You have a dumb position sir. You're theories do not fit the fact that kenya does not allow dual citizenship.

"hmmmmmmm obama admitted in court that his citizenship is in kenyan &indonesian hmmmmmmmmm "

No, he didn't. Stop the lies, please.

Do you suppose that Obama and his staff are afraid that Obama's grandmother in a drugged state would reveal that Obama was in fact born in Kenya and that they need to quiet her?

      • Posted By: score keeper @ 10/27/2008 11:53:59 AM

        like I said, izme,

this kind of commentary is just plain sick...

no one would want to serve this country that bad.

To LudwigVanBeet @, you apparently did not pay attention to the attendees at the RNC. MANY people of color!!! Republicans do NOT have any ill feelings towards people of color.

Obama will disappoint his followers as he places his Chicago Political Machine croonies in positions of power in the federal government. Nothing will change except he will now be even more indebted to these individuals who have invested millions into getting "their" man elected.

If Obama wins you can expect Putin to break out the vodka, and dancing in the streets of Gaza and Tehran. Those are the Tbama supporters. Then just wait for the inevitable attack. Americans so easily forget 9/11.

    • Posted By: baybluv @ 10/27/2008 1:01:13 PM

Maybe he'll be dancing because he can still see Palin from home.

  • Posted By: hardworkingAmerican @ 10/27/2008 12:59:27 PM

OBAMA HAS A STRONG FOLLOWING BECAUSE WE AMERICANS HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF THE LAST EIGHT YEARS . WE WILL HAVE A MORE UNIFIED AMERICA ! MCCAIN ALREADY SHOWED US THAT HE THINKS POLITICS IS A GAME LIKE RISK THATS WHY HE OR THE PARTY PICKED PALIN FOR V.P. ITS TIME FOR MCCAIN TO RETIRE TO ONE OF HIS MANY HOUSES ! OBAMA/BIDEN 08 & 12

  • Posted By: kitty4304 @ 10/27/2008 12:03:50 PM

I hope Obama opens his mansion in Chicago for the homeless people and makes it available to all of us who are going to loose everything we have when he becomes president!!!!

    • Posted By: Aerokas @ 10/27/2008 12:16:01 PM

If you truly believe that, then you're no better than the nuts on the left who try and connect Bush to 9/11

      • Posted By: baybluv @ 10/27/2008 12:59:13 PM

Maybe Mr. Bush will let you stay at his Texas ranch since the bailout (which is more socialism than anything) will go under his Presidency.

  • Posted By: chuckiechan @ 10/27/2008 11:53:36 AM

I plan on retiring soon and going back to cash work. If I can count on SS plus transfer payment from other taxpayers, I'll be riding high. I'm only voting for Obama because he will give me money. In the end, it all comes down to that.

    • Posted By: jazzmanjim @ 10/27/2008 12:40:14 PM

Um, chuckie those transfer payments are from people who have earned it. It's called socalism, It's been tried and it has failed.

      • Posted By: Doc Howl @ 10/27/2008 12:53:23 PM

        Has anyone told Canada?

      • Posted By: Aerokas @ 10/27/2008 12:47:48 PM

Nope. Wrong. Communism has been tried and failed. Huge difference. Socialism is alive and well in plenty of places. Not that I'd love to be Finland, but some intellectual honesty is required here.

    • Posted By: jazzmanjim @ 10/27/2008 12:51:10 PM

That's called socialism. It's been tried and doesn't work.

  • Posted By: Brammy @ 10/27/2008 12:47:22 PM

I hope that supporters, while agreeing he is the best choice for the White House at this venue, no man can work miracles. Whatever happens will take time and I trust Mr Obama's supporters wil lrecognize this fact.

O/T you Obama bashers really need totake your meds. First McCain was the voice of experience then when he realized that American's didnt want his typoe of experience he changed his message to 'Change'. Sounds like plaguerism to me.

As far as your crackpot socialism cries are concerned. McCain fought the approval of the same tax breaks that Obama is trying to roll back and won't affect the majority anyway. Funny how McCain never touches on the point that he was opposed to these tax breaks anyway, instead referring to them as tax hikes. Hmmm! Want someone who will be honest or someone that will tell you what you wanna hear depending on which day it is?

