    JOE LIEBERMANN is a WIND SOCK. A disgrace, and power hungry. He should be voted out of office along with the rest of the REPUKES.

    There hasn't been a Democrat majority in Washington since 1965, and before that, 1933. It looks like we are about to see another such event take place. By November 5, 2008 both houses of Congress and the Presidency will be in Democratic hands.

    For those readers who can think for themselves, think back to 1965. Kennedy and the Civil Rights movement. A pivotal time in our history, one we can all be proud of. And 1933, when FDR gave us the New Deal and turned around the Great Depression. If you think about the past century, the only two times that we have had a liberal Democrat majority, America got STRONGER and BETTER.

      The reason your party hasn't been in power since 1965 is because it is no longer the same party.

    We've had an administration who doesn't talk, isolates, blusters and threatens "enemies" and expects to make progress against various "axis of evil" nations. It hasn't worked. I'm done with brag, bluster and threat deplomacy. McCain appears to like the brag and bluster approach. He can have it. That approach won't bring reconcilation or peace in the middle east or any other place. Patriotism isn't served by blow hard bullying leaders. Our influence in the world is at a very deep low. Our military is mired in mideast sand,. And our economy is self destructing. McCain has been party to this disaster. I see no good reason to trust him.

    The difference between Mccain and Obama was not whether we should talk to our enemies, but as to how we should do it. Mccain understands that we should not provide a world platform (by presidential level talks) for crazy nuts who would only use the oppurtunity to voice their extremist ideas. Mccain knows that it is better to send lower level people first to set conditions for any higher level discussion that would have the attention of the world.
