So, German intelligence had a spy who was supposedly telling them all about Iranian nuclear abilities. The Germans gave him [supposedly innocuous] nuclear material and information; however, it turns out that their spy got his hands on some BAD nuclear material that the spy agency didn't give him, and that they didn't know anything about. SInce the material was illegal, they couldn't stop his arrest, or protect their SPY!
Now, does any of this sound fishy to all you people out there? Can one read between the lines and say that their SPY was selling German nuclear information and material with the tacit approval of the German government, and that the German spy agency was protecting their conduit to the Iranians? Talk about something being fishy in...Denmark? Methinks Germany will be the ally of Russia in the soon to be battle of Gog and Magog. Big surprise!

I follow an economist named Bob Proctor. He has called the top and bottom of every market crash since the 70s correctly.
He perfectly predicted the current meltdown and the picture he paints about what will happen next
is terrifying. He thinks it will be worse then the great depression.
The banks in the U.S. are going under one after the other. Countrywide ,Bear Stearns, Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch , Fanny and Freddy Mae ,AIG
The government took them over because they are bankrupt. Even with the goverment nationalizing hundreds of billions of dollars in debt the stock market is crashing
the credit markets are frozen and all of us may suffer beyond anything seen in generations
McCain just like Bush " doesn't understand the economy".
That not just my opinion its his own words. Not only does he not understand how to fix it but he does not understand how its been broken.
It is no surprise that he doesn't. The people that make up these securities use quantum mathematical models very few people understand.
Bush and McCain both can take the credit for this mess since they helped deregulate the laws that were protecting us.
Bush's economic advisor Phil Graham wrote the deregulation bill that allowed banks to take huge risks with all of our future.
Now, Phil Graham is the head of McCain's economic policy. He is also McCain's choice for the next secretary of the treasury.
No one in this country can afford for that to happen. The last time Bush met with his economic advisors was in March. He was the last to know somthing was wrong. Phil Graham had the guts to say that we are in a mental recession after he helped create the worst economy meltdown in our lifetime. It will take the best and brightest minds in the world to get us out of this nightmare. As bad as Bush has done, McCain would be
even more destructive because things are in much worse shape. The next president will not inherit a budget surplus like Bush did but a crashing economy and a 11,600,000,000,000 (trillion) dollars deficit. Most of it Bush created and it will take decades to pay it back.
If you do what you have always done then you will get what you have always got.
When it comes to policy Bush and McCain are the same 90 percent of the time.
So why are the polls even close then ?
Mccains team just said they no longer want to talk about the economy.Instead they would like to spend time talking about obama
which means running the biggest smear campaign in history.
They think they can just tell you lies and you wont be smart enough to see through it

mfenwick again wrote: 'The three main causes of war are Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. No Satanist or Wiccan has ever caused a war. Think about that. Every war that has ever occurred in the West has been started by a Jew, a Christian, or a Muslim. Wipe out all these religions and you pretty much do away with all wars.' and 'Israel is a theocracy, therefore it must be destroyed.'

Wipe out these religious groups and you pretty much wipe out Western civilization. Wipe out Satanists and Wiccans and you will hardly notice. Wars take large numbers of participants. Wars are about land and power for the most part. Religion is used as an excuse when an excuse is needed. Most of the Middle East governments are theocracies, therefore mfenwick believes almost all of these countries must be destroyed. By the way, what do you call a war against theocracies? It's not a jihad, should we call it an anti-jihad? Since the US has the First Amendment specifically barring religion in government maybe the US should overrun the whole Middle East and make them all US states.

I believe I have heard where there are a significant number of Palestinian Muslims living in peace in Israel. I haven't heard of Jewish settlements living peacefully in Palestine. I have also heard where one of the pillars of Islam is charity. Yet all of the oil wealth in the Middle East seems to be happy to not be charitable towards the Palestinian Muslims. Helping the people of Palestine out of poverty would probably be pocket change to countries that can build a shopping center with an indoor ski slope. But I guess the people of Islam are willing to forsake a pillar of their religion to let their own people suffer if it means Islam can blame the suffering on Israeli Jews, or if it means they would have to give up year-round indoor skiing. I have heard where much of the wealth of Israel comes from the Jewish communities outside of Israel. It sure looks like the Jewish community are better at the charity pillar of Islam than the Islamic people. If the people of Islam supported the Islamic Palestinians to the extent that the people of Judaism supported the people of Israel then there would probably be no Middle East conflict. But that takes all of the fun out of it.

