin Renounce and Denounce the Anti-American-Secessionist beliefs and teachings ...
Newsweek Magazine ...Please, I'm Begging You NewsWeek, Put sarah and Todd Palin to task for their Anti-American Connections.
AIP's creation was inspired by the rabidly violent anti-Americanism of its founding father Joe Vogler, "I'm an Alaskan, not an American," reads a favorite Vogler quote on AIP's current website, "I've got no use for America or her damned institutions." According to Vogler AIP's central purpose was to drive Alaska's secession from the United States. Alaska, says current Chairwoman Lynette Clark, "should be an independent nation."
Vogler was murdered in 1993 during an illegal sale of plastic explosives that went bad. The prior year, he had renounced his allegiance to the United States explaining that, "The fires of hell are frozen glaciers compared to my hatred for the American government." He cursed the stars and stripes, promising, "I won't be buried under their damned flag...when Alaska is an independent nation they can bring my bones home." Palin has never denounced Vogler or his detestable anti-Americanism.
Palin's husband Todd remained an AIP party member from 1995 to 2002.
Sarah can be described in McCarthy-era palaver as a "fellow traveler."
While retaining her Republican registration, she attended the AIP's 1994 convention where the party called for a draft constitution to secede from the United States and create an independent nation of Alaska.
The McCain Campaign has reluctantly acknowledged that she also attended AIP's 2000 Convention.
She apparently found the experience so inspiring that she agreed to give a keynote address at the AIP's 2006 convention and she recorded a video greeting for this year's 2008 convention.
In other words, this is not something that happened when she was eight!
So when Palin accuses Barack of "not seeing the same America as you and me," maybe she is referring to an America without Alaska. In any case, isn't it time the media start giving equal time to Palin's buddy list of anti-American bombers and other radical associates?
Ashley Todd Story Pushed By McCain Campaign Aide, Say Reporters
TPM's Greg Sargent reports:
John McCain's Pennsylvania communications director told reporters in the state an incendiary version of the hoax story about the attack on a McCain volunteer well before the facts of the case were known or established -- and even told reporters outright that the "B" carved into the victim's cheek stood for "Barack," according to multiple sources familiar with the discussions.
John Verrilli, the news director for KDKA in Pittsburgh, told TPM Election Central that McCain's Pennsylvania campaign communications director gave one of his reporters a detailed version of the attack that included a claim that the alleged attacker said, "You're with the McCain campaign? I'm going to teach you a lesson."

John McCain is a Acorn Man, He Attended a 2006 Rally in Support of Acorn as well as John McCain's Surrogates and GOP
On Monday, the Democratic-leaning group ACORN, which has been painted as a criminal enterprise by the GOP for its voter registration and housing policy efforts, pushed back against its critics by producing a photo of John McCain attending its March 2006 rally.
It was a reminder that, for all their electoral histrionics, Republicans have aligned themselves with ACORN in the past.
Indeed, in addition to the McCain photo, there is a host of examples of prominent McCain surrogates attending ACORN events, signing ACORN legislation, or complimenting the group's efforts.
Florida Gov. Charlie Crist, for example, partnered with ACORN in March 2008 for a "Homeownership Promotes The Economy" taskforce. More recently, Crist declared that -- contrary to GOP outrage -- he was not upset with the group's voter registration efforts in his state. The New York Times reported that ACORN supported a law signed by Governor Crist, which "changed the rules last year to restore the voting rights of about 112,000 former convicts."
In July 2005, meanwhile, another Republican governor, Rick Perry of Texas, signed ACORN's Lending Law Reform Bill that changed the state's homelending practices.
In July 2008, California Governor and McCain supporter Arnold Schwarzenegger signed a bill that ACORN helped draft aimed at California homeowners facing foreclosure.
Story continues below
In June 2007, Minnesota Governor and McCain VP short-lister Tim Pawlenty signed a similar bill -- drafted by ACORN -- that helped homeowners get fairer deals on their mortgages.
"The legislation was drafted according to recommendations made by a predatory lending study group established by Swanson prior to the legislative session," wrote the Northwestern Financial Review. "The study group contained representatives from the banking industry and the mortgage brokers association, as well as consumer advocates from organizations such as Illegal Aid and ACORN."
