She said "NO"...just like she said "NO" to that BRIDGE TO NO WHERE!!!!

    • Posted By: Rebel9668 @ 10/26/2008 12:23:52 AM

yes, she said no after she said yes to the bridge to nowhere. Can we say flip-flopper? I'll bet we can if we try.

Did you notice that Obama's teeth extensions are too long? He looks like Barney the Beaver.

Have you ever noticed McCain's Gerbal jaws or how much Palin sounds like "Mrs. Poole" from the old sitcom "The Hogan Family"?

The phrase "In God We Trust" was added to our currency in the 1950s. The Treaty of Triploli (ratified in the early 1800s) explicitly states the The U.S. is NOT a Christian nation. Most of the Founding Fathers were quite suspicious of Christianity (especially Thomas Jefferson and John Adams). The word God does not appear in the U.S. Constitution, and only appears in the Declaration of Independence after an acknowledgement of the Laws of Nature.

Lowen, before you post such stupid comments, open a history book.

Enter Your Commentand i suppose it was because of our "christian faith" that we sufferred the great depression, bouts with influenza such as the 1918 pandemic, malarial outbreaks in the mid 19nth century, etc. etc. Times when I'm quite sure the religous zealots were saying, we'll, we turned our backs on god. That's always their answer to everything. Ya know something? God didn't invent malarial vaccine, science did. I believe in God but when you and I both get gravely ill, you sit in your pew and pray and I'll say a prayer on my way to the hospital. This country is now in modern times, The freeist, most wonderfull country to live in despite your gloom and doom predictions at every calamity through history and were it not for people like you always getting in the way, it could be freer still.

If they'll sold her panties off on eBay, they'd make it back. McCain would gladly pay $150,000 for them since he didn't get what he'd expected to get from her when he "fingered" her for VP.

    • Posted By: Nins @ 10/25/2008 11:13:25 PM

As much as I lack respect for Sarah Palin's fitness for the office of VP, these nasty comments you made are really uncalled for, Donal.

      Put a sock in it.

i'm amazed at the filthy, crude, unneccessary and unwarranted comments some of you have made about a very decent woman who is part of a very decent family. you don't have to hate someone (mccain/palin), just because you are hypnotized in love w/ someone else (obama/biden). you can support your "candidate" without slandering the opposition...........just shows the true ugliness in your personality...........

" the 2002 McCain-Feingold law, co-authored by the GOP candidate, tightened the rules to ban using campaign funds for personal clothing."

McCain broke his own rules , he was a fool to pick Palin , and this election will be a blowout. Its over.

      You are mistaken, my friend.

No, my ignorant Repugnican, you are in denial.McCain and his stupid pal, Palin, are on their way to the dressing room. Game over. Bye. Don't call us. We'll send a card of thanks someday.

So sad that McCain and Palin have nothing else to offer the country but the pathetic story of Joe the Plumber. And as far as Michelle Obama goes, second only to her husband, she has been the most inspirational speaker of this election. Her ability to overcome everything that is against her as an African American woman is nothing short of a miracle. She will be the next first lady, and I think she will represent American women in a beautiful fashion. She is intelligent and articulate. She is already 2 steps ahead of Cindy McCain, who I might add looks like Satans daughter while she stands behind her man.

THAT WOMAN DOESN'T HAVE A CLUE, IF THAT HAD BEEN ME AND I WAS FRUGAL AS SHE SAID THEN I WOULD HAVE BEEN MORTIFIED TO SPEND THAT KIND OF MONEY ON CLOTHES.THE AMERICAN PPL WOULD HAVE STOOD BY HER IF ANYTHING WAS SAID ABOUT HER NOT DRESSING WELL ENOUGH AND IF SHE HAD SAID ' I AM A VERY FRUGAL PERSON AND I DRESS AS WELL AS THAT PERMITS' BELIEVE ME NO ONE WOULD HAVE SPOKE AGAINST HER IT WOULD HAVE BEEN THE OPPISITE SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN SUPPORTED.

What I find interesting is the implicit sexism underlying the conclusion of the McCain campaign that Ms. Paiin didn't have an adequate wardrobe for two months. If McCain had chosen a man as his running mate, I doubt the issue of clothing would have come up, much less resulted in a $10,000 shopping spree, much less $150,000 blow-out. Apparently, Republican Joe 6-packs want their woman to look like a Paris model, with makeup to match. In essence, this decision reflects an underlying assumption that women must still succeed on their looks first, and only then might the public consider their intellect and their character. Shame on Ms. Palin for allowing herself to be used in this manner - and shame on the McCain campaign for putting her in this position.

I doubt that Palin will have a career at all after the Republican ticket goes down in a flaming ball of shame! McCains life long career as a Public Servant will end in disgrace, however he is of retirement age anyways. Him and his wife Barbie can move along and live in one of their 11 homes and live off of Barbies family weath for the rest of their lives. Todd Palin will have to get out and get a real job and support his family all by himself as Sarah will be at home raising her baby which is where she should be anyways. Maybe her and her daughter can trade parenting stories and tips.

McCain is losing based on two factors. One is age, McCain is too old to command the future because he is tied to close to the past. Secondly, he is not grounded in principals. McCain wants to be a maverick and America needs a leader. Palin will do well after the election on Fox news. McCain will go out as a loser.

Can you blame her for trying to get something out of a losing campaign?

Just name the price and Obama will take the money and do whatever you want. He is for sale to anyone who has an agenda. Call him, he will give you a deal, pal.

  • Posted By: abe4600 @ 10/25/2008 8:45:38 PM

Wow...150k spent on a close in one month???? That is more than what my house worth!!!!

  • Posted By: GregHere @ 10/25/2008 8:39:11 PM

.........................................Palin has been taking full advantage of her time in Politics since she was first on the Wasilla City Council to get all of the perks she could for herself and her family. The $150,000 wardrobe is just the newest benefit Palin has worked to her advantage.

Nice try "far left liberals". It ain't sticking. Come on, the Obama's are millionaires and have raised $600 million, now that is where the fingers ought to be pointing. How in the World can anyone spend that much money in such a short time? They have to be living high and fancy.
