John McCain probably could have won legtimately 8 years and who knows how it would have turned out. I will tell you one thing that would be different, the democrats wouldn't have had such a cake walk this time. You almost have to feel bad for whoever was stuck running as the GOP candidate during this election. Being a fairly liberal person, it pains me to say that ConcernedTexan has some valid points. Barak is the best person I have seen at pumping people up with grand ideology, but the plans for change are fuzzy at best. With their votes this time Americans said, "we don't care about details, just heal us and show us we can be great again." I completely understand that feeling and hope Barack is a fantastic president, I just hope he didn't set himself up to fail.

Is it just me, or has any other normal American noticed that Obama "promises for change" lacks any actual plans on how and what changes he is planning. They seem to me to be very ambiguous, no substance or real plan on what he has in mind as "changes". I am afraid that we are going to see changes alright but they won't be changes we are going to like and be happy with.

Obama begin with ACORN by funneling millions into their organization. He then trained ACORN to stage protests in banks to force them to issue risky loans or they would be threatened to face racial charges. ACORN was trained to intimidate financial institutions into giving ???Ninja??? loans to people with NO assets, NO job and NO income, who couldn???t afford these loans.

That caused the housing bubble two years ago it was by ACORN's actions they were able to destroy our credit system.

As this played out, D-Barney Frank and D-Chris Dodd were able to cover up the millions of improvident loans to these bad risky house buyers. And Barney Frank and his chums successfully were able to block all of President Bush's attempts to put a rein on this problem.

So Fannie & Freddie was forced to purchase all these failed subprime mortgages.

Then both Frank and Dodd denied that there were any problems, and refused the Bush Admin. requests to set up a regulatory agency to watch over Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and they were still pushing for these agencies to go even further in promoting sub-prime mortgage loans almost up to the 'minute they failed'.

Democrats then blamed Bush saying it happened on his watch knowing it would hurt the Republican Party in the election setting it up that Barack Obama could use this to his advantage.

Obama-Farrakhan Ties Are Close, Ex-Farrakhan Aide Says

A former top deputy to Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan tells Newsmax that Barack Obama???s ties to the black nationalist movement in Chicago run deep, and that for many years the two men have had ???an open line between them??? to discuss policy and strategy, either directly or through intermediaries.

If you offer $12 an hour in a town that requires a $15 base wage, and that job you offer does not include health, the people who take the job actually lose money. And if the apartment you can get with the low wages is so crummy you live with parolees galor, or a dope infested community, you jepordize your life and welfare almost every hour of the day that you are home. This story goes on, and on, and on. It is stupied to pretend we don't know what the whole story is.

It is a political problem we have solved with illegal aliens and it speaks very, very poorly for the United States. I am beginning to suspect we won't ever get over it either.
