It amazes me how I a controversial figure like Palin get so much support from people. It might be that people overlook opinions in these harsh times, but if someone agrees with her, they certainly agree on how she sees science, religion etc...
It amazes me even more that she knows less than I do regarding Bush's politics in how to handle the war. For a governor who should now a little, it???s a kind of bad excuse to refer to be an outsider. And that what people like about her.
Does she have a change in the future? Absolutely. If expectations getting even lower she might end up in Pennsylvania Ave.

The choice is clear. An American or a Citizen of the World. Opportunity or redistribution. Respect for the Constitution or a willingness to undermine it. Trust in the collective wisdom of the American people or trust in his own grandiose self.

Ok marti, now you're on the record. I take it that if Senator Obama is elected you'll agree that the wisdom of the American People triumphed.

You won't be saying that they were wrong or stupid, didn't understand the issues, right?

As a matter of fact, you'll be saying that you must have been wrong or didn't understand.and capiculate, right?

Or will you just change your name?

      • Posted By: josemarti @ 10/27/2008 10:08:09 AM

The election of Obama would be the democratic expression of the collective will of the American people. However, even a great people can be wrong sometimes. Remember the Israelites and their worship of the golden calf. Obama is a golden calf dreamed up by the liberal media.

        • Posted By: Bass Pro @ 10/27/2008 10:24:52 AM

So you don't trust in the will of the American People, right? You and Limbaugh, Hannoty, Matelin, Morris, Bennett, Buchanan, McCain, Palin and OReilly know better, correst? Get your head out of their collective butts and get some aitr to your brain if it's not to late.

          • Posted By: Bass Pro @ 10/27/2008 11:21:28 AM

Where did you go marti? Are you waiting until old lrdbutt limbaugh comes on so you can come up with another orignal thought?

Why don't you tape him and you'l have a ready to go comment at your fingertips?

            • Posted By: josemarti @ 10/27/2008 4:31:50 PM

We clearly have different perspectives. Mine leads me to the following predictions: Under Obama. 1. His policies will be so far to the left, that he will meet opposition from centrists in his own party. 2. He will appoint judges eager to legislate from the bench. 3. Chavez will run wild in South America. 4. Crime rates will go up in the US. 5. Anti-Semitism will raise its ugly head in the US. 6. Gains in Iraq will be reversed. 7. More porous borders. 8. Increased economic turmoil leading him to justify more government. 9. A tyranny of political correctness and cultural relativism. What are your predictions?

        • Posted By: Bass Pro @ 10/27/2008 10:37:11 AM

You've got big ones to mention the Golden Calf. You have been worshiping the Fatted Pig behind the Golden EIB Microphone for over a year now. The Golden Calf is a rehash of his theme of a week ago. Remember "Some misled Democrats that can't think for themselves will worship the Golden Calf". Don't you ever come up with an original thought?

          • Posted By: Bass Pro @ 10/27/2008 10:59:16 AM

excuse the redundancy, I did know the first Golden Calf post went through.

        • Posted By: Bass Pro @ 10/27/2008 10:46:06 AM

That Golden Calf remark is ironicly close to what your own Fatted Pig behind the Golden EIB Microphone said last week. He said that misled Democratic would worshop the golden Calf. Have you ever uttered an original thought? You've been a parrot for the wacko right ever since I've known you.

"American or citizen of the world."

      Not both?
Bush's policies of non-diplomacy and nation building, embraced by McCain, have diminished the American brand, depleted our military leaving us vulnerable to serious threats, and allienated our allies. America now enjoys about the same approval rating internationally as president Bush does at home.

      "Opportunity or Redistribution."

Taxes are ALWAYS a redistribution of wealth. Twisting this to serve one argument is non credible. The opportunities of the past eight years has clearly served only the highest sector of our population. The numbers speak for themselves. 80% of the economic growth in the past 6 years has gone to less than 1% of the population. We now have the largest gap in wealth distribution in our nation's history. The middle class has eroded with more and more Americans falling below poverty level, while the wealthiest Americans have gotten wealthier. Middle Americans are finding it harder and harder to meet basic needs like health care costs, food and energy. So, it's either the majority of Americans are lazy with only the wealthiest Americans taking advantage of opportunity, or the policies in place don't service everyone.

      "Respect for the Constitution."

