4 Key Factors for the Desrtuction of Palin in Politics......

    1. Sarah & Todd Palin

    2. Sen. Ted Stephenson

    3. Convicted Lobbyist: Jack Abramhoff

If Ted Stephenson is Convicted as has been Lobbyist, Jack Abramoff...

I believe Ted Stepheson will be Convicted as was his Lobbyist Buddy, Jack Abramhoff

    ----------------------------------------------

Re: Abramoff : Republican strategists expressed some relief that the damage could be limited. Carl Forti, a spokesman for the National Republican Congressional Committee, said that if Abramoff's revelations ensnare only one lawmaker and some unknown staff members, Democrats will have little chance of sparking a political revolt when voters go to the polls in November to elect a new Congress.

But now that Abramoff has agreed to cooperate with prosecutors in exchange for a lighter prison sentence, he could provide testimony highly damaging to other high-level lawmakers. DeLay is not mentioned, but court documents do single out his former deputy chief of staff, Tony C. Rudy. The documents detail 10 monthly payments totaling $50,000 that went to the wife of an aide identified as "Staffer A." In exchange, that aide, identified elsewhere as Rudy, helped torpedo Internet gambling legislation and a postal-rate increase, according to Abramoff's plea agreement.

Moreover, numerous references to Abramoff-financed trips to Scotland and the Northern Mariana Islands raised anew questions about DeLay's own trips to both locations with Abramoff.

Obama spent $800,000 for votes -
    which one bothers you more?

It doesn't bother me, but if I was a republican, I would wonder why my the RNC ALSO paid for the clothes of Palin's husband and kids? Will Todd give back the shoes?

The dress Cindy's was over $330,000 but it was her money, You can begin see who would be effected most by Barack's tax increases, not America....the McCain's.

The RNC after the election in 2004 finally disclosed that they paid Nathan Sproul over $8,000,000, the same guy that is on McCain team now. McCain is confident that he will win just as Bush was confident HE would win even when the polls showed that they were behind. What EXACTLY does Nathan Sproul do for them?

    • Posted By: Unbridled Truth @ 10/27/2008 10:56:19 AM

All candidates for presidency pay big bucks for their votes. After all Dennis Kucinich was driven out of the race because the Media (NBC if I remember correctly) said he had not raised enough money to participate in the debate.

The clothes are an affront, considering it takes most Americans 3 - 5 years to earn $150K. It is quite comforting to know that Palin can spend 35k of her own money to put a tanning bed in the governor's mansion but can't afford to buy her own clothes!

    • Posted By: floridacadman @ 10/27/2008 10:06:43 AM

Hear Obama in 2001 Chicago Public Citizen Radio Interview criticizing the Warren Court as not radical enough for not pursuing redistribution of wealth.

Obama Says that community organizing is for the purpose of assembling the political power to force redistribution of wealth.

    • Posted By: Unbridled Truth @ 10/27/2008 11:40:19 AM

Community Organizing is for the purpose of people having a voice in their own government and their own destiny. Have you forgotten that the US Government is SUPPOSED to be a Government OF the People By the People? It has become a government of the rich, by the rich and for the rich; an Oligarchy. It is time for you to wake up and realize that they have stolen true democracy and the American Dream while you were sleeping.

Please, God let Sarah Palin figure out what it really means to be a role model to young women and the public in general. Please God, allow her to see the light and go back to Alaska and take care of her responsibilites at home, help her children graduate from high school, and sort out the mess she has made in her own backyard. When one in four young adults drop out of high school, we have a problem. Let's tend to our own families before we hurl ourself into over-reaching projects. That's what strong women have been doing for centuries. Noone could not admire her for putting her family first.

    • Posted By: Unbridled Truth @ 10/27/2008 11:36:20 AM

The US Constitution requires there to be a separation between Church and State. That means that religion should have NOTHING to do with elections and elected officials have no right to press their brand of religion on people and policy.

Men have children two. And they don't use 10's of 1000's of dollars carting their children around the country while doing their job. In fact, most Americans don't take their children to work with them, never mind at taxpayer expense. You have one thing right, Palin puts her family before integrity and the state she "represents".

    • Posted By: floridacadman @ 10/27/2008 8:35:25 AM

Stop with the God crap, and let her take responsibility for her own actions. Thats the problem with this country, no one takes responsibility for anything. Its either "Gods will" or someones elses fault, so they can be sued...damn. Wake up America, this tag is exactly whats wrong with the country.

