    To Jordan C.
I don't see why any republican would want to mention Mr. McCain's history at the naval acadamy. He was in the bottom of his class and deemed a "screw off". Mr. Obama was at the top of his class at Harvard. That is a road they probably don't want to go down.

I respect Mr. McCain and the service he has provided to his country. His ideas are oudated and his presidency will be four more years of Bush economics. Our country deserves better.

Okay, am I the only one who is slightly concerned that the GOP spent 150,000 on clothes for the Palins? That is over 2 years of salary for my family. It is totally ridiculous. I keep hearing how Sarah Palin and John McCain are just your average normal Joe. Well guess what, your average normal Joe doesn't have $150,000 to spend on clothes. It doesn't matter that they will be donated to charity when this is all over. They say they understand the middle class american but if you did, you wouldn't be out there buying at the most expensive section of Neiman Marcus. You want to be the average Joe, then shop at Walmart, Target, KMart, and on the sale and clearance racks like most of the country.

When are true journalists going to investigate the truth about Obama's ties to Arabs; has anyone looked into where the huge amounts of donations are coming from? What about Dr Surhan the Islamic radical who used influence to get him admitted to Harvard. How about the huge interest in Obama from Europe and the British college students who came to Ohio to fraudulently register young voters?? Why is England, which now is 33% Islamic so interested in the US elections?? Just follow the money trail. Think about it.

Gov Palin did not purchase the items herself. she is being unfairly treated

Anyone whom is going to vote and the ones who is not going to vote, needs to search the things and people that the running presidents have been associated through the years before making your minds up. Their is a lot of scoop on the "Internet" about all of the flyers that u have received in the mail and heard over tv about. Do your homework now and before the 4th of November. The info will be worth your while!!!!! Thank you for letting us speak up.

KC07, I also don't see you addressing the fact that McCain has also got serious ties with Khalidi. Of course, I'm sure you also conveniently ignore the ties McCain has to ACORN as well. Talk about hypocrisy.

I think it is quite amusing that McCain pulled a relative unknown to join his ticket and brought her from relative obscurity into the national media limelight and the Republican core hsa embraced her?????? She is divisive, base and very lacking in national and international issues. How can anyone think that Palin is qualified ???? Come - on people !!!! Be real !!!!! Wake -up for goodness sake!!!! The real nightmare is Palin taking over the Whitehouse if ... God Forbid... McCain wins and he is unable to perform his duties as President!!!

  • Posted By: KC07 @ 10/29/2008 4:32:41 PM

How about the $4 Million the dems are spending on election night party? How about the $462K spent on food for their campaign? They proved there wasn't $150K spent on Palin's clothing, but you people don't seem to be concerned about important things - Rezko, Ayers, Wright, Pflager, Odinga, Khalida, Farrakhan! Wake up people before you put a radical threat into the white house!

Make-Believe Maverick: A closer look at the life and career of John McCain reveals a disturbing record of recklessness and dishonesty

Interesting read. I was not a MCCain supporter prior to reading this but now - who in their right minds can say he is a hero?????

$150,000 looks like a drop from the bucket in Mr. Obama's political $ 280 million presidential bid... and I thought Mr Obama championing the poor cause... and now he will break all time records in big money in politics... and no one is crying about it. I'm glad Mr. Obama showns his true color, big spender of money not of his own and who knows when he win the presedency... the unlimited resources of money from the rich, but they are so smart to hide their money offshores, tax breaks and loopholes, Mr Obamais lucky if he's able to get a dime from them, soon all of these so called middle class, working mom and dad, and even those 9-5 job soon will be in jeopardy to be taxed more because rich people knows places where to hide their money but the middle class and regular employees has no means to hide their hard earned money except to the banks near them. I believe Mr. Obama is promoting a change for bad or even for worse to the economy, to the hard working American, and even to those people who have supported him to this far, not a change for better future. pgadia

I donated $50.00 to the Obama campaign during he primaries - and my take on the $150, 000 clothing allowance and the $2500 plus allowance for hair & makeup vs the money spent for the tv ads - I am appalled at the money spent on Palin and would be equally apalled if the financing money had been spent on clothes, beautifying a Democrat. Money spent on tv ads - that's what I donated my money for - getting the message out.........I don't think that one can compare the two.

