Absolutely! And go go Palin on being yourself- get those KKK voters welded to the base, and those end of world folks who will step into a war with anyone with great zeal to bring about the apocalypse. Everyone else, the constitution, the preamble, and democracy can go to heck because you and your followers will be so safe in knowing that you are doing "gods" work. Right on, she will create a whole new GOP, and because she does not like to read (but forbids people who can from selecting their own books), any lessons from 20th century history will be lost. Pass the soma folks, and turn up your TVs.

Five maverick reasons to vote for OBAMA BIDEN on Nov 4th:

    1) Charlie Black: McCain advisor who retroactively lobbied for immunity for At&T's illegal wire-tapping acts, and that a new terrorist attack would be "a big advantage for McCain".

    2) Phil Gramm: McCain advisor and former vice-chair of UBS which lost $42 billion in the nation's current mortgage crisis. He also said the current economic crisis is a "mental thing and America is a nation of whiners..."

    3) Steve Schmidt: Senior McCain strategist who claimed the "elite media were trying to destroy Palin and referred to the New York Times as a " pro-Obama advocacy organization".

    4) Randy Scheunemann: McCain foreign policy advisor who crafted McCain's Russia policy while simultaneously lobbying a firm which profitted $200,000 from neighboring Georgia. Termed senator Obama's willingness to talk with rogue dictators as "unilateral cowboy summitry...?"

    5) Rick Davis: Until August 2008, was a Wash DC lobbying activist for Freddie Mac and earning $15,000 per month. Also, stated, " questions about Palin's chruch were, " literally an attack on Christianity itself !"

McCain is really just more of he same...

Over the next few years, Sarah Palin may indeed become more knowledgeable; she will not, however, *understand* the issues any better. Such a role requires thinking about things, arguing them against experts, weighing options and reaching conclusions. There has not been one instance in this campaign (or indeed in any of the videos from her gubernatorial campaign) that indicates that she is *curious* about ideas. Consequently, any persona that emerges will be patently synthetic. Americans can sniff out a phony; it???s bred into us. The people who already love her do so because they identify with her real personality. But crafting a new one will not translate into a national referendum on ???Palin???s America.??? This is not wishful thinking on my part. Palin is the *symbol* of the shrinking base, not its antidote.

Oh, I get it. The Republicans' only chance of winning elections is by appealing to the country's most ignorant people.

The Republican elite themselves will continue to rape the country for its riches, of course. Leaving only crumbs for the people the rely on to get themselves elected.

Shame on them. Shame on them.

Oh, sure. The Republican money will just flow to Palin, considering how she has almost singlehandedly brought the whole campaign down around McCain's ears ( he chipped in, too).
They'll resuscitate actor/ blowhard Fred Thompson (the former "savior" of the Republican Party 10 months ago, remember?) before they let Palin off her leash again.

The show to watch for after November 4th is her "triumphant" return to Alaska, where they're just waiting to welcome her with open arms. She's dead in the water up there, and heading for the rocks.

This will be fun to watch.

Thank you, John McCain, for the latest installment of "Survivor- Alaska".

Perhaps it is time for the Republicans to take back their party from the radical and religious right of Ronald Reagan, George Bush and Sarah Palin? Those 25% of the party and their followers do not represent the ideals of most Republicans, who are fiscal conservatives looking to lead this nation without running up huge deficits. Meanwhile the Democrats have pre-emted the fical responsibility the Republicans abandoned. The Reagan Republicans took our national debt from less than 1$ trillion to $4.5 trillion. Bush raised that to $10.7 trillion in between those Republican spending sprees, the Democrats were able not only to run the government without increasing the national debt but in fact reduced it! Do your research don't be lemmings.
If the Republican Party moved more to the political center, abandoning the radical right, they would be embraced by the Independents who left the major parties because neither party represented their true beliefs. Let Palin and here radicals be reduced to a third party which would have to come begging for a part of the pie. Maybe that will tone down their radicalism?

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/10/13/acorn-mccain-and-gop-used_n_134284.html

John McCain is a Acorn Man, He Attended a 2006 Rally in Support of Acorn as well as John McCain's Surrogates and GOP

Some you Low Lifes, would'nt know your Ear Hole from your A!! Hole, just like the Semi-Senile John McCain, to whom you Blindly Support.

On Monday, the Democratic-leaning group ACORN, which has been painted as a criminal enterprise by the GOP for its voter registration and housing policy efforts, pushed back against its critics by producing a photo of John McCain attending its March 2006 rally.

It was a reminder that, for all their electoral histrionics, Republicans have aligned themselves with ACORN in the past.

Indeed, in addition to the McCain photo, there is a host of examples of prominent McCain surrogates attending ACORN events, signing ACORN legislation, or complimenting the group's efforts.

Florida Gov. Charlie Crist, for example, partnered with ACORN in March 2008 for a "Homeownership Promotes The Economy" taskforce. More recently, Crist declared that -- contrary to GOP outrage -- he was not upset with the group's voter registration efforts in his state. The New York Times reported that ACORN supported a law signed by Governor Crist, which "changed the rules last year to restore the voting rights of about 112,000 former convicts."

In July 2005, meanwhile, another Republican governor, Rick Perry of Texas, signed ACORN's Lending Law Reform Bill that changed the state's homelending practices.

In July 2008, California Governor and McCain supporter Arnold Schwarzenegger signed a bill that ACORN helped draft aimed at California homeowners facing foreclosure.

    Story continues below

In June 2007, Minnesota Governor and McCain VP short-lister Tim Pawlenty signed a similar bill -- drafted by ACORN -- that helped homeowners get fairer deals on their mortgages.

