What happened to your sense of integrety? As a retired military member, I am ashamed for you. Maybe you need to refresh your memory on the leadership traits and principles learned and embraced by all of us who were lucky enough to serve this great country of ours.

It's commonly called 'politics'. If you're going to make a news story when someone presents a 'misleading' ad, then you should do likewise, and with equal "alarm", when either party does it. Otherwise, it's unbalanced, unfair, and hypocryitical.

The McCain campaign continues to rewrite the definition of "irony". Sarah Palin is found guilty of abuse of power, is having her arrangement for bidding on a pipeline in her state investigated for stifling competition, and went on a shopping spree for clothes in which she spent more in a month than the average American makes in 3 years, and yet she and McCain are labeling Obama as unethical.

Amazing, McCain and Palin commit the offenses and then blame Obama. Palin: found guilty of unethical conduct and abuse of her office in troopergate, fraud and favoritism in awarding $40 billion dollar pipeline contract to lobbyist company. McCain: Says he's not Bush but voted for his policies 90% of the time: Liar! Wake Up People! You voted for Bush the two times and he's brought this country and the world to the brink of disaster. A vote for Mccain/Palin will finish the job. Vote for the truth, Vote for Obama!!

Just imagine what the country would be like if the Bush republican had not stolen the election in 2000! (awfully coincidental that a Bush was governor of Florida at the time!). We would have had a rational response to 9/11, since Gore would not have needed to "show up" his Daddy and "finish business" in Iraq! We would also have had some regulations to prevent the credit meltdown, and we would be well on our way to energy independence with renewable energy and be working on global warming! Of course, Halliburton, Cheney, Rummy, Bush, and company would not be quite as rich.... Funny how things work out.

If John McCain believes these claims, if he's really that angry and concerned about Obama's "associations", then why hasn't he pushed for an investigation into Obama as a Senator? Barack Obama is a United States Senator, a peer to McCain. All of these false claims, exaggerations, and personal stabs are against a current elected official, not just a Presidential Nominee. If he's so concerned about corruption and fixing Washington, why hasn't he done this? We know why. Because he knows they are lies aimed at getting himself elected, no matter what the cost.

At what point is the line crossed to libel and slander when a Presidential Nominee is lying to the public about another Presidential Nominee with hateful, personally and professionally harmful rhetoric? Are we still in the real world, or does the Election process live in some sort of vaccuum? Maybe instead of bitching over public vs private financing they should take a hard look at themselves and consider what they're doing is more harmful to the election process and Democracy as a whole.

The fear tactic has consumed the past 8 years. The "you're either with us or against us" attitude is not just used for our international enemies, it's the philosophy of the Republican party as a whole. George Bush and his administration has divided this nation, we need somebody that will bring it together. Why would we think John McCain is the guy to do that when fear and division has been the entire strategy of his campaign ?

Hotsummer, I absolutely agree with you but Bush approved the legislation to make the banks be able to lend to people who couldn't come close to affording it. And of course the banks (greedy bastards that they are) will push any type of loan out the door because they know their good ol' buddy is sitting in the whitehouse to help them in troubled times.

Another wonderful thing Bush is doing, he has asked the state of Ohio to withdraw 200,000 new voter registrations or change of addresses for no good reason. That crooked bastard is stopping democracy and taking away the right for American Citizens to vote. Now, I know one of you right wing nuts are going to fire back about the ridiculous claim of O'bama's ties to ACORN...so just save it, I've already heard that lie.

Twice I did not vote for President Bush, but he is our president, whether we like it or not. Let history be the judge if he did the right thing of invading Iraq. Regarding the subprime mortgagge fiasco, why blame the president for the mess. It is the carelessness and irresponsible attitude of the home buyers that led them to the situation they are in. Not to mention the greediness of the lending company.

Some of you need to learn about Economics. And That the President cannot just cut a check. He needs the approval of Congress. They in turn vote and add pork for their personal and pet projects. Here we are fighting against Political figures. We have to live with each other. The ones that are the Government Officials, live among themselves. You think they care? Look at all the money they stole from US. Who voted yes on this bail out? Both of them did. No matter what color we all are. We are the ones that have been making this Country run. Besides the greed of our Wonderful Government. Just search and check out facts about each candidate. There are a lot of un biased articles on their views and what they want to do for our Country. Then make the decision. Instead of throwing points that a few of you are not accurate on. When one is mad and throwing their hatred at each other. It does not good in the end. McCain and Palin are the only two in this race convicted with ethics violations.