"SOCIALISM" Socialism does not work, just look at Mexico- IT DOES NOT WORK.
I have a question for all former and present college students: Lets say that you have an ???A??? average in school because you work and study hard, but your roommate is lazy and parties all the time. Now Mr. Barac comes to your school and tells you that he is going to take half of your grades (your hard earned A???s) and give them to your room mate and take half his C???s and give them to you, all in the spirit of being fair. Tell me how many of you would be sincerely and honestly fine with that.

    • Posted By: Unbridled Truth @ 10/27/2008 11:28:38 AM

Then you better get mad about the bail out and nationalization (socialization) of the American Banking System. Paulson himself pointed out that it is distasteful to most Americans but he is doing it anyway! If you want to fight socialism in American .... here is where you start.

    • Posted By: benkrapf @ 10/27/2008 10:55:21 AM

      I feel sorry for you.

When Obama wins, your estimation of the world will shrink or shatter.

Just remember that "socialism" is something that has been present in American politics for close to 100 years, in theory first, then in fact through federal programs such as Medicare, Medicaid, Welfare, Social Security, and the interstate highway system.

Would you care to do without any of these?

Talking about schools....READ HISTORY! Have you seen any Democratic party administration socoalist? Don t you know this is something republicans repeat every 4 years because they can only win by FEAR MONGERING!!!
Have you seen what REPUBLICANS have done lately, buy share in the banking system, and that is not socialism?
Have you read about how Palin built the sport complex on private land and the Wasilla sued the owner to obtain the land title and paid whatever they wanted even if the owner did not agree? How do you call that? That is socialism!
What about taxing the oil companies and sending 3200/person check to all Alaskan? Re-distribution of wealth?
WAKE UP and do your homework so you will not be fooled again, rememeber Bush slogan: the reformer with results....Well look the reforms and the results....if you want more of the same.....

You also forgot that it is the current Republican Administration that has been been bombing Iraq for years (with McCain's support) in violation of international law, tortures people in violation of the Geneva Convention (international law) and LIED to the American people to get their support for this illegal war. Not to mention the fact that it is taxpayer money that has been flushed down the toilet to do so and even more tax payer dollars are being used by this administration to re-build Iraq and its infrastructure while ours falls apart. According to the McCain-Palin ticket, speaking out against this is anti-American.

This article is a crock. John McCain made a good choice. Sarah Palin is smart and a good person...Obama and his team have worked had to destroy her. Obama has never won an election fairly. Obama and his backers work to destroy and remove the opponents.

John McCain has made other poor choices and mistakes during this campaign, but even if everything had been done perfectly....the Obama Press Machine and Chicago Politics Destroy Your Opponents Machine was in place.

This race is not over. The media is trying to convince Americans that they should not turn out to vote....Acorn and Obama campaign has been herding blacks to early vote....just watch the news about early voting and see who is in line and note where they live....urban black america. This country would be greatly helped if the blacks would not just follow where the DNC leads them. The DNC uses black americans.

The news media and Barak Hussein Obama are bent on destroying America....people use your brains, eyes and ears and vote "smart" not "stupid".

And yes, B.O.'s association for over twenty years with Wright and his other radical alliances is "BAD". Barak does not have ethics, good judgment or experience, and cannot speak without a teleprompter and make any sense, wants reparations and will use the Oval Office to satisfy radical agendas.

    • Posted By: Unbridled Truth @ 10/27/2008 11:18:33 AM

And, 10 billion a month to kill children for a mission the reps themselves deemed accomplished 5 years ago...after they lied about why we were there OF COURSE. Nice platform, the whole lot of them need their own quiet corner of hell.

Where is Nathan Sproul? The RNC paid him over EIGHT MILLION DOLLARS in 2004-2005 so Bush could come back from behind and win, How much will Cindy pay him so her husband will be elected by any means neccesary?

  • Posted By: floridacadman @ 10/27/2008 9:38:36 AM

The constitution compels americans to rise up against tyrannical behavior. The GOP lied about the reson for starting the war, they themselves declared mission accomplished 5 years ago. 10 billion a month, enough spent since it started to make every man, woman and child a millionaire 3x over. Forget about the human life cost, because the GOP doesnt care about that.
This nation needs to throw these SOB's out, now.

    • Posted By: Unbridled Truth @ 10/27/2008 11:07:07 AM

Bravo. The Declaration of Independence compels all Americans to replace the government when it becomes despotic and tyrannical, which it has. This includes not voting for someone who consistently and without hesitation lies to the American people, inspires people to fear and encourages division amongst Americans with racism and class war. We don't need another 8 years of this. We need to start repairing our economy, our standing in the world and restoring the US Constitution in American Law.

