    Two central issues in the election Barack Obama is wrong and misleading:

    1) No tax increases to those earning $250,000 or less promised by Obama, then he
    lowered this figure to $200,000, then the "Gift that keeps on Giving" Joe Biden says
    the number is $150,000 and just yesterday Gov. Bill Richardson says the figure is
    $120,000 ...and now a videotape is disclosed where it shows Obama recently stated
    that in the interest of fairness with taxes is around $80,000.00!!
    Sounds like good old fashion Democratic ???reverse auction ???tax policy they implement
    after they break their campaign promise to the American people.

    2) On national security ...Obama???s own VP running mate Joe Biden ... ???mark my words,
    this guy Obama is going to be tested by a generated international crisis within 6
    months of his Presidency..I guarantee it??? Obama will meet with USA's enemies with
    no pre-conditions!
    John McCain???s surge strategy in Iraq is working and its saving the lives of young
    American men and women in uniform serving there...Obama won't admit to this day
    the surge is working and he voted to cut funding for these military forces !!

    John McCain is Commander-In-Chief material ....Obama is just a cardboard "cut-out"

    Sound familiar? It should, its not only the direct path of Hitlers rise to power, but also parallels the events starting with and following 9/11. President Bush was very familiar with the game plan, as his Grandfather and his Grandfathers father-in-law were supporters of Hitler and Nazism, both before and after the war.     Of course, the Bush Administration has skipped a couple of the items on the list, but theyll get to them if their party is allowed to remain in power; it will be the only way for them to retain control over the citizenry.

      FYI, Barack Obama is not the only one who thinks of the Constitution as a living document - our founding fathers thought so, too. That's why they wrote in a way to amend it.

      The original intent of our founding fathers was to have a document that was open to review, amendment, and interpretation.

      To NOT honor their original intent has far reaching consequences for our lives.

      To RockRibbedConservative: And what if they had premium cable, wireless phone, or dish tv? All of those people portrayed on Obama's campaign spot were hard working Americans, who WORKED for everything they did or didn't have.

      Particularly the gentleman who at age 70 went back to work to afford his wife's medication after working all his life. You know - the one who looked outside his sphere of expertise to work at Wal-mart after spending his life working for the railroad?

      But you're wrong about them not having hope - they had plenty of hope; they hope Obama becomes president, not McCain, so they can keep what they WORKED for, and maybe, just maybe, provide a future for their children and grandchildren.

      Government IS supposed to create a climate for jobs, but government is also supposed to help people hold onto the things they've earned through HARD WORK, not strip them of their retirement, medical benefits, or homes.

      What part of HARD WORKING Americans did you miss?

        First, define for me, Hard Working American. Who is, and who is not, a Hard Working American?
        What does he do, and what does he earn?
        2 things about the old guy who went to work for Wal-Mart, doesn't Wal-Mart have a special drug program? If he's an old union guy, doesn't his contract provide for drugs?
        Drug companies have programs for people in need. My 84 year old mother was part of a program in Florida, plus her doctor gave her free samples. He should check into this.
        Government has no such power to help people as you imagine. The author of the Constitution James Madison, stated;
        "The government of the United States is a definite government, confined to specified objects. It is not like state governments, whose powers are more general. Charity is no part of the legislative duty of the government."
        - James Madison, in the House of Representatives, Jan 10, 1794
        2 other presidents also said:
        "I can find no warrant for such an appropriation in the Constitution, and I do not believe that the power and duty of the General Government ought to be extended to the relief of individual suffering which is in no manner properly related to the public service or benefit."

        interesting you mention assets, they???re only relevant when we speak of "the Rich", after all, they have more than they need, eh?
        If these people are indeed struggling, why not cancel cable or cell phones till you get back on your feet.
        Snacks? Soda? Why isn???t she worrying about paying the gas and electric bill or rent, those come first.
        If kids can work after school, why don???t they? I did. So can others.
        How come Barry didn't tell her that there are already programs for her, such as Food Stamps, WIC, Welfare, etc.
        Aren't they members of a church? Churches do a lot for those in need and she should look to them.
        Instead of self-reliance, Barry's constituency are those who believe in Gub'mint-reliance.
        Ask not what you can do for your country, ask what your country can do for you.
        One last thing, 40% of TaxPayers don???t pay Taxes. The Median Income is 45,000 and those below only pay 2.9% of the Tax Dollar. Under him it???ll soon be 50%.
        One half pays for the other half. Seems fair to you, doesn't it?
        How do you give a tax break to those who pay no taxes?
        Easy, they get a Gub'mint check from other Tax Payers, as the bottom 20% do. They get 2.9% back from US.
        When you create an Entitlement Class, they are always entitled.

