I'm not sure how what I really think of this article. It reminds me too much of those "what if" scenarios you see in science fiction or videogames or whatnot.

You can surely find whatever it is you think democrats don't do at their rallies. Also, if you want, search for Madonna or John Cucask or Whoopi Goldberg to name a few. I think if Obama loses it will be due to organizations like Newsweek. Your endless bias in his favor, erasing any sign of impartiality, Alter's demands that HRC quit even though the prolonged battle actually helped him, and lastly diatribes like this that even a college educated man like myself find elitist.
Obama will win, not because he is a great candidate, because he's the best of the two candidates. A strong GOP challenger could have made this a tighter race and maybe could have made this a squeaker that breaks late to the right. McCain's campaign has been so mind-numbingly inept that I echo Jon Stewart's comment "Are you even trying anymore?"
Commentaries like this, being printed in the weeks before the election, going on how if Obama loses that it's sign that America's ignorant, or is declining a great challenge of the 21st century is hogwash.
I'm voting for him, but I don't care about his color or his "change". I believe the man is smart, organized, and is capable of surrounding himself with people who he'll actually listen to and will make the best decisions based on their qualified assessments.

Please admit that McCain is a fine candidate, he's just ran a bad campaign and isn't as gifted as Obama is in leadership skills.