Obama is not as qualified as John McCain. And when I say Obama wants to disarm America, I'm not talking about guns, I'm talking about our war weapons. Watch his video on Utube. The only way the terriorists can get to the US is thru the military, and that's why Obama has been getting so much money thru other sources that they can't account for. The FBI is investigating all this. Other things I don't like re: Obama's point of view is he wants to double the taxes and capital gains taxes, take $80 billion dollars of American's tax money and give it to overseas and not to us, he goes to a church that preaches hate to Americans and whites, and keeps relationships with people who want to destroy the US, and he wants to give the illegal aliens free everything, when we as citizens have to pay for everything. He's giving the illegal aliens a gold brick to break the law, but if we broke the law, we'd be in jail. Also it's not fair to legal aliens. People better wake up to what he is up to. If he disarms America, anybody can attack us. And they will. Besides I work too hard for my money for someone to take it away. I understand giving, but to me this is excessive giving. There are 10,000 foreclosures a day and we don't need more taken from us.

Mad Dog Palin: The scariest thing about John McCain's running mate isn't how unqualified she is - it's what her candidacy says about America

Please God just don't let them get away with stealing another one.

Our world would not survive if they change the votes in the machines.

Sorry, people, but her whole argument is: "I'm one of you!!" My family and I do not shop at Neiman Marcus or Saks Fifth Avenue. We shop at places like Walmart, Target and Kohl's. So, no, she is not one of us. And at least Obama and his family pay for their clothing out of their own pockets, which they have stated in public several times since the whole Palin debacle. And, greyfold, Obama has already provided a legal US Birth Certificate, which has been verified by several third party observers. Try to keep up.

I believe that the republican party should take care of its candidates, this includes what they are wearing. It is obvious that Mrs. Palin does not come from an wealthy family she is a working girl and has always demonstrated this. If the democrates believe that the clothes Ms. Palin is wearing is excessive perhaps they should look at their own candidate. I don't see Michelle Obama telling us how much she is spending on her clothes. I think they should back off!

    Questioning the American Bolshevik views
    1. Is wealth redistribution taking money from stockholders and redistributing it to those who don???t pay taxes?
    2. Is it more important to make sure that illegal votes are not disenfranchised or making sure that groups like ACORN do not nullify honest votes.
    3. Would premature U.S. withdrawal from Iraq grand jihadists a victory and make all of our accomplishments, money spent and lives lost a big waist?
    4. Can this country afford to grant socialist Democrats total control of the government and allow them to sacrifice our safety by cutting the military budget by 25%?
Now comes the big question. How do we stop socialism from ruining our lives?
The answer is simple. Don???t vote American Bolsheviks into power and boycott the socialist propaganda media into bankruptcy.

Necessary expenses. Job interview you want to look your best. Lets say your daughter is getting married. Wedding dress is needed - tell your daughter to buy a dress at the Salvation Army thrift store and maybe a new suit for yourself. Is this what you want?
Palin's clothing allowance is necessary part of the job. So quit crying about it. Stop all the
trampling on everyone, I'm personally sick of it all.
trampling over and over I'm sick of it all. I'm protesting by NOT voting..

I think the issue with Palin's wardrobe (which included items for her family) is that she is a governor and you can't tell me she didn't have some decent clothes from her campaign and for her election. Alaska isn't that backward. And, if she needed some additional clothes, which I can understand, why did they have to cost so much? I, for one, wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a $150.00 suit jacket and one that costs $2,000. Michelle Obama openly tells us she buys her clothes off the rack and the price or oders them on line and where from. She looks fantastic! But, we forget that the Republicans are all about money and the rich and making the rich richer, so why would we expect them to shop at a regular dept. store?

Nice idea, but would be more effective to quit watching ABC, NBC and CBS and quite subscribing to biased newpaper
