"Barack Obama's presidential running-mate Joseph Biden told Israeli officials that they need to accept the idea Iran will acquire nuclear weapons.

Biden, chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, visiting Israel several years ago, told Israeli officials diplomacy and sanctions would be futile against Iran.

On Monday Israel's Army Radio reported details of the comments Biden made when he met with 'senior Israeli officials behind closed doors.'
Reportedly Biden told the officials he opposed 'opening an additional military and diplomatic front' against Iran.

'Israel will have to reconcile itself with the nuclearization of Iran,' Army Radio quoted Biden as telling the Israelis.

Army Radio said that at that time Israeli officials were shocked by Biden's comments.

Within Israel, a consensus across the political spectrum has developed on the Iran matter. Iran's president Ahmnadinejad has stated that he will wipe Israel off the map, making clear his use weapons (sic) of mass destruction against the Jewish state.

At a rally in VA, this morning, Gov. Palin promised a crowd that she and McCain would balance the federal budget by the end of their first term.

She went on to say that Santa Clause and the Easter Bunny would work together, along side w/ Jesus Christ, in order to find and kill Bin Laden.

In this video, Obama, who claims he has "no ties with Acorn" notwithstanding the $800,000 paid to an Acorn group during the primaries, is campaigning at a convention of Acorn and I believe two other Community Activist's organizations. Ask if he will be their ally if he becomes President and pledge to meet with leaders of Acorn and the others in his first year, Obama says, quote:

"Yes, but let me say that before I even get inaugurated, during the transition, we are going to be calling all of you in to help us shape the agenda."

Palin scary? I guess if your a lunatic liberal who hates God, country and everything decent left in America. Here is someone who couldn't be more mainstream American. Definately more than Obama who by his voting record and positions proves he will destroy this country along with his idiot minions Reid and Pelosi. I guess its true what they say. sometimes you have to have a Carter to get a Reagan. I just hope there is enough America to salvage after these socialist get through with her.

I have stated in the past I wasn't sure that all of the posters on this site are legitimate, mostly because I couldn't believe so many people believe it is good policy to cure our poverty problem by giving away money. I have realized that there are a lot of people out there who think with their heart and not with their head. Of course its noble to want to help those that are less needy. But there is a problem with giving to certain people, and it is the fact that it breeds laziness. You democratic leaders understand this perfectly. They don't give the money in hopes of fixing the problem, they hope to make it worse, in order to breed another group of democrat voters. Giving money to the poor does not fix the problem, and democrats don't want it to. Just keep telling yourself that republicans are bad and democrats are good.

An insightful argument, which thinking citizens should keep in mind over the next four years of the first Obama administration; but I must admit that it gives me some concern to see such a cogent and applicable strategy offered here in print for all the mean old Republican / Karl Rove crowd to consider and perhaps implement. Sarah Palin certainly has never had an original idea nor a coherent philosophy of her own; but she could no doubt be guided down the path suggested by those who would exploit her charisma for their own evil ends (even after Cheney expires from that final, hopefully excruciatingly painful and protracted heart attack he so clearly deserves - if only it had happened in 2000 - there will no doubt be another arrogant, hate-filled plutocrat to take his place). I will say nothing about the post-Presidential G.W.B., who will no doubt slink down to his ranchette in Crawford to sulk over the perfidy of the American people. Henry Frost

Sarah Palin has the highest job approval rating for any Governor in the country. Do you recall John Edwards grilling Obama during the primary debates about his voting present 100 or more times? Do you really want to stand behind a president who cant even stand on his own two feet? (Im posting this again because I know you guys really want to respond, just might not have seen it down there)

As an independent, I'm going to pass on this 'spread the wealth' supporter this election season. That comment and belief really strikes me the wrong way...

Wealth, after all, is measured in time. Specifically, how long you can consume your expenses without a job or touching a credit card. In other words, residual assets.

That said, giving poor people or those "unfortunate" a couple thousand dollars a year is not going to make once difference without the proper financial education to use that money to actually build wealth. However, most people who have worked for nothing will just blow the money. Ergo, the only real solution is financial education and getting smarter with your money.

It's nothing but a big lie put out by Obama to get poor, uneducated people, to vote for him. Personally, if you are in this class, you should be upset that Obama is just waving a big T-Bone steak in front of you knowing you won't even get the bone...He can't make you wealthy - only you can do that. I know, he knows it, the sheep ... well ... they don't know it .. yet.

And and here's something I don't see anyone talking about: Obama says he wants to give everyone the same chance of success as Joe the Plumber. Well, what's stopping YOU? You already have that chance right now. Turn off your tube and start making some money on your spare time. Start a home business. Get a second job and invest. Just do something and stop waiting for a hand out...it really won't help you anyway.

Again, there is nothing stopping you from getting out of the rat hole you are in except yourself. Get out your own way and make happen. I grew up on food stamps and welfare - I didn't like it so I went to college and got a job and made good money. Wasn't enough, so I started a business on the side that's rocking...Hey, guess what - no government help either.

I will leave with these words, and you better remember them well.