Pretty broad statement here. Does one candidate respect the Constitution while the other does not? Doesn't seem that way to me. If McCain doesn't bow to the neos like he did in the election, than I think he respects the Constitution as Obama does. The neos only respect the parts that serve them and ignore the parts that don't. Are we talking guns here? The argument that any banning or restriction of some weapons goes against the Constitution seems ridiculous to me. Could our forefathers have foreseen the hideous array of destructive devices we humans have thought up? If it exists, we should all own one?

"Trust in the collective wisdom of the American people or in his grandiose self."

Come on. Partisan mumbo jumbo. Obama possesses great political skill. Is this somehow a negative? Does this not serve a president well? The only reason Republicans throw knives at this, is because "if you can't beat it or join it, trash it." "The collective wisdom of the American People" have run a brilliant campaign, bringing in vast funds, enthusiasm and all that hope the Republicans like to poke fun at. The one thing the Republicans can take joy in, is that they have left the country in such a mess that it will be hard for Obama, if he does win, to have what is viewed as a successful presidency.

    • Posted By: Unbridled Truth @ 10/27/2008 11:44:03 AM

The Republican definition of being a citizen of the world means sending our jobs overseas, increasing the gap between the classes, ruling the world and dictating what other countries can and can not do ... even if it means the very destruction of the middle class, the American way of life and the very nation they live in ... all for the greed and power of the obscenely wealthy few.

    • Posted By: benkrapf @ 10/27/2008 10:42:40 AM

Why can't Americans be citizens of the world? We live in it, after all.

This provincial attitude is what fosters unilateralism, such as the type we've been subjected to these last 8 years.

As far as "opportunity" versus "redistribution," Obama's goal of rebuilding the middle class allows for both opportunity and the redistribution of wealth.

We just saw our government perpetrate the single largest socialist act ever seen on American soil. Unfortunately, its benefits were aimed at those people specifically responsible for getting us in this mess in the first place.

Don't you want our next President to help you get your money back?

As an Independent women I find it ironic how Palin has been based on her experience. She actually has experiecne and has taken on her own party. Thats not important I guess, lest keep tp politics as usual. What experience does Obama have? The Democracts lost my vote when they picked Obama over Hilary. Why? Because the democrats knew Obama would be the puppet they needed and he would not cross the people that bought his seat into the white house.

I think the race has made a joke out of women altogether. Its funny how even women bash Palin when she is clearly soemone women should apire to be. Educated, succesul in both her family life and professional life. Oh but she is pro-life right, so therfore she is less of a women. Its amazing how Row vs Wade has come full circle and now women who choose life are less of femenist. I believe in choice but as a mother of two I find it amazing how Palin has been vilinized because of her choice & despite all of her accomplisments....

Lastly...Hilary, Obama, & Palin were all political moves not to show how america has grown but rather to get their party in the white house....in the mist of it all women were pushed to the side (Hilary & Palin) despite their years of experince....I vote experience as I would if I were hiring a member of my staff...McCain & Palin.

If it wasn't for the women who fought for my right to vote I would like sit this one out.

ROSEZY OR WHOEVER YOU ARE: Cut the crap about the "WOMEN OR WOMAN" NONSENSE! America is comprised of PEOPLE. When I purshase gasoline for my vehicle, I have yet to see a "MALE OR FEMALE" PUMP or price difference predicated on GENDER. Grow up and get over your GENDER problem! You nor anyone else alive had ANY control over the gender they would become during conception. I am a male but does that make me LEFT HANDED? Does they in and of itself, make me MORE human than a female? I THINK NOT!!!! What it does make me is a HUMAN BEING, MOMO SAPIEN and a living, breathing person like millions of other PEOPLE. YOU, ME AND EVERYONE HAVING A PULSE ALL HAVE ONE THING IN COMMON; WE ALL BREATHE IN AND OUT TO SUSTAIN LIFE. GET A GRIP AND A REAL LIFE; ENOUGH OF THE "FEMALE" STUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dan Quayle faded into obscurity, because he didn't have the intellect (like Nixon) or gravitas (like Reagan). Palin, whose campaign sounds like she's running for First Lady, not commander in chief, will be, in the long term, another embarrassment to national Republic politics. Meanwhile, we have the national embarrassment of thousands of blue-collar men openly declaring their lust for her. This is _SO_ not the dignified, businesslike Republican party that my dad supported in the 1950s.

