Huh? I know my parents were the same with all five of us in public as in private.... The important thing is, Kathleen, you set the example for a good relationship between your children and the rest of the world. Your responsibility is to make sure your children are prepared to live productively and responsibly in the world when they grow up - if you are two faced (one in public & another in private) what are you teaching them? Don't you want them to be trustworthy? Are YOU being fair to your children by demonstrating two different standards of behaviour for yourself - and them? Do you realize you are teaching your children to be Brats in public because you won't discipline them in public? Piper Palin is getting training in being helpful, in mothering and in being a responsible member of a family. Couldn't be better!!