      Solar flares or sunspots have not come back and the 11 year cycle is extended leading to cooler temperatures. 32,000 scientists have said that this is noty man made and you should go read what they say, if you were smart, but you won't.

    There are a lot of people which are giving you guidlines, that is what to do?. You also have your own perceptions and policies on inetrnal and external issues. Being a president of the world sole super power, a lot of responsiblities are lying on your shoulder. You have to be very careful, because your tenure will be decisive one.
    Respected President, You know that USA has entered into the world resources full area of caspean sea. The presences of USA in Afghanistan has threaned the interests of China , Russia, Iran etc etc. They cannot see USA presence there. The wounds of Ruusia which she got in Hindukush have not yet healed. The emerging China is not ready to bear USA in the region. Iran also has threatened.

    People on these bogs are fond of saying that the current economic meltdown was caused by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac underwriting bad mortgages. While Fannie and Freddie obviously are guilty of writing bad mortgages, and worse, guilty of lobbying Congress to allow them to do so with impunity, their actions are just a small piece of the puzzle when it comes to determining who (or what) caused the financial crisis we face today.

    In 1929 the stock market crash caused the banks to fail, because the banks were in bed with the stock market. Back then, banks owned investment houses, so when the stock market fell, the banks fell too. This triggered the Great Depression. So in 1933 the Congress wrote laws that regulated banking, making it illegal for banks to own investment companies, mortgage guaranty companies or insurance companies. The idea was to keep key industries separated by a fire wall, so that if one industry failed the whole economy would not go down in flames.

    But the Republicans under Bush deregulated the banking industry. Senator Phil Gramm wrote legislation (the Gramm Rudman Act, the Gramm Leach Biley Act, etc.) that stripped away the regulations in the financial and insurance industies. He pushed them through the Republican Congress and they were signed into law by Geo. W. Bush. John McCain voted in favor. Everybody said how great it is to deregulate and create free markets.

    Lehman Brothers, Bear Stearns and Merrill Lynch each gave over a million dollars to Senator Gramm's re-election campaign.

    The economic collapse that happened later was a direct result of the deregulation, and here's how: the banks wrote bad mortgages, then bundled the mortgages into investment vehicles that they sold all over the world, and they even got firms like AIG to insure the investments. It was all a house of cards.

    If there had been no deregulation, sure we would have had a bunch of bad mortgages, and the mortgage guaranty and real estate industries would have suffered, but there would not have been a global financial meltdown, since the problem would have been contained in one sector of the economy. You can thank Geo W. Bush, Sen. Phil Gramm and Sen John McCain for the meltdown, since they were strong proponents of deregulation.

    Furthermore, although Fannie and Freddie are now holding the bulk of these bad mortgages, Fannie and Freddie did not originally write most of these mortgages. They bought them after the fact, bundled by banks/investment companies. Fannie and Freddie got screwed by the Wall Street fat cats. And so did you, if you pay taxes.

    What is Phil Gramm doing today? He works as a lobbyist in Washington, trying to make it legal for the Swiss bank he represents to sell Death Bonds in the United States. Nice guy, Phil Gramm. Incidentally, John McCain has said that he wants to appoint Phil Gramm as Treasury Secretary. Some people just can't learn from their mistakes.

And I am not affiliated with the DNC. Far from it! I am a life-long Republican. I'm a Republican and I am sick at what the GOP and Karl Rove have done to my party and done to the American economy.

        Wake up and smell the coffee, RockRibs. The GOP ship is sinking. What's more, we caused the holes in hull ourselves! The economy is going down in flames, and assigning responsibility to the men who engineered this fiasco is important. Important not so we can point fingers at them, but so we can keep this from ever happening again.

          BTW you probably said the same thing about the gOP in 1976 when you derailed Ronald Reagan. We certainly prospered under Jimmy Carter, didn't we?