Yes, I find talking about sacrificing and killing babies extremely offensive, particularly when it is done in such a callous and cavalier way, to make a political point. The babies ARE innocent - you are quite willing to use them as a punchline.

It amazes me how the right wing (to think I used to consider myself a conservative!) is so concerned about other people's children BEFORE they are born, but are the first to send them off to war when they are 18. So... it's only a sin if they are babies, but not if they are 18 to be killed? Right. Got it.

Throw our number one recruiter for Senator Obama? I don't think so. Olecornholyo is a mouth-breather to be sure but he has his place. In addition to being a vital player in this election, he has also done his part in destroying his fellow commenters who have complemented him for the past year, like josemarti.

He's harmless to us and he reminds us of Joe the Plumber to a great degree. He has no morals, only interested in his own welfare and is one ignorant sub-human. That's right he's a Republican. He's gotta be because no Republican has ever had a harsh word to say about him.

Who is Jonathan Darman, and why does Newsweek give such an intellectual light-weight a platform for mouthing the rhetoric of the uneducated, the unthinking, and the ideologically wretched extreme right? Jo the Journalist clearly does not understand that we've tried their ways the last 8 years and in the process managed to destroy our military, the economy and our relations with the rest of the world.

To suggest that Sarah Palin can and should reinvent the Republican Party is a cruel joke to the proud traditionalists of this once Grand Old Party. The future of the party is to go back to its roots as represented by Congressman Ron Paul: A fiscally responsible small government that places a priority on resolving domestic issues.

Let the Palins go back to running their own show under the Alaskan Independence Party banner. They can attract all of the poor, the stupid, and the religiously overzealous fringe elements to Alaska, and we can then sell that state back to Russia, assuming they'll even take it back.

That's no different than the fundamentalist Muslims that your kind reflexively refer to as "terrorists" (which by extension make you domestic terrorists). Response by Concerned Ctzn @ 10/26/2008 5:14:53 PM

No worries Nins, the Dems got this election pretty much wrapped up. With all the voter fraud going on and the discreet rumor that the Electorate has been strong-armed and/or bought off, heck, the game was over B4 it started. Sheesh! Sad. Sad. Sad!

We're looking at the EXACT REVERSE SITU' of what happened in 2000. You remember folks! When W & Co. stole the W.H. from Gore. Yup! As we all know, Gore won the Pop-Vote fair & square, yet the Electoral College (EC) ultimately crowned W the winner. I'm not gonna lie, I voted for W the first time around---not second time though---but fair is fair. Gore got robbed! Well ... I guess it's payback time huh?

Moral of the story: APPARENTLY, IN THE DARK WORLD OF POLITICS, TWO WRONG DO MAKE A RIGHT.

    Pathetic!!!!

There's only one thing that can possible alter this FIXED ELECTION. Big number turnout (voters) for McCain/Palin! This is a direct call to all Conservatives, Traditionalist, Independents, Realist, Christians, etc, to vote in record numbers this year for the MAVERICK TEAM! As a united front, we need to put extreme pressure on the EC so that they just can't dismiss the Popular Vote like they did in 2000. John McCain needs every moderate and conservative vote out there in order to pull off an upset over this RIGGED ELECTION!

JOHN MC CAIN / SARAH PALIN '08!

Maverick, Smaverick!! Just more lies!! Fixed election??? Gee, guess it doesn't matter that you own side had tried to fix a bunch too. Shutting out voters in OH and MI because their houses are in foreclosure; or how about trying to corner the union miners in WVA into having to vote for MCCain because the high-ups in the company want MC, of course!! Or how about the REPUB legislature in FL shortening time for the early voting so it will be more hectic on Nov. 4th!! SUPPOSE THAT'S NOT FIXING AN ELECTION,...........................YEH, RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Listen Concerned Ctzn, I'm a moderate Republican, and this is EXACTLY what I'm talking about. This election is NOT RIGGED. The problem is that we as Republicans have to face the reality of what happens when you build a house on sand. I like John McCain, but his choice of Sarah Palin as a running mate typifies the kind of useless and unsubstantively insulting dumbing down of our party to the lowest common denominator. We need to get back to a conservative philosophy which speaks to INTELLIGENCE and REASON rather than FAITH and IGNORANCE. Only then can we be successful. Our party made this bed, now it has to sleep in it, and hopefully our leaders will learn their lesson about pandering to the stupid.

