An Obama "Victory" should be the END of the American WHITES,of their CIVILIZATION. This ANTI-WHITES AFRICAN is RACIST and hides his HATE behind WORDS about NOTHING (like "CHANGE","American DREAM" turned to NIGHTMARE ! etc). This guy and his lib-dem team are DEADLY DANGEROUS for the NAIVE American WHITES,who still believe in beautiful BRAINWASHING WORDS. McCain or Apocalypse now!

Obama has 63 Nobel Laureates working on his policy team. They are developing a plan to push America back to the top. Who is responsible for McCain's planning? Americans would be shocked to find that Douglas Holtz-Eakin is the sole person responsible for planning McCain's policy for America's future. Holtz-Eakin is also McCain's economic advisor, filling two full time positions on McCain's team. How can one single man (an economist) be responsible for developing a viable technology plan for our future? Obama has an enormous pool of the most intelligent, talented men and women in America working for him. Soon, they will be working for US.

And let's not forget that the McCain campaign spent more on Palin's makeup artist than it did on it's foreign policy advisor. When you pay your makeup artist DOUBLE what you pay your foreign policy advisor, it is time to start examining your PRIORITIES.

You look just fine without makeup, John. And Sarah is young enough not to need any. So cut the crap, and start paying some good ECONOMIC ADVISORS so you can have a fiscal plan to present to America. We're in the middle of a huge global financial meltdown, and you are worried about hair and makeup? PLEASE start worrying about the middle class, John. Please.

CAN ANYBODY HERE TELL ME IF THESE BO QUOTES ARE TRUE? OR ARE THEY JUST A BUNCH OF BS? PLEASE ADVISE!

From Dreams of My Father: 'I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites.'

From Dreams of My Father : 'I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother's race.'

From Dreams of My Father: 'There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white.'

From Dreams of My Father: 'It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names.'

From Dreams of My Father: 'I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father's image, the black man, son of Africa , that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself , the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, DuBois and Mandela.'

And FINALLY the Most Damning one of ALL of them!!!

From Audacity of Hope: 'I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.'

So, you take a smear email, cut it and paste it here as truth, without even investigating? No wonder you're voting for McCain.

    • Posted By: wendydk @ 10/30/2008 2:45:54 PM

Factcheck.org debunked these claims. See the truth at http://www.factcheck.org/askfactcheck/did_obama_write_that_he_would_stand.html

Glad to help if you are honestly looking for truth. Go to http://fightthesmears.com/articles/4/therealquote and you will see why these quotes are part of a smear campaign. As an example, the full context for the last quote...

      SMEAR EMAIL
???I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.???

      THE TRUTH
FULL QUOTE From Dreams From My Father:

Whenever I appear before immigrant audiences, I can count on some good-natured ribbing from my staff after my speech; according to them, my remarks always follow a three-part structure: ???I am your friend,??? ???[Fill in the home country] has been a cradle of civilization,??? and ???You embody the American dream.??? They???re right, my message is simple, for what I???ve come to understand is that my mere presence before these newly minted Americans serves notice that they matter, that they are voters critical to my success and full-fledged citizens deserving of respect.

Of course, not all my conversations in immigrant communities follow this easy pattern. In the wake of 9/11, my meetings with Arab and Pakistani Americans, for example, have a more urgent quality, for the stories of detentions and FBI questioning and hard stares from neighbors have shaken their sense of security and belonging. They have been reminded that the history of immigration in this country has a dark underbelly; they need specific assurances that their citizenship really means something, that America has learned the right lessons from the Japanese internments during World War II, and that I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction. [Page 260-261]

For those who remember what happened in Nazi Germany, Senator Obama's comments in context show the courage and the moral decency we should expect of an American president.

        Neos,

thank you thank you thank you! I am so tired of this misquotes being spewed as truth. I have Obama's books and know for a fact that these are not something that he would say. Another thing even IF he really had thoughts such as these, Obama just does not strike me as someone who is STUPID enough to put these kind of hateful views in writing!

Some times it is just a common sense thing! Thanks again, but then of course you are what is the phrase oh right "In the Tank" for Obama so what else could we expect LOL! Being in the Tank is a good thing and it seems that there are more of us in the tank for Obama than not!

        Have a wonderful day.

Now Barack Hussein Obama is a close friend of and praises a PLO supporter in Rashid Khalidi
and the LA Times has the video tape proof.

Obama makes Bill Belichek look like an angel with all these disturbing videos floating around of
    Obama's radical associations.