I think we, as Americans, need to try to find common ground rather than further division. " A house divided against itself cannot stand". Let's try to find solutions that we can all live with rather than pushing an agenda that punishes those we disagree with. The approval level of Congress demonstrates that we are all tired of partisan bickering. Like Rocky Picture Horror Show, Govenor Palin has a cult of ardent supporters, but she will have to reinvent herself dramatically to appeal to mainstream America.

I see Palin as a threat to the Deomocratic Party - The media has been tearing her up since day one. They don't wait her to come back. She is just like you and I and for what the media has done is uncalled for wether we are Democrate or Republican we should all be bothered by the media's portail of her. How they sent 30 journalist ect. As far as her cloths - big deal. 150,000 not bad, Hillary spent $6000.00 each pant suit. Michell Obama got a redo as well. Obama's suits went from 500 - 5000 so why does the media want to focus on the 150,000.? Just like the Democrates crying about any negative coverage they get from Fox about Ayers and Wright. Who really gives a crape? Do you honestly care about Mitchell's new hair style, her make up? NO do you really care about Palin's shoes? NO Do you really care Hillary;s 6000.00 pant suits? NO Do you really care Obama's 5000.00 suits? NO - We do not care. However - as a US citizen we should care that the Media can either break or make great people. This time it went Obama's way - all is good - but next time it may go the other way. We need to let all media outlets NYT/MSNBC/ABC/CNN and other big news - what we expect next time and this stupid junior high school stuff is not hit.

This commentary presumes of course that working class white Americans are forever dim witted victims of their private rage, incapable of evolving from narrow minded bigotry into a more open minded and inclusive world view which speaks to an evolving self confidence and proficiency.

The notion that the only hope for the Republican Party is to continue to appeal to the most limited and narrow minded aspects of human nature on the one hand and unhinged, if not unbridled , short sighted self interest on the other, is hopefully just the stuff of fluff and spin or journalistic opportunism.

We and they, presuming they are not some kind of other, are surely made of better stuff than the presumptions of this piece suggest.

Palin is either a narrow minded, profoundly ignornant fascist or a weiddling opportunitist on the other -- it is certainly one thing or the other -- nothing in between -- and neither attractive. Her only hope, on a human and personal level is personal insight. In the absense of transformation in the most fundamental way I fear for her personally -- personal ignorance of such astonishing dimension is its own pathetic reward -- and for us if my presumptions prove unfounded and we find that she actually is a true measure of who we are.

    • Posted By: bennettsusan @ 10/27/2008 10:12:29 AM

Good and somewhat scary post, just looking. I have had the same thoughts myself. How long can the Republicans use fear and hate building to win elections? Pols have long suggested that this method targets the much valued, less educated, middle American. Shame on the rest of the Republican voters who look the other way which condones this, the old means to an end thing. Well, guess what, they are becoming the means in the process.

John McCain, with all his talk of fixing our gridlocked government, has fallen to many of the divisive tactics of the far right, in his last gasps of this election. Does he believe that this is the way to begin that process or has he put it on the back burner until he gets elected? Given that, how are we to believe that he will have the spine to stand up to the very ones he sucked up to in this election, when a tough unpopular issue presents itself in his presidency? Once you buy into the means, you become it.

This whole media thing is blown out of proportion, in my view. Certainly there are some biased sources, and for all their pretense otherwise, they appeal to a slice of the electorate. The number one concern of the media is the ratings. They run what they believe will stir public interest and controversy seems to head that list. The Republicans know that when they play dirty, the media will go at them. They need a counter and so blame the messenger media. It's all a game except to the easily pliable voters who believe it is real.

Don't make the mistake of lumping all middle class working whites together. there are pleanty of states where middle class whites love being Democrats. Are there some states that haven't evolved? yes, but many are on the brink of change. Close races in the south especially in GA, NC and Tennesse are waking citizens up to the fact that their Republican representatives have kept them poor by keeping wages low. At the same time convincing them that they are lucky to have jobs.

The southerner working person is paid less, has less benefits and is less safe. By pushing the God, Guns and Gays agenda they are diverted form even thinking about what their true potential. Ignorant,? Hell no, just been held down so long it's hard to see the truth.

The good news about having had Palin as a V.P. Nominee are twofold: (1) There is still much to uncover in the way of cronyism and self-interest in her short tenure as governor and (2) the contrast between this bobble-head and a smart woman are now self-evident. The next four years offer an alternative choice for smart women of both parties to emerge while Palin sinks in her ignominy.