I am an older white Christian woman with children and grandchildren, including adopted "special needs" children. Politically, I see myself as a moderate. Though I have worked most of my life outside the home, my financial resources are somewhat limited. It disturbs me greatly to see and hear the hatred expressed by both sides in this election campaign. Having said this, I wish to add that I wholeheartedly support Obama for our next president and that the idea of Palin being a heartbeat away from the presidency should McCain be elected is frightening to me. No, she does not speak for me or for most of the women I know, even among my friends who are voting Republican and praying that McCain stays healthy throughout his tenure.

If Palin becomes the Republican standard bearer, a third party will emerge representing the center. A huge chunk of the voting public is sick and tired of the moronic extremists and how the quality bar has been lowered to ground level for both parties' presidential candidates. Palin represents a empty headed approach to public service so typical of a majority of our politicians. She's done. If the 'guys' want to look at pinup pictures, they can be bought at any magazine rack. The country doesn't need a spacy beauty queen in a major public office.

We have a right to have our voices heard. You don't understand real Americans and what it really means to love God and Country.

      • Posted By: 4carol @ 10/27/2008 4:02:06 PM

Am so tired of hearing your "real Americans"!!! You are disgusting and selfish!! We are all real Americans!!! GROW UP AND GET A LIFE!!!

      • Posted By: PaulStewart @ 10/26/2008 6:57:12 PM

It is thinking like yours that gets America in trouble. All Americans are real ones, and all are patriots and all love their country. If you don't get that and think you and the Republicans and Palin are the exclusive ones. Well, you are just plain wrong. It ain't so.

    • Posted By: benivarius @ 10/26/2008 6:12:19 PM

Absolutely. And aren't you personally offended that that's all the more our party thinks of us? That being a conservative is mostly about a cute, fundamentalist VP choice who doesn't know anything about the real conservative economic and governance platforms? Picking her was catering to the most shallow and unthinking aspects of our party, and that crap needs to GO! We need our party to the the thinking man's party, not the shallow end of the intellectual pool.

      • Posted By: mccaincursingonyoutube @ 10/26/2008 6:49:36 PM

Being that you are so smart. Who do you want to run the party. Who do you think is the future leader of the party.

        • Posted By: benivarius @ 10/26/2008 6:59:42 PM

At this point I don't know. We will have the next three years to see how our party (hopefully) reorganizes itself, and we will just have to wait and see who comes to the forefront. NOT SARAH PALIN, PLEASE GOD. More than anything, I'm just really dissapointed that we didn't get the McCain I remember from earlier elections.

Who is bested suited to lead in these difficult times? The two candidates have had to deal with both a major presidential level decision and a global crisis in the past couple months.

We just witnessed as good a side by side crisis test as you could ask for. Both candidates had to respond to the global financial meltdown, which John's campaign manager Rick Davis called "the worst financial crisis in our nation's history." It was John McCain who was late to recognize what was happening and then couldn't figure out how to respond. He made a dramatic show of suspending his campaign because he knew he needed to seize the initiative politically, but then didn???t seem to have any coherent position once he took charge. It doesn't inspire confidence when you say you're going to do something and then back down within days.

On the critical matter of selecting a VP who would step into the presidency in an emergency, John McCain gives as an unintelligent mediocrity without knowledge or experience in national and international issues. Palin clearly was chosen to fire up the religious right base, but she has little appeal to the vast swath of America. Obama's VP pick is Sentor Joe Biden, who clearly has foreign policy chops and could legitimately step into the Oval Office should the need arise.

John's horrendous POW experience did nothing to prepare him for the job of president. A captive soldier must cope with a situation in which he or she has no control and can decide nothing. A President of the United States must make good decisions over and over again. Barack Obama has demonstrated the intelligence, calmness and good judgment we so desperately need in a leader for these troubled times. He has been tested repeatedly in this marathon campaign and he has risen to meet every challenge, sticking to his message of hope and change, and not falling into the low-life mud slinging we have seen from McCain.

