    Palin is soooooooo American (no one word about the AIP and secessionist from Alaska) and she loooooves the REAL Americans pocket of this country.........
    She forgot LATINOS and other nationalities of this great country!
    But I am not surprised of this divisive rhetoric we have heard so much, this is what McCain thinks of LATINOS:

    Back in February of this year a reporter asked Mccain about Latinos. Mccain replied "They are good for manual labor." The reporter then asked "Is that all?" Mccain smiled and turned away from the reporter who didn't have a camera but he filmed it on his cell phone that is why mccain didn't think he was live. Very interesting to know what mccain thinks of Latinos.
    LATINOS ARE GOOD FOR MANUAL LABOR.....

    Well LATINOS will apply their MANUAL skills at the booth on NOV 4th!

    It's worth noting that that the increases in revenue after Kennedy's tax cut came in large part from eliminating tax shelters and loopholes for the wealthy, later restored by Reagan, thus increasing the deficit and decreasing revenues.

      Giving tax breaks to the wealthiest and leaving a huge debt, I can do that myself!!
      Balancing the budget, paying the debt and leaving surplus (while you are being harassed day in day out) that is a genius to me!..Clinton, I mean....And Obama is using his same team!

    George W. even admitted that there was little point in trying to to raise taxes on the wealthy since they will find a way not to pay it anyway. For example, millionaire Cindy McCain only paid 26% of her income in taxes and millionaire Dick Cheney only paid 19% of his income in taxes last year. So why did the uber-rich need a tax cut in the first place since by theiri own admission, they don't pay their fair share?

    We will have another 2 more years of a depressive economy. America will wake up from the hangover and vote Republican. Socialist programs make people like me pay for them. Why? Because 1) I make less than 250K (the real people who are paying into the system) and 2) I am single. That alone makes me pay more.
    I am the population paying for these socialistic programs that benefit people who are not even US CITIZENS. Now the Dems want to give people who do not pay Social Security, our hard earned monies. That is not a lie. I work in local government and we have programs for immigrants to come here get monies and send them home to their mother countries. That is another reason our economy is in the toilet. This is all true. So don't even try to say otherwise. Its disgusting what I see yet I have to administer the injustice of all the hypocricy in the name of the federal government.

        I guess you like the fact we as Americans are paying immigrants to send their monies to the mother land. You must also like the fact medi-care, medi-caid, and social security is being cut and administered to our citizens. The ones who are losing is us. Democrats are currently the majority.     Taxation is and always has been a redistribution of wealth. Once you recognize that point, the question is, how are we going to spend the money we raise in taxes?

    For the past 8 years, our tax dollars have gone to killing civilians in Iraq and giving big payoffs to Halliburton (co-incidentally owned by the Cheney family). And since there wasn't enough in the treasury to do this in style, we borrowed money from communist China and ran up the national debt to pay for it.

    Like 80% of Americans, I am sick of this particular redistribution plan.

    Obama's plan reduces taxes on 95% of Americans. The other 5% of us (who make over $250,000 a year) can afford to pay an extra 3%. That extra 3% comes out to only $300 for every $10,000 they make above $250,000. It's not going to kill them. In fact, if you make over $250,000 a year, $300 probably doesn't mean much to you. The other source of increased revenue will be making corporations that ship jobs overseas pay a higher share of tax. Right now, these corporations pay a lower share than companies that keep their employees in the USA. No more incentives to hurt America. We all can agree with that.

    Obama promises to go through the Federal budget line by line and cut all the wasteful spending. He promises to have transparency, a website where you can go and actually see the real Federal budget, not the made for TV version you can access under Bush.

    Furthermore, Obama's economic plans will lead to a strong economy, an educated workforce, more American based jobs, affordable health care, and freedom from foreign oil. We will regain our position as a world leader, a nation that spreads democracy not with guns and threats, but with prosperity and diplomacy.

    How do I know this? I read Obama's Blueprint for Change. And I compared it to what McCain had to offer (more tax cuts for corporations and the wealthy, more wars, a really inadequate health plan, and the stated intention of overturning Roe v. Wade). You really should visit the websites of both candidates and read their platforms.

      Agree with you but on one issue:
      They will NOT overturn Roe vs Wade. Republicans have been in congress 20 years out of the last 28 years and have done NOTHING...Why? it is the main pulling issue every 4 years and millions of ONE ISSUE voters vote for them even against their own interest. So, you can not kill the golden eggs hen, do you?

    Palin was ANNOYED with Couric questions? What about Biden interview with West (notably McCain talking points) and he is not whining!
    She has not answered YET any tough question, what a disgrace, to shelter under the WOMAN umbrella to avoid be questioned what EVERY candidate has been asked....

    Palins pretty much done after this, as she should be. She had her chance and blew it wide open. Too bad really, shes got the look and personality for something better than what shes doing. If she was democrat shed have done a lot better. People are just sick and tired of the Washinton elite, making the rich richer, and screw the working class. It was just bad timing for her.

    I don't think things will be good for her when she returns to Alaska. This campaign has showed all her negatives and meanness. She is very good at attacking but doesn't have the intellectual credentials to back her up. Many might be taking a closer look at her and her performance as Gov. Personally, I think she will try to run for a Senate seat, then might try again to make a national comeback.

    The "not ready" euphemism won't wash. Any 44-yr-old ignorant enough to ridicule drysophila research is too dense to be brought to competency no matter how hard they try. (I've heard her SAT score was 841!) The Republican Party should be relieved to see this embarrassing coquette leave the national scene as abruptly as she appeared.