It???s pretty easy for Obama or anyone else to attack George Bush on his economic policies but Obama can't attack George Bush on his record on fighting terrorists to protect America while he
is busy wining and dining with terrorists !!

Barack Hussein Obama should be tried for treason and being a threat to US national security.

Barack says he has the right to distribute your money the way he sees fit. That???s dictatorship.

You may have had a chance to see a video in which Sean Hannity of Fox News tries to paint Senator Barack Obama as anti-Israel on the grounds that he knows Prof. Rashid Khalidi, currently the Director of the Middle East Institute at Columbia University.

Here are a few things that Hannity hides from us in this video:

Hannity does not tell us that the ???Arab organization??? that Khalidi founded is the Arab American Action Network, which was established to provide economic and social support to Arab immigrants in Chicago. He does not want us to know that the organization works with the Illinois Department of Human Services and its case managers to provide interpretation services specifically intended for Arab-Americans in Chicago who receive public benefits.

Hannity does not tell us that the Woods Fund for which Obama was a director provided funding to the Arab American Action Network in order for it to help the struggling Arab immigrant community in Chicago, and that the Arab American Action Network is one of hundreds of organizations which the Woods Fund supports. The organizations supported are as diverse as the Chicago community, and they include the Jewish Council on Urban Affairs, an organization that is ???dedicated to combating poverty, racism, and anti-Semitism.??? Read more about organizations supported by the Woods Fund.

Hannity does not tell us that Khalidi and Obama were both professors at the University Of Chicago, because this might reasonably cause us to suspect that their relationship is one of former co-workers and does not involve any instance in which Obama endorsed or agreed with Khalidi???s views.

Hannity does not tell us that he does not have any evidence to back up his claim that Khalidi used to be a paid employee of the PLO when it was designated a terrorist organization. He says only that Khalidi was ???allegedly??? a member of the PLO. As reported by CBS News, ???Khalidi says he was never employed by the PLO; he has been a harsh critic of Palestinian suicide bombings and a longtime supporter of a two-state solution.???

Hannity does not tell us anything about Daniel Pipes, the man who speaks about Obama in the segment. He does not tell us that Pipes is the subject of controversy over his plans to speak at an event organized by Pastor John Hagee, who said that God sent Hitler to create the Holocaust so the Jews would have to go to Israel. Read Pipes??? statement on the Hagee issue.

In short, Hannity???s segment about Obama and Khalidi is a smear based on fear, not facts. Obama???s incredible success as a candidate, despite this and the many other scurrilous smears that have been flung at him, proves that, as Obama himself has said, Americans are fed up with negative campaigning and ready to use facts, not rumor and innuendo, to choose the best candidate.

Since 1956, front-runners in late October lost the popular vote only twice after being ahead in the Gallup poll a week before Election Day, according to that polling organization's analysis.

So I guess if you live along I-4 corridor in Florida and you you vote for McCain, then you must be a member of the Klu Klux Klan. Right? I mean, why else would anyone in their right mind vote against the most unqualified, radical, left-wing, America-hating WACKO that has ever run for President? It just has to be because of the color of his skin. After all, Republicans couldn't possibly be smart enough to vote for or against a particular candidate based solely on the issues. Right?

Keep up the good work, Alter. We're constantly running low on toilet paper at our house and I'm always looking for something to wipe with...

    • Posted By: nmcalpine @ 10/30/2008 2:10:47 PM

Hell republicans were dumb enough to elect the worst President in George Bush so...It isn't to far fetched to beleive that they don't follow the issues!

I have volunteered for Obama in Pennsylvania several times and the enthusiasm level for him there is AMAZING. Yesterday, I started working in Ohio, expecting that I would get a lot of hostility because I was in a VERY Republican small town, but it turns out that about 70% of everyone I talked to had already voted, and already voted for Obama.

If Obama wins either Pennsylvania or Ohio, McCain will be conceding the election by 11 pm.

    Oh Happy Day!

"The astonishing Republican margins could only be attributed to race." This is the most irresponsible thing you could write. What Republicans would vote for a white candidate who is only one-third as liberal as Obama. if he loses, it can only be Democratic racism to blame.