Obama has better judgement, better temperament, better manners and better ideas that John McCain. I'm a middle-aged white female Christian Republican, and I am voting for Barack Obama.

obama is a closet ani-american. this is the sad part, his closet is wide open, but a liberal is too stupid to look inside and see whats going on. you people are going to vote in the worst disaster ever, because you are too scared to be accused of being a racist, as if the very fact obama is running for president exempts him from the possibility that he has bad intentions. or at the very least, stupid intentions. go to this website, take this test and then come back and tell me you agree with his views: www.barackobamatest.com

ahahaha...you couldn't insult me, i know more than you! what I do know is that you guys are willing to accept a man who has more ties radical people than the Osama and want to brush off doubters as haters or racists. you guys are airheads. and if you are working for a living, and that doesn't mean writing political commentary for a magazine straight out of college and whos only influence on your views is the liberal magazine itself, then you would understand what it means to not want your money taken, redistributed to bums, and/or shipped off to the rest of the world to solve a problem that has no solution.

    • Posted By: benkrapf @ 10/27/2008 3:13:43 PM

This test panders to the lowest common denominator. Not surprisingly, it is being touted by biltill!

      • Posted By: billtill @ 10/27/2008 3:24:47 PM

Do you believe Obama is gonna do good by pushing a fairness agenda that will be uncontested by congress and will eventually result in the average high school dropout fckup making the same amount of money (or being allowed to have the same amount of stuff) as a doctor or anyone else who actually prefers to keep what they earn and not give it to some dumbfk lazy a$$e$ such as yourself?

        • Posted By: Doc Howl @ 10/27/2008 3:48:55 PM

Keep up with the hyperbole. It's been the best help Obama could ask for.

billtill, You're smart and the rest of the world is stupid. Thanks for the heads up.

Your welcome! Now get a brain! Voat McCain!

    • Posted By: cferns1530 @ 10/27/2008 2:50:28 PM

There is no need for a test. McCain has already taken it. It's called pandering. Like for example agreeing with Bush on almost all his policies, continuously striving for deregulation, asking for his approval and then distancing himself to avoid negative publicity.
Best of all, he selected a female version of Bush as his VP. And you were saying.....test?

  • Posted By: max in fl @ 10/27/2008 3:50:59 PM

PLEASE, no one believe that this election is over until ALL the votes are counted. The democrats have to have enough votes to COVER the people that will be turned away AND the votes that will be LOST..

  • Posted By: rockye @ 10/27/2008 3:49:37 PM

IN MY OPINION: IF PALIN WOULD STOP MOCKING HER OPPONENETS AND LYING TO THE VOTERS, SHE WOULD DO BETTER AT THE POLLS. HOWEVER, SHE HAS NO OTHER RECOURSE BECAUSE SHE DOES NOT KNOW BETTER. SHER HAS NOTHING TO RELY ON FOR SUBSTANCE THAT WOULD MERIT HER AND THE REPUBLICAN PARTY.

SHE SOUNDS LIKE A LOOSE CANNON FIRING SHORT ROUNDS ( ROUNDS WITH NOT ENOUGH POWER IN THEM). SHE SOUNDS AWFUL. IF ONLY SHE WOULD LISTEN TO HERSELF WITH HER HEART, MIND, AND SOUL, AND NOT DENY THE FACT THAT SHE IS NOT READY FOR MAJOR LEAGUE POLITICS, SHE WOULD HAVE A BETTER CHANCE NEXT TIME.

SHE MUST NOT FORGET NOT TO LIE TO THE AMERICAN VOTERS, WE ARE NOT ALASKANS. SHE MUST STOP IMPERSONATING A LEADER AND BEING A WANA-BE-DEMOCRAT, IN ORDER GIVE THEIMRESSION OF REPRESENTING THE CHANGE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE NEED.

    GO OBAMA. GO.

  • Posted By: billtill @ 10/27/2008 3:44:31 PM

Wait a second, did you guys take the test? Did you notice that Obamas views were in the minority on every single issue? Are your eyes still closed? Do you still not think that they only reason he gets any support is because stupid people such as yourselves are caught in reverse discrimination?

    • Posted By: Doc Howl @ 10/27/2008 3:47:11 PM

Naw. I'm voting for him for many reasons, but the best reason is this:

His name is not John McCain.

      • Posted By: billtill @ 10/27/2008 3:49:06 PM

Whats up doc, haven't talked to you in a while. So what are your reasons?

  • Posted By: PaulStewart @ 10/26/2008 6:22:02 PM

Clearly, America needs and is voting for change. The only way to get it is to get rid of the partisan gridlock. We know the Republicans are not capable of dealing in good faith on that. If there is a risk with giving Obama the House and Senate, it pales in comparison to the opportunity to put things right.