  • Posted By: radiantenergies @ 10/27/2008 12:46:34 PM

Nothing beats intelligence in the White House.

  • Posted By: americandefender @ 10/27/2008 10:22:02 AM

I see the right wingers are making their last desperate pleas and mud slinging attacks, sorry it won't work. We the people have had enough, the republicans have reduced our economy to shambles and now we have to clean up this mess. Change is coming and I can't wait Go Obama!!!!

    • Posted By: Pia1981 @ 10/27/2008 10:29:12 AM

Ditto! Good post. I like your name, Btw.

      • Posted By: olderwiser @ 10/27/2008 10:45:04 AM

The right wing. That's the one with all the feathers missing.
Hello Pia1981. Will miss you after the election is over.

        • Posted By: Pia1981 @ 10/27/2008 12:42:45 PM

Hello older! Good to read you again. You don't have to miss me after the election..I'll be here..you will too..we can psot about many things.

  • Posted By: keithb @ 10/27/2008 10:10:45 AM

How awful! An American electorate that actually WANTS to participate in governing more than once every four years! Quick, save us from these radicals who think that government should be of the people, by the people, and for the people! Where, oh where will it all end?!?

    • Posted By: Doc Howl @ 10/27/2008 12:41:26 PM

Yeah, we can't have people participating in their political process!

What do these people think this is? America?

  • Posted By: farkd @ 10/27/2008 12:33:53 PM

This is more of the cynical political thinking that we are trying to be rid of. I am as passionate a supporter as there is but I don't expect anything other than the intelligent, sound leadership that we so desperately need. We need to support the ideas and plans Obama has laid out and get this country to work on restoring our image, saving the environment and providing healthcare and jobs.

Wow, can't believe how ignorant some people. Simply don't understand things so they make up these crazy things about "sharing". Do some research before jumping to conclusions.

This whole article takes a quote from one insignificant person and ties together some facts about Facebook and Myspace. Then it makes some quick assumptions about things that could "possibly" happen. What kind of journalism is this?

It is clear that Obama will win the elections; and, having people on your side to the degree
that he has, can also assure him he is on the right track in an effort to make the changes
he wants to make for them. This is good, positive energy.

Working with them is an asset; they will strengthen his position in many ways. It is time
government allows the people to be involved to this degree. At least they will have a
powerful say in the direction that they plan to go. Transparency is what the people are
looking for, unlike what is going on now where everything is done behind closed doors.

It is high time for those doors to open. This is where the two-way street "trust" works.
Getting people involved motivates others to do their share and take responsibility to
better themselves and in return, everybody is stronger as a result.

Senator Obama is a fair man and will get this country back on track. No Republican has ever made anyone rich but themselves. Look what happened this last 8 years. If you are wealthy, you will be for McCain. He and his rich wife have no clue that real life is like.

  • Posted By: martin_gray @ 10/27/2008 12:09:49 PM

Jasper, what you are proposing is called Socialism. I think Obama's proposal is to tax the very wealthy heavier and using that revenue to reduce taxes for those couples earning less than $250,000. That seems fair to me and not Sociialistic. Warren Buffet polled his 31 or 32 office workers. They all provided information showing that they paid a higher percentage of income taxes then Mr. Buffet did. Even Buffet admits that we have an unfair system of taxation. Unfortunately, as proven by the necessity to bail out Wall Street and some of the nation's largest banks and corporations, most highly paid corporate officers have no such altruism. Life boat ethics prevails in America.

Regarding helping the homeless and those on welfare, we can't build Nazi-type camps to keep them in. There has to be some financial floor to allow them ample food, clothing and shelter but their rewards should not be much greater than that. There has to be a penalty for not working even if we have to use public works projects to make them earn what they receive.

The country cannot continue on it's present course where corporate CEO's earn 400 times the wage of their touch labor. In Japan, that figure is about 10 times as much so you can see how out of whack our economy is and why the divide is ever widening between the haves and the have nots.

I hope Obama is ready to open his mansion in Chicago when he becomes the president....there will tons more homeless people migrating to Chicago to live there when that happens. I will be in the long long line!!!! Thanks to his "socialist" new policies...
