    I see that KHOOGIE is taking a trip down McCains memory lane,circa 2000. Very well then.

    The conservative NATIONAL REVIEW [whose writer Byron York was used by CNN reporter Drew Griffen last week to twist and fabricate an article he wrote criticizing the media,while Griffen used it as a criticism of Palin,where he has since admitted he was being ''dishonest''], is asking why the Los Angeles Times is sitting on a video taken in Chicago in 2003 of Barack Obama,William Ayers,Bernadette Dohrn,and Bobby Rush attending a soiree where the man of honor was one Khalid Khalidi,member of the terrorist PLO and chief Arafat spokesman who praised such acts as the June 2000 bombing of a Tel Aviv ice-cream parlor that killed several children and seniors attending a birthday party.
    The REVIEW has a copy or copies of this video,which are almost certainly being leaked to YOUTUBE as we write.The Times admits to having the video. Their question to the media,and especially the Times,is why ,eight days from the election,they are refusing to comment on a video they already posess and are supressing it.

        Dunno. No-one ever admitted to actually having the M.Obama tape as it did not exist. The liberal Los Angeles Times does however,[having ran an article on the tape in Apr. 2008],as does the NATIONAL REVIEW.

    You mean WHEN the GOP loses. And yes - the smart voices of the party have long since admitted she was a terrible pick. In addition to being utterly unqualified, she is a base pick when elections are won in the middle. (How much do they pay these nimrods to manage this fiasco? I will do it far better for half!). The fact that McCain can STILL say with a straight face of how proud he is of her is a slap in the face to anyone with a brain, and underscores yet again how risky of a leader he would be. He will pay dearly next Tuesday for such poor judgement.

    They can pretend it's the economy, it's Bush, it's the money, etc - but the GOP lost any chance to win when McCain selected Palin to be one heartbeat away from being the leader of the free world. Not to mentione they have been outcampaigned by a much better candidate.

          She has the highest job approval rating for any Governor in the country. Do you recall John Edwards grilling Obama during the primary debates about his voting present 100 or more times? Do you really want to stand behind a president who cant even stand on his own two feet?

            Why do you claim Palin has the highest approval rating of any Governor? Even if this is true, who cares? Alaska has ferwer people than Austin or Columbus or Memphis or San Francisco.

            Alaska taxes the oil companies, which pass these additional costs on down to the lower 48 states, which in effect means the citizens of Alaska are making money at the rest of the country's expense.

            Hooray for Alaska: "Redistributing wealth" from the rest of the country on its citizen's behalf! Now who is a Socialist?

                Poor billtill. You wouldn't know Socialism if it sat in your lap. When Alaska taxes the oil companies for using its oil fields, and the oil companies pass the cost of this Alaskan tax onto their customers in the lower 48 states, then in effect the Alaska State government is screwing the lower 48. If each Alaska resident (man, woman, and child) gets more than $3,000 PLUS pays no sales tax PLUS pays no state income tax all because of these oil tax revenues, then-you guessed it-the State of Alaska is in effect practicing Socialism by redistributing wealth from the lower 48 to its residents.

                Sarah Palin is a liar and a hypocrite.

                  Actually Mary Landrieu fought to do the same thing in Louisiana by getting money from Oil companies with off shore oil leases on the coast of Louisiana. Have you noticed that Obama has adopted the phrase "Spread the Wealth"? Spread the wealth. I mean there is no need for argument here. He doesn't want people to reap what they sow.           Well they have very similar experience, and all I hear is that she has NO experience, yet thats a reason to not vote for McCain. Sounds like a good reason not to vote for Obama.

    Obama's tax plan is simply to allow to expire the Bush tax cut for those who make over $250k, after deductions. When that cut was proposed, McCain called it "irresponsible" because it helped ontly the rich.

    Ending that Bush tax cut for the rich will allow their tax rate to float back up 1.9% over the current rate.

    This rate will be what it was during the Reagan years, and during the Clinton budget surplus.

    History is useful if you know it.

    I am following in the footsteps of votenow and omaar.
    I will still pay more taxes because of my single status. Which happens to be by God's choice not mine. I do believe in God.
    Social Security, medi-care, and medicaid have already touched our elderly. I know I got the memo and I have been trying very hard to explain why the feds is taking their already low fixed income with such empathy. You know this is on the heals of a majority Democratic house and senate. Just wait until they take full control.

