Typical republican mentality, "...our candidate sucks, so lets try and make theirs seem worse."
Sounds like some Jedi mind trick. Not very effective on thinking humans, although It might work on Palin, shes hoping to be the new boss of the senate some day.

I see obama has another news magazine to distort the facts. Come on, let's hear about the obama lies about McCain. We could hear about his tax plan but speeches from the obama pulpit and worshiping the obama hot air, vote for me I'm wonderful isn't being a president it's trying to a god.

Look up ???Hypocrisy??? in any thesaurus and you will find ???RNC???

If McCain was not good enough for them in 2000, why is he good enough now?

It's rather funny how the Republican campaign is so projectionist. It's pretty sad. But I mean if they look hard at it, they're the ones lacking more in ethics, lying constantly in ads. They're running a sleezy campaign and yet they accuse the other side of the same thing. McCain and Palin talk about other peoples 'character' which is funny because their ACTIONS speak of people of lousy character. When it comes to politicians, the words that coome out of their mouths are irrelevant. Their actions are public recor, why woul ANYONE listen to them.

I thought the Obama/Biden campaign was going to give tax cuts to people under 250k/year. Biden just announced 150/k year. This is a big inconsistency. If Obama thinks families making 150k/year are wealthy, I have a real issue with this. He hasn't even been elected yet and his tax plan is already morphing into something Republicans have been sounding off on. Don't make me believe the Repubs.

I am an Obama supportor, however even I feel this article is a little biased....

    • Posted By: muffinb @ 10/28/2008 11:18:12 AM

If you noted the story was taken from Factcheck.com, so I don't think it was biased. It was just stating the obvious.

Another fact-check McCain lie that none of the Reps will read or understand. 36-of-39 have been just straight up lies. Not even deceptive - lies.

McCain is calling for Stevens to step down? But, if it's true that he ran someone over and killed them in Virginia in 1964:

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/10/28/news-orgs-investigate-pos_n_138449.html

Then shouldn't he step down? It seems he is a menace land, sea or air. Is that what Mavericks do? Anyhow even if he didn't take a life with a car - and the news services are pretty sure he did because the Navy is covering it up with great diligence - he is still looking a little "run-down".

There has not been a single honest campaign ad out of the mkpalin camp this election cycle. Everything they say has been either a gross distortion, or more often a flat out lie. No purprise that they continue to lie now.

Conservative Chick... you need to go back to your Klan rally and keep your message of racial hatred off the message boards. Sad, sad, sad.

  • Posted By: Palin who? @ 10/28/2008 11:01:31 AM

For Brydges and the other "not yet convinced", you should go and watch a great new documentary called "BoogeyMan: The Lee Atwater Story". It discusses how Lee Atwater STOLE the election for the republicans since about Regan was in office. Now, Carl Rove (Atwaters Apprentice) has his job. This slander and lies about O'bama is nothing new, it has been happening for 50 years. It's sad that Brydges and other right wing "enthusiasts" can only cling to biggoted racist bull$hit. Sorry, but the "good ol' boys" era is dead.

Sen. McCain has no shred of character or judgment left. I almost feel sorry for the man. He is trying to scare people into voting for him. We have already had a man in the White House who has been pulling the wool over our eyes for eight long years. We don't need anyother person like that in the White House. Most people know the facts about Obama's plans versus McCain's plans for America, and that is why Obama is doing so well. McCain insults my intelligence every time he speaks.

  • Posted By: Anti-Brydges @ 10/28/2008 10:55:55 AM

Brydges is simply an embarrassment to his family. Those are the most ridiculous allegations I've ever heard. Maybe I should note that Senator McCain was brainwashed as a POW and has since been working secretly to further his position in America simply to advance the causes of the Communist Vietnamese government. As soon as he is elected, the trigger will swiitch, and just like Manchurian Candidate, we'll have a Communist dictator. Just as plausible. What a bunch of sheep.

  • Posted By: LTD1 @ 10/28/2008 10:52:58 AM

What's new? Desperate times call for desperate measures and, in politics, desperation seems to kill any vestige of integrity candidates and their campaign organizations might otherwise have.
I wonder, whether John McCain wins or loses next Tuesday, will people remember how he behaved when the chips were down.

    Thanks for listening,

The spinsters of McCain Palin keep on spinning.

Marxist is as Marxist does, The U.S.A. has been slouching toward socialism for decades now, Obama is it???s crown prince..

From each according to his ability, to each according to his need has been the central theme of nearly every presidential, congressional and senate campaign since FDR.

The only difference in Obama is that he is a global socialist, the others were national socialists; witness his campaign speeches in Europe and the middle east and endorsements from Marxist leaders throughout the global community.

Yes, Obama believes that only the Federal Central Committee of the United States can ensure economic justice, make restution and reparation for perceived past inequities.
That it can only be done in accordance and adherence to the over site of the United Nations Central Committee of the Global Community.

That National sovernty is a crime, and Nationalism is an evil greater than racism is his core principal.

The only reasonable conclusion of all this is that yes Obama is not just a Marxist but a global socialist bent on eradicating the supremacy of the U.S.A. by substituting organized community entitlements for the individual rights that made the United States of America the greatest nation in the history of earth.

I find all of these posters who continue to make unfounded accusations about Obama to be hilarious, but at the same time pathetic. The one by 'brydges' is truly sad due to the fact that it is nothing more than a bigoted diatribe.

  • Posted By: betsyjc3 @ 10/28/2008 10:48:30 AM

Millie - could you please site these ads you speak of ... you have made an accusation without supporting information. Very McCainlike indeed.

  • Posted By: carolync @ 10/28/2008 10:48:25 AM

I actually thought highly of McCain years ago...this election has changed him. He lies and spins and instead of fact-checking, people believe him. Despicable.

  • Posted By: betsyjc3 @ 10/28/2008 10:47:32 AM

Millie .. could you site them please? That's an accusation without supporting information.

  • Posted By: mlbuie @ 10/28/2008 10:46:11 AM

More lies from the right .... and the McCain/Palin sideshow. They can't be trusted in or out of office.

    Boot them out.