Obama is seeking change. Big change, but not to some new radical thing. The change he is seeking is to restore America to her fundamental values, to her strengths. To rejuvenate the founding principles, the moral principles, the principles of freedom, democracy and the American Way. It is incredible to witness that revolutionary change is needed to restore America to her own principles. To restore that shining beacon on the hill, to restore the American Dream.....

And America needs to move quickly, she is far behind, there is indeed a fierce urgency of now.....

    • Posted By: 4carol @ 10/27/2008 3:32:44 PM

You're absolutely correct in all! Isn't it shame and a bit sad though, that under the Bush years our principles were stripped away? Just to think that they must and hopefully will be restored should make everyone think about who they vote for on Nov. 4th!!!!

  • Posted By: hitobito @ 10/26/2008 5:03:22 PM

You give Sarah Palin too much credit. There is very little in your background experience that would suggest that she could be an electable candidate for the GOP. Too far to the extreme right on too many issues, a very light education, very poor command of spoken English in extemporaneous dialogue, and no foreign or national policy experience. If Sarah Palin manages to keep her job as Governor of a backwater state, she will have exceeded her Peter Principle!

    • Posted By: mccaincursingonyoutube @ 10/26/2008 5:15:34 PM

Palin has ethics and speaks to the heart and soul of real Americans. These Americans love to kill, fight, and hate in the of God.

Loving the American values that make this country the best on earth.

You may think she is dumb, but she speaks for real Americans and our hearts, and you don't have to be a Harvard - Juris Doctor (J.D.) Magna ***-Laude to speak for us.

      • Posted By: ProudWomanProfessional @ 10/26/2008 5:22:51 PM

"Palin has ethics'????? Where? In using her children as political props? In supporting her child dropping out of high school and encouraging her to marry another high school dropout? In getting even with someone who crossed her family and having his boss fired? In using taxpayer funds to transport her children? In getting paid to sleep in her own bed and having the taxpayers reimburse her? In getting sweetheart deals to improve her home? In inciting others to racially discriminate? In taking a stand as a normal, no, make that REAL American and then pointing fingers at those who 'handled' her and cried that she didn't even know the clothes were expensive? in supporting and encouraging a rogue group to take a state out of the union? P-L-E-A-S-E! If what she demonstrates are ethics, then I'll get as far to the other side as possible.

If Sarah Palin represents the Republican party then I will absolutely not only follow my vote to the Democratic party, but re-register as one as well. Sarah Palin does not represent THIS woman, or any of the fine women in my life I've worked with, cried with and struggled to gain respect. No way, no how.

        • Posted By: 4carol @ 10/27/2008 3:15:54 PM

Proud...Ms. Palin is a disgrace to women everywhere and in every profession!! And not only has she NO ethics, she is the laughing stock of the world!! We may as well all move to Europe or ?? if she is ever elected; because women, at least, will have no rights left!! She will not only put us back to back alley abortions; she will devour what's left OUR earth with her policies!!! She is a far right horror!!!!

Whaaa, whaa, whaa, those evil Republicans and their glass ceiling, whaaaaaa....

"Proud..."---you said it extremely well! Thank you.

      • Posted By: 4carol @ 10/27/2008 3:05:22 PM

When you kill, fight, hate, and wage war, IT IS NOT IN THE NAME OF GOD!! God is not an advocate of these things; he is an advocate of peace for ALL, NOT JUST YOU REPUBS AS YOU WOULD LIKE TO THINK!!! It's no wonder you've gotten where you are; you continue to go further and further Right away from the masses and your own (supposed) morals!!

  • Posted By: Achilles22 @ 10/27/2008 2:47:37 PM

You mean WHEN the GOP loses. And yes - the smart voices of the party have long since admitted she was a terrible pick. In addition to being utterly unqualified, she is a base pick when elections are won in the middle. (How much do they pay these nimrods to manage this fiasco? I will do it far better for half!). The fact that McCain can STILL say with a straight face of how proud he is of her is a slap in the face to anyone with a brain, and underscores yet again how risky of a leader he would be. He will pay dearly next Tuesday for such poor judgement.

They can pretend it's the economy, it's Bush, it's the money, etc - but the GOP lost any chance to win when McCain selected Palin to be one heartbeat away from being the leader of the free world. Not to mentione they have been outcampaigned by a much better candidate.