The Jews, Christians, and Muslims have been a pain since their beginning. Everywhere they go there is trouble. They cannot live peaceably with their neighbors nor can they tolerate each other. Governments all through history have fused the religion of patriotism with the popular religions of the time in order to persuade their citizens do do stupid things like pay high taxes, support wars, and tolerate corrupt politicians. When the U.S. invaded Iraq a religious tone was prevalent. Nearly every evangelical supports war, especially if a conservative Republican is president. The same holds true in Iraq. All the dumb Iraqis supported war with the infidels because Hussein combined patriotism with Islam. Soldiers on both sides were stupid enough to believe they were fighting for God, Country, Mom, and Apple Pie and many lost their lives or their limbs. The Christian God never handed out medals in heaven to slain Americans and the dead Iraqi soldiers never got their 72 virgins. The moral of the story: stop believing in all these religions and learn to think for yourself. You'll live longer.

I am American military, and I do not put my life on the line for God. I do nto even believe in a higher power, so do not assume we would not serve if there were no religious aspect involved. I serve my country, for the sake of my country, and my children. I have lived in several different countries, and as much as we Americans complain, we still live in one of the best nations in the world. I want my daughter to grow up in a secure America, just as Israelis want their children to grow up in a safe Israel. Iran achieving nuclear weapons capability threatens both countries, as they are fond of instigating religious confrontations. They condem Israel, and America for supporting them. China keeps North Korea in check for the most part, but who will keep Iran incheck? No one, and unpredictable nations should not be trusted with such a volatile weapon as nuclear bombs and missiles.

        • Posted By: mfenwick @ 10/29/2008 12:23:56 AM

Who will keep America in check? Who will prevent America from meddling in other countries' affairs and from selling arms to warring countries? You claim you are not in the military to serve God; just who are you serving? What do you expect to gain if you die? Freedom is not worth anything to a dead man. You won't be around to see your children enjoy it if you die fighting.

Ah for the days when the CIA kept a firm hand on the lunatics and fools of the world! The Cold War never ended, it simply changed characters. Ay one point in time, this woudn't have been allowed to become a problem: the Iranians suggestion it would disappear, the scientists thinking of getting involved would've had a change of heart and no country in the world would offer to supply the materials. Covert ops and espionage are the key to security and freedom at home.

  • Posted By: daniel.9.24 @ 10/28/2008 5:00:05 PM

It's no use getting to much involved in the political and international discussions. The out comes are inevitable. We live in the Age of Fools and have been since 1960. It started with the Kennedys, then Carter and has escalated with Gore, Kerry, Clinton, Bush, Obama and McCain and you the voter. For some unknown reason we accept individuals for all levels of political office who are less than cut out for the job and we keep electing them over and over. In most cases we would be better off electing politicians with no credentials at all. Someone some where defines the credentials needed to be a politician and they give us a several jesters to choose from and we settle for it. Who's government is this anyway.

Examples of these jesters are also found as leaders in the Middle-East. The new government of Iraq, there's Iran, Syria and leaders of the West Bank and Gaza, These are just a few. But the big ones are Prime Minister Ehud Olmert of Israel and sorry to say Secretary of State Rice. If this was May 15, 1948 both of them would have been stoned by now. Israel is suppose to be taking back her lands or at the very least keeping all that she has attained since 1948, not giving them away. The United States is suppose to be supporting Israel in that endeaver. By forcing Israel to give away her lands and supporting the likes of Olmert, Rice and Arab demands we are playing Russian roullette and Putin is the one loading the revolver. The countries who oppose Israel and the United States are a threat and will become stronger as we exhibit weakness.

  • Posted By: BillsCatz @ 10/28/2008 4:58:08 PM

Ah for the old days when the CIA would've taken care of all this quietly and behind the scenes while we slept through the night. Thirty years ago Iran wouldn't have been allowed to develop things this far -- the people who suggested it would've disappered, any scientist offering to help would vanished and no country in the world would've offered to sell supplies. The Cold War isn't over -- it simply switched players.

  • Posted By: sjbrock80 @ 10/27/2008 6:14:19 PM

War is not the answer with Iran, in my opinion, and that is exactly what an Israeli strike would start. The best way to deal with Iran is not to deal with Iran. They should be given an ultimatum that if they refuse to destroy their nuclear progression, we will not do any kind of business with them or even acknowledge them as a nation. That's the only way to deal with a child-like leader of a nation.

  • Posted By: Daru786 @ 10/28/2008 12:58:41 PM

My comment to the military moms usa, just like you want your daughter to grow in a safe and peacefull USA, the people of Palestine, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and Iran want to live in peace too. Please open your mind and fight for them too. You sound so brainwashed and biased. There is no Iran nuclear threat, do your reading, Iran in no where close to developing a nuclear weapon. Every country has a right to defend herselp including USA. Why did USA signed a nuclear treaty with India last week and providing India with all the nuclear technology now how??????????? Why is it okay for USA to help India to develop more sophisticated weapons???? Its all about polictics and OIL so wake up and do some reading. People like you open your mouths without know the whole facts.
Read, Read, Read and then read some more...........