As Governor of Massachusetts, Mitt Romney signed an anti-predatory lending bill that ACORN supported. In February 2006, Connecticut Senator Joe Lieberman met with the ACORN Katrina Survivors Association. And back in July 2005, New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg actually got a kiss from ACORN's state leader, according to the publication City Limits, during an announcement that the city would protect or create 65,000 affordable units in a new housing proposal. Bloomberg, it should be noted, has not endorsed a candidate.

McCain Top Economic Adviser: [McCain Will Raise Taxes] ...Fact !!!
"Whether you're a Republican, Democrat President or a Martian, Taxes will be Raised"
Though Mccain has said Throughout his campaign
"I will Not, Raise Your Taxes"
His Top Economic Adviser says that a LIE....
Obama will Raise Taxes on those that make More than 250,000...
The 250,000 per year and Under, will have a Tax Break and Tax Cut.
------------------------------------------
Douglas Holtz-Eakin, a former Director of the Congressional Budget Office and current chief McCain economic advisor, is an honest man--which means he's something of a liability on the Straight Talk Express. A few months ago, he admitted to my colleague, Michael Scherer, that Barack Obama's economic plan would reduce taxes for most people.
And now, in a forthcoming book by Fortune columnist Matt Miller, he makes it clear that the next President is going to have to raise taxes.
"If you do nothing on the spending side, you're going to have to RAISE TAXES whether you're a Republican, a Democrat or a Martian," he tells Miller...and then he immediately makes it clear that the "spending side" part of the argument is nothing more than a ...............
"POLITICAL FIG LEAF".
--------------------------------------------------------
YOU REPUBLICANS ARE SUCH GULLIBLE FOOLS...MCCAIN WILL RAISE YOUR TAXES...PERIOD
TAXES WILL BE RAISED...PERIOD...
INFLATION, ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION, OVER POPULATION, LEADS TO MORE [TAXATION] !!!
DAMN !!!
John McCain's & Palin's Quick, Snap Judgement..Just Plain Ole Bad
John McCain's instant acceptance of the highly suspicious story that one of his female campaign workers had been attacked at an ATM in Pittsburgh by a black Obama supporter who carved a backwards "B" on her face is the latest example of his judgment and style of decision-making, which would be potentially disastrous in a president.
Without waiting to find out whether this cockamamie story, which police immediately discounted. was true, Sen. McCain telephoned and spoke with the putative victim. His campaign pushed the sketchy story to the national media.
The "incident" was shown within hours to have been a hoax by a mentally disturbed woman who is now in custody.
Occurring at a time when the McCain campaign is running an ad warning of how Barack Obama would react to a crisis, Mr. McCain's shoot-from-the-hip reaction to this false story serves to remind us once again how totally inappropriate his reaction to a crisis would be.
It suggests that if a President McCain received a report of Soviet missiles in Cuba, North Vietnamese patrol boats attacking an American destroyer in the Gulf of Tonkin, or an Iraqi dictator having weapons of mass destruction, he would believe the report without waiting to find out weather it was true and would go to war first and ask question later--if ever.
Here is John McCain's own description of his mode of decision-making: "I make them as quickly as I can, quicker than the other fellow, if I can. Often my haste is a mistake, but I live with the consequences without complaint."
"The thought of his being president sends a cold chill down my spine," Republican Senator Thad Cochran of Mississippi said of Sen. McCain in January of this year. "He is erratic. He is hotheaded. He loses his temper and he worries me."
I don't often agree with the senior senator from my state, but he's right about this, and the American people had better heed his warning.
LOOK:
You just cannot continue to lie and and distort the truth and expect people to support you.
