Why is it racism when white republicans support McCain? Where is the outrage over >97% black support of Obama? I am sick of reading and hearing this garbage about "white racism" and not one word about "black racism" at the polls. True, there will be a number of white people who vote for McCain, but it is insulting to hear this garbage that they are "republican." If you had once ounce of courage, try writing this article again, but this time reverse the article from Obama to McCain and "white republican" with "black american."

Why would we want a president who wants to make America socialist? I'm sorry, but people who don't try and just live off government checks do not DESERVE the same benefits I have. If you have a 4.0 GPA, and you work your butt off for it, would you give your friend(who has a 2.0 and parties and does not try) 1.0 off your GPA so you guys both have 3.0? Voter registration fraud is wrong, but it doesn't equal voter fraud. The Justice Department prosecuted exactly 24 people for voter fraud. At least one of the attorneys Gonzales fired lost his job because he simply couldn't find any. Who's going to risk going to prison for the sake of one vote? On the other hand, hundreds of thousands of people have been intimidated, had their names scrubbed from voter rolls, had their registration thrown out over minor paperwork errors and forced to cast provisional ballots that were never counted. It's going on right now, and it's a way bigger problem than ACORN's wino employees trying to make a dishonest buck. Crooked GOP election officials should be the biggest story of this campaign.

If we had any real confidence in our elecion systems, democrats would be more relaxes. Senator Obama should win but we know that the republicans have cheated regularly in elections.
I know that I want to know on election day not just the regular results but how many provisional and uncounted votes exist for each state. There have already registrations rejected for not checking a box on a confusing form, over 5,000 of those I believe and they were in a mostly democratic area of CO. The president has asked the DOJ to get involved in the republican 'voter caging' efforts. So the anxiety I am afraid is not whether a majority of americans will vote for senator Obama. The anxiety is whether we can get a strong enough majority to overcome all of the cheating and voter supression.
I believe we need to wait until every provisional ballot is counted if we need them to win. We need to be prepared to wait for the election results and not allow the election to be stolen again.-

You don't read the news closely. Obama is ACORN's legal representative and ACORN tried to file absentee votes for all the Dallas Cowboys and their cheerleaders in NV. In Ohio they gave 73 absentee applications to one man.
Now, if the Democrats are so pure.......how did they nominate a man who has Indonesian Citizenship and when his stepfather adopted him that cancelled his US citizenship totally. I do not support either candidate and will be voting for an Independent candidate (yes I am aware it is throwing my vote away, but better to vote my conscience). That said I am perplexed. McCain supporters are very much about bringing up Ayers, Wright, and Obama not putting his hand over his heart etc. The part that leaves me confused is, if this all bothers you how can you support a ticket with Palin on it?
First her husband is a member of the Alaskan Independence party that wants Alaska to succeed from the US. Palin herself spoke at one of their meetings. There is not logic that can associate being a secessionist with being a US patriot, in the least. The Party its self has some very questionable ties to shady organizations.
Then there is the matter of her being blessed by her minister to protect her from WITCHCRAFT! I do not agree with Wright but knowing the era he grew up in, filled with racial inequality and strife, I can at least understand where he is coming from. Belief in witchcraft I cannot understand even a little bit. The psychology behind that kind of belief involved in thinking witchcraft is a viable threat is frightening on to many levels.

How amazing it is that the author can say "where the astonishing Republican margins among whites could be attributed only to race" and we're supposed to be apalled that people could be so racist. Yet, we've been hearing thru this entire campaign about how much the blacks support Obama and that is Ok. So...if I hear the media correctly...to vote for someone because they are black is fine, but to vote for someone because they are white is a terrible thing. Sorry, but I'm not buying it. Racism is racism, no matter what color it comes in. And if Obama wins, it will be because of racisim...of all the black americans who couldn't care less about voting before, but now are flooding the polls to vote for a "brother."