Obama has 63 Nobel Laureates working on his policy team. They are developing a plan to push America back to the top. Who is responsible for McCain's planning? Americans would be shocked to find that Douglas Holtz-Eakin is the sole person responsible for planning McCain's policy for America's future. Holtz-Eakin is also McCain's economic advisor, filling two full time positions on McCain's team. How can one single man (an economist) be responsible for developing a viable technology plan for our future? Obama has an enormous pool of the most intelligent, talented men and women in America working for him. Soon, they will be working for US.

And let's not forget that the McCain campaign spent more on Palin's makeup artist than it did on it's foreign policy advisor. When you pay your makeup artist DOUBLE what you pay your foreign policy advisor, it is time to start examining your priorities.

You look just fine without makeup, John. And Sarah is young enough not to need any. So cut the crap, and start paying some good ECONOMIC ADVISORS so you can have a fiscal plan to present to America. We're in the middle of a huge global financial meltdown, and you are worried about hair and makeup? PLEASE start worrying about the middle class, John. Please.

Does anyone really believe that Israel would be first in line to defend the USA were she ever directly attacked by another country? I don't mind being allies with anybody, but they have to be willing to do the same for us as we would for them.

Again, they offered in the Gulf War but it would have enraged our "allies" so they were asked to keep a low profile including not responding to Saddam Hussein's rockets. Again, know what you are talking about before you blame the Jews.

Holly, nothing wrong with charity, but justice comes first. Arab Israelis that are victims of apartheid deserve justice from the Israeli Jews, not someone telling the Israeli government, "do what you like, someone somewhere else will clean it up."

    • Posted By: busby @ 10/27/2008 9:16:48 PM

You don't know what you're talking about. Israeli Arabs and Palestinians are two different entities. Israeli Arabs live and work in Israel and hold government positions, they are in the knesset and interact daily. They are too busy trying to make a living for their families to strap on bombs as the Palestinians do. I find it amazing that any American has the nerve to call Israel apartheid with our history of slavery and genocide Ever heard of Indians (as a rule, they don't like the pc term native americans). Know what you are talking about before you do.

We are just going to have to get used to the fact that Iran will have nuclear weapons, like N. Korea, India, Pakistan, and the American Enterprise Institute.

After reading your comments, it is apparent that your understanding of the events in the Middle East are very limited. That limited knowledge and understanding most likely applies to all you learn of importance. You probably believe in the Easter bunny and Santa Claus. The conflicts in the Middle East that engulf Israel are the result of an ancient jealousy. The antagonists of that jealousy attached it to Islam to increase their power base, to no avail. In the end Israel will be the winner, not the antagonists. At least you make an effort, but your understanding should come from knowledge of those who are wiser. Even the Press lacks understanding, so you are not alone.

For approximately 40 years, it has been all but confirmed that Israel possesses nuclear weaponry; yet no other middle eastern nation has actively moved forward toward creation of a similar program. It is all but guaranteed that the completion of a nuclear program by an unstable country like Iran will promote the need of its neighbors to do the same, something that was not deemed necessary in the past. It is the irrational behavior of Iranian's leadership that will lead to nuclear proliferation.

Good news for all of us who appreciate that one's religious myhology does not give one the right to murder children and steal their homes. The Zionist criminals have always (since David Ben Gurion) clearly stated their intention to "wipe out', "remove" or "eliminate" all of their arab neighbors. Only a detante achieved by Arab nuclear capability will insure the security
of the region. Sovereignty and security for the Arab nations is the only way to end the plague upon the world that was created with the "creation" of Israel. The Zionists (armed and enabled by the U.S.) are holding 2.5 million people in a concentration camp called Palestine and we wonder
why they hate us. God never gave anyone the right to murder and steal.
All of the Arab nations should be given nuclear capability with delivery systems (missiles) limited to their distance from Israel. Then we need to end foreign aid to Israel (currently at least $10,000+ per year for every citizen there). An end to Israel's reign of terror in the mideast will all but end the need for our own "war on terror".

  • Posted By: Cool_man3 @ 10/26/2008 5:37:23 PM

It seems to me that you are asking the fox to guard the chicken coop. The very people who are worried about nuclear proliferation today are the ones who have actually used nuclear weapons to bomb a civilian population in Japan on the pretext of ending a prolonged war.I guess they are simply scared that someone could use the same weapons on them.

I am sick of all this talk of taking out iranian nuclear facilities. Israel should strike the iranian facilities now!!!!!Use nukes if necessary. Iran must not be allowed to go nuclear. The danger to Israel is too great!!!