    Most every united States citizen wants a united America. Everyone wants whats best for America.
    Lets go to the war lines. Obama will be the commander in chief who will not honor the flag. He could care less about our flag. Why did Betsy Ross even bother? Francis Scott Key why did he even bother to write the Star Spangled Banner we have honored all these years? Why did we even bother to fight for states under the premise of one nation under God? Will the flag mean nothing? Will our new commander in chief put our children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, etc. in harms way and tell them to stop believing in God? The bible will mean nothing. So how will he honor our military men who believe in One Nation Under God? Can aethiest run this country? Will the White House stop celebrating Christmas? Will we be a cold country? Will we even have the structure that many countries envied us for? Will the churches finally lose their tax status? Wow, I guess all these will be answered in the first 100 days then in two years when America wakes up from the hangover they will put Republicans in control of the house and senate. God Bless America and God help us because Obama does believe in a God I just don't think its the traditional one.

      Which traditional god would that be - the one who says, "vengeance is mine?" or the one who says, "only the meek shall inherit?"

      Would that be the god who believes in an eye for an eye, or the god who believes in turning the other cheek?

      God is in the eye of the beholder, and there are lots of 'traditional' interpretations of god in the Judeo-Christian tradition to chose from. You know - the mainline protestant tradition Obama comes from?.

      Not sure why you think Obama would spend his first 100 days getting rid of flags, bibles or Christmas in the white house - surely he could wait for the second hundred days for all that? I mean, what with the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, our need for a cohesive energy and healthcare policy, and the economic crisis, don't you think he'll be a little busy?

    Wow! I, for one, would be terrified if Palin and McCain get in office. This is not a conservative/liberal, rural/elitist thing. This is a common sense thing. The last thing this nation needs is someone who feeds on division and accusations. Ayres? Come on...that's like saying I am a drug-dealer because my ex-boyfriend back in junior high was convicted in high school, and now teaches kids to stay off of drugs. Oooh! Palin? That is a scary association. The woman cannot handle her own family let alone this nation (pregnant teenage daughter, overbearing husband). This is not gender specific. I am a working mother of three and I am more qualified than this ignorant woman to lead this nation. Should I? No and neither should she. Hillary would have been awesome, but I have grown to acknowledge the power of Obama (and no I am not referring to any supposed antichristian weirdness), and I feel we need someone calling for unity, intelligence and hope. Muslim? Who cares? If you do, then you are a sad sad individual and should pay more attention to religious teaching besides your own. I am a Christian but I feel no distrust of Muslims both here in the US and abroad. I have personally known people who practice Islam, and they are good Americans who cringe everytime someone makes anti-Islamic comments. We are not a Christian nation and people need to realize this. It is not a bad thing. It is as American as apple pie to practice according to your own beliefs. I, for one, would feel more comfortable if my president was an atheist or agnostic rather than suscribe to one religion over the other. Objectivity should be an important part of any elected official. Nevermind the hypocrites of both parties that claim Christianity and then pray at the feet of Wall Street. This country is nearly broken. We need a new agenda. We need new leadership. We need to get off our butts and make sure that whatever the outcome of this election, we are involved in our own governance. This was the intent of the founding fathers. GO VOTE!!!!!!!!!!!

    Obama has 63 Nobel Laureates working on his policy team. They are developing a plan to push America back to the top. Who is responsible for McCain's planning? Americans would be shocked to find that Douglas Holtz-Eakin is the sole person responsible for planning McCain's policy for America's future. Holtz-Eakin is also McCain's economic advisor, filling two full time positions on McCain's team. How can one single man (an economist) be responsible for developing a viable technology plan for our future? Obama has an enormous pool of the most intelligent, talented men and women in America working for him. Soon, they will be working for US.

    And let's not forget that the McCain campaign spent more on Palin's makeup artist than it did on it's foreign policy advisor. When you pay your makeup artist DOUBLE what you pay your foreign policy advisor, it is time to start examining your priorities.

    You look just fine without makeup, John. And Sarah is young enough not to need any. So cut the crap, and start paying some good ECONOMIC ADVISORS so you can have a fiscal plan to present to America. We're in the middle of a huge global financial meltdown, and you are worried about hair and makeup? PLEASE start worrying about the middle class, John. Please.