Supreme Court Justice John Marshall said that "the power to tax is the power to destroy." The power to tax in the wrong hands can certainly bring destruction to our economy and even to our country. I submit to you that the power to tax in the hands of Barack Obama is dangerous: Dangerous to you personally, and dangerous to the very fabric of our Republic.
Just take a look at some of the rhetoric Barack Obama uses when he talks of his plans to increase taxes on the evil, hated rich. In a television interview with (I think) Charles Gibson, Obama was asked if he understood that tax increases have often resulted in decreases in government revenue. Obama responded that he was aware of this fact. He was then asked why, then, would he be so eager to raise taxes? Obama responded that, to him, tax increases were simply a matter of "fairness." In other words, Obama didn't wish to use the police power of the state to collect taxes necessary for the legitimate functions of government; he wanted to use his taxing power to promote some vaporous "fairness" in our economy. After all, as Obama put it, the people he wants to tax have more money than they actually need and he wants to give that money to people who really do need it.
I know I've heard something like that somewhere before. Wait! I think I have it. "From each according to his ability, to each according to his need." Some character named Marx made slogan quite popular around 1875. You can yell, scream, spin around on your eyebrows and spit wooden nickels all you want, but what Barack Obama is pushing here, at least insofar as his tax policies are concerned, is communism. This shouldn't come as a surprise considering Obama's self-professed affinity for communist student groups and communist professors during his undergraduate years. Oh, you didn't read that? A little communism or socialism never really hurt anyone that you can remember. Besides, Europe is telling us that they'll like us again if we vote for Obama. That pretty much overrules everything, doesn't it?

This quote is most often attributed to someone named Alexander Tyler writing in 1787 about the fall of the Athenian Republic. This quote goes to the heart of this presidential election:
"A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship."

  • Posted By: neocon @ 10/30/2008 10:12:21 AM

In fact, hasn't this pretty much been the theme of Democrat Party election politics for nearly as long as you can remember? Here we have Barack Obama promising that he's only going to raise taxes on the evil rich who make over $250,000 a year while 95% of Americans will get tax cuts. Think of this in terms of votes; higher taxes for 5% of the voters, lower taxes for the other 95%. It really doesn't take all that much brainpower to figure out how this is going to work at in an election does it? You take money away from the people whose votes you don't need, and give it to the people whose votes you do need. So very simple. The result is that people have, in fact, discovered that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. Who is promising those wonderful goodies? That would be Barack Obama. Just what percentage of voters out there do you think are going to vote for Obama simply because he is promising them someone else's money? My guess is that the number would be high enough to constitute the margin of victory for The Great Redistributionist.

Holy smokes.... I am glad the concerned Canadian is in Canada! I read the article by Alter (who has become one of the few goto media people I like) and this article really hit home for me. Unfortunately I am not as optimistic as he but share his views on how this might turn out. I had thought I would go to Canada if McCain/Palin won but now I am not so sure... maybe Mexico?

This is the worst piece of journalism I have read in a long time.

His only explaination for an Obama loss is that because the voters are uneducated and racist.

So much for unbiased journalism where they explore all the facts and look at other people's point of view. Did it ever occur to you that other people have different views and values? Maybe they dont want to vote for Obama because of his policies. Or because of his inexperience. Maybe they were fed up with the elecotral system and voted for Nader. Maybe they valued McCain's foreign policy experience.

No, sorry anyone who doesnt vote for Obama is stupid, wrong and racist. No other explaination necessary as biased journalism doesnt have to tell the whole story.

    • Posted By: moderateleaningMcCain @ 10/29/2008 11:39:30 PM

You're right, Alter's argument is that McCain supporters are "stupid, wrong and racist" - so on the flip side, if you vote for Obama, you are intelligent, insightful and open-minded... or, just a childless, live-with-mom-and-dad, twenty-something FLAKE.

Just watched the Nobama infommercial and must admit it brought tears to my eyes. Only problem was had I given in to my emotions the tears would have made it harder to clean up the vomit that the ad produced. Obama is the most self centered blowhard I've ever seen. The irony is the only way he was able to create the ad was to flip flop on his pledge to follow campaign finance reform he "supported".

Barack Obama is a liar, a cheater, and a disgrace to this country!!!

  • Posted By: ltruhan @ 10/29/2008 5:40:36 PM

I just listened to a disturbing news report stating the computerized voting machines keep changing the Obama votes to McCain. The entire story will be on PBS Nationally this evening. We can complain to democracynow.org or bradblog.com. The documentary suggested the Republicans will admittedly stand at polling stations, making sure every letter and number is correct on ballots. Through intimidation, they are distracting voters. If a middle initial is written on one form but not another, you will be disqualified. Brad Friedman and Harvey Wasserman are trying to get the Democrats to stand up for themselves. They believe Democratics let the Republicans off the hook, including losing the election in 2000 and 2004. They said to complain or file a formal complaint with election boards, state officials, senetors etc. The report on NPR radio station stated this debacle is happening in many states!!! We cannot let the unscrupulous and dishonorable candidates win! Please pass this on!