John McCain has noone to blame for the implosion of his candidacy. He has used extremely poor judgement in all venues of his campaign. He has been unable to stick with any one issue, first he is for this or that then is against this or that. The man is erratic and keeps stabbing at the air hoping he'll hit upon something. Now he finds himself repeating himself in every sentence: my friend, my friends, we are going to fight, we are going to fight, we are going to win this election, we are going to win this election, my friends, my friends, etc. McCain stands for everything, yet he stands for nothing. When was the last time McCain was ealuated by a brain specialist? I do believe he has dementia. And this is NO joking matter. He boasts about his mom's long life, 90 something; but he never mentions that both his father and grandfather died rather young. Frankly, I would venture to bet he is not long for this world....with all that anger and high-blood pressure (yes, anger makes your blood pressure go way, way up), it won't be long before he has a serious heart attack or a stroke. McCan has run a very poor campaign and has run it on lies distortions, false accusations and false promises on what he will do. He said Ayers (who is at least 12 years younger than McCain) is an old washed-out terrorist. I would like to remind John McCain that he is an old washed-out politician. Ayers has been an upstanding citizen since the early 1980s, yet McCain and Pilan falsely claim Senator Obama pals aroun with "terrorists" This is the kind of thing that turns most of us against McCain and his hyena in highheels and lipstick. The woman cannot even buy her own lipstick, the DNC has had to provide her with expensive new clothes, make-up artists, purses, shoes and clothes for her ENTIRE FAMILY OF SEVEN, PLUS, DON'T FORGET BRISTOL'S BOYFRIEND AS WELL!! It is clear to me McCain and the RNC are spreading the wealth and put Sarah and her family on their own welfare rolls. I have never before head of the RNC or the DNC clothing and attempting to beautify their candidates!! Sarah Palin said today that criticism of her wardrobe is sexist. Of course it is sexist, what the RNC and McCain have done IS SEXIST. Would they have done the same for Mr. Pawlenty, Libberman, Ridge, or Mitt Romney??? I think not. The RNC and McCain are treating Sara Palin like a top money-making pimp would treat his "prized" "escorts". And this is the truth!!
You are so right. I certainly can understand your comments. All so true.
OBAMA/BIDEN 2008
What kind of Bullsh!t is this post? McCain had "noone" to blame? He does this or that and uses it for this or that? If you're going to voice your opinion, at least make it somewhat in the realm of sensible instead of this nitwit garbage.
One day I commit to finding out WHY the popular media became Obama's fiery supporter from day ONE, apologist, campaign manager, odd and against the grain defender when he is clearly wrong and out of bounds, and like a watchful parent when he is going in the wrong direction that may mean losing a few thousand votes. Something is clearly wrong with this picture and no doubt will come into the light eventually. Liberalism? Liberal journalists? There aren't that many irresponsible liberals in the universe to explain the disparity. The media does not even 'try' to be fair and balanced.
1) Polls don???t win elections - voters do.
2) If every Obama supporter VOTED for Obama we win this election.
3) Take ADVANTAGE of early voting. Don???t delay, Vote right away. Turnout will be highest this year. Vote early before the crowds increase.
4) Don't stand in line alone, bring friends and/or family members. Make it a CELEBRATION and do something fun together afterward!
Middle-classers! Go to the Obama website at www.barackobama.com and use the tax calculation simulator. It allows you to see what effect his policies will have on your bottomline. Pretty cool. We, my husband and I, save $1300 under Obama, only $300 under McCain. Check it out if you are inclined to believe McCain will save you money, McCain only cares about people like himself...the super-duper rich. Just because you vote for him, won't make you richer. In fact the super-duper rich get richer by keeping the middle class, like me, down.
Loriw clearly thinks reality has a liberal bias. Why shouldn't the media report the results of polls? I'm sorry if it hurts your feelings that McCain's disgusting campaign is backfiring!

I just hope these polls that show Obama leading by so many percentage points are accurate and that this is the reality that's reflected on Election Day a week from Tuesday.
I live in Texas and I suspect there is some jiggering going on at the polls during early voting, nothing definite, just a suspicion.... there is too much at stake for the raving Religious Right loonies to take defeat lying down. And then there is the prejudice, and the "I'm so rich, I earn at LEAST $250K and I don't want to pay more taxes, that would be a fate worse than death" crowd -- all these are so terribly bought into McCain winning. The Bourgeois and the Bigots.
Even the most conservative intellectuals and fiscally conscientious are crossing lines to vote for Obama - he's just more steady, calmer and more energetic than a 72-year old semi-retired Senator could hope to be. Plus, one of them said on a talk show tonight that he actually believes McCain is going senile - judging from his debates, the goofy looks he casts, the nasty rhetoric and the lack of a coherent steady message, plus the way he's aged over the last months... AND his pick of Palin fo rhis VP.
Oh well, Obama obviously has the edge - but will this country actually get to have him as our President? I am afraid that we might all be sorely disappointed -- it's just too soon to cry "victory" for Obama, though I remain cautiously hopeful! ;-)