"The legislation was drafted according to recommendations made by a predatory lending study group established by Swanson prior to the legislative session," wrote the Northwestern Financial Review. "The study group contained representatives from the banking industry and the mortgage brokers association, as well as consumer advocates from organizations such as Illegal Aid and ACORN."

As Governor of Massachusetts, Mitt Romney signed an anti-predatory lending bill that ACORN supported. In February 2006, Connecticut Senator Joe Lieberman met with the ACORN Katrina Survivors Association. And back in July 2005, New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg actually got a kiss from ACORN's state leader, according to the publication City Limits, during an announcement that the city would protect or create 65,000 affordable units in a new housing proposal. Bloomberg, it should be noted, has not endorsed a candidate.

McCain's Top Financial Adv. Says..... [He Will Raise Your Taxes]

    http://www.time-blog.com/swampland/2008/09/the_mccain_tax_increasescontin.html

McCain Top Economic Adviser: [McCain Will Raise Taxes] ...Fact !!!

"Whether you're a Republican, Democrat President or a Martian, Taxes will be Raised"

Though Mccain has said Throughout his campaign

"I will Not, Raise Your Taxes"

His Top Economic Adviser says that a LIE....

Obama will Raise Taxes on those that make More than 250,000...

The 250,000 per year and Under, will have a Tax Break and Tax Cut.

    ------------------------------------------

Douglas Holtz-Eakin, a former Director of the Congressional Budget Office and current chief McCain economic advisor, is an honest man--which means he's something of a liability on the Straight Talk Express. A few months ago, he admitted to my colleague, Michael Scherer, that Barack Obama's economic plan would reduce taxes for most people.

And now, in a forthcoming book by Fortune columnist Matt Miller, he makes it clear that the next President is going to have to raise taxes.

"If you do nothing on the spending side, you're going to have to RAISE TAXES whether you're a Republican, a Democrat or a Martian," he tells Miller...and then he immediately makes it clear that the "spending side" part of the argument is nothing more than a ...............

    "POLITICAL FIG LEAF".

    --------------------------------------------------------

YOU REPUBLICANS ARE SUCH GULLIBLE FOOLS...MCCAIN WILL RAISE YOUR TAXES...PERIOD

    TAXES WILL BE RAISED...PERIOD...

2 WARS AT THE COST OF BILLIONS, HIGH UNEMPLOYMENT, RECORD HIGH FORECLOSURE RATES, THE BIGGEST WALLSTREET BAILOUT EVER, INFLATION, ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION, OVER POPULATION, ALL LEAD TO MORE [TAXATION] !!!

THE SPENDING END IS A ..BIG JOKE !!

    SIMPLE, DAMN !!!

I think many of us would accept a black male that opposes affirmative action, a hispanic that opposes affirmative action, a white male that opposes affirmative action, or even a tranvesite cow that opposes affirmative action.

It's not the person, it's not their intelligence, it's what they say. I dislike what Obama says. The fact that he is EQUALLY intelligent as Mccain (both are in the upper 2%) and that he says it eloquantly doesn't change the simple fact: he supports racist policies that hurt white people.

    • Posted By: Michael Lafferty @ 10/26/2008 1:34:34 PM

Really? Senator McCain in the upper 2% intellectually? How do you square that observation with his graduation very near the bottom of his Naval Academy class?

So he is bright, but a poor performer? And, we want that in a President?

Yes, illegal immigration is not a good thing, but the federal government has many options of granting a form of immunity to those who entered this country illegally though have now lived here for many years, now have a family, are productive employees, own homes, and who contribute to our nations struggling economy. America's Hispanic population will contribute approx. $923 billion to our nation's economy, and has surpasssed the spending of African-Americans which is approx. $911 billion. Our federal government is partly to blame for not securing our national borders, but now that our borders are more secure, why not allow these "Hispanic-American" families the option of being fully naturalized citizens of the US over an expedited 4 year period provided they can meet a governmentally accepted variation of the current immigration laws. If the government were to do so, these residents can become full citizens of this country, and the numbers of undocumented wprkers will decline as employers can then appropriately complete the necessary documentation for state and federal tax purposes, and they can contribute to our nation's Social Security benefit plan. These Hispanic workers can also obtain vital "legal" identification such as state IDs, state drivers licenses, Social Security numbers, voter registration cards, US passports, etc. The majority of these folks are hardworking people of Mexican decent and to initiate a mass deportation of these people is not only immoral, and impractical but UnAmerican to say the least.

Our federal government needs to an EFFECTIVE solution to this issue, such as the US-Mexican Naturalization Relief Act of 2009, rather than disrespect them as Republican Gov. Blunt of Missouri did so last week, when he referred to these residents as "BAD ACTORS that undermine our nation's democracy..." Shame on you Gov. Blunt1 God Bless America, Canada, and Mexico!

A lot will depend on the agenda the Democrats have ove the next two years. If Obama is able to govern from the middle, and help us out of this financial mess we're in, he will help endear the Democratic party with those same white working class voters. If Democrats go too far left, they will again open themselves up to a Republican comeback in two or four years. The true heartland of this country, the silent majority, are moderates, and we're tired of all the ultra right or left wing agendas that seem to garner so much attention. It's the people that scream the loudest that seem to get their opinions across. Too bad we don't have a moderate 3rd party to belong to. I'd join.

What a terrifying prospect. A poster girl for right wing, intolerant, christian talibans. Charting the course when she doesn't even know what the destination is. Totally self-absorbed and smug in the knowledge she's doing "the lord's work". Truly terrifiying.

Yes, Americans should invest in IRONY. That stock is though the roof since hockey mom Sarah Palin started strutting her stuff in $5,000 ruby colored shoes.

And the Anchorage Daily News, Alaska's largest paper, has just endorsed Barack Obama for President.

The IRONY stocks go up, up, up!
