I just read on here someone called Jesus a Terrorist... Wow, This world is going to Hell in a handbasket! Now i'm a right wing fanatic cause i believe in the Jesus? everything has to be to extremes with everybody anymore. We have to slander and gossip to feel we've earned our place in this world everyday. I guess what i take from the word, is Jesus loves everybody. Even you Naysayers who will come to know him on that day. He has blessed me in every aspect of my life. Oh wait, i'm just the luckiest guy on earth right? Ya know Darwin spent his whole life trying to prove God didn't exist, and in the end only found FAITH:) haha, the darwin "fanatics" said he just lost his way... I could care less about Obama's past. cause if he gets in office, i'll pray for him too!

Maybe we should have a witch for president! I don't hate Sarah but don't think she is ready either. In '12 or '16 I don't think she has a chance aginst Bobby Jindal or Tim Petwerty (sp?) And on the left it will be Hillary. Hillary will get in there so don't worry. Took Ronnie Regan three tries to win it. :) If Obama wins in '16 it will be Jindal vs Hillary. If McCain wins in '12 you will see the same. Not sure if Obaba can beat Hil in a rematch. Oh, the religion thing? I don't think it matters one way or the other; as long as we don't get a Scientologiet....lol, I have a feeling we'd be taxed more than Sweeden...and you know we all are a bunch of Thatens or however you spell it. :)

The media has been all over Sarah Palin because of her religious beliefs. Never mind that this country was founded by very religious people who even put "In God We Trust" on our currancy. As a Pentecostal, I can confirm that our religion is the fastest growing in the world not just the United States. The media needs to wake up and realize that millions of people can't be wrong. Human beings are hungry for a true relationship with God. They are tired of just going up and shaking a preachers hand and "getting saved" and walking out the door the same way they came in. They are tired of people trying to tell them that they evolved from apes (if that's the case why isn't the forrest full of partial evolved ape men still evolving). God is real, we were created, People can receive the Holy Ghost and speak in tongues just like they did in Acts 2:38. Read the Bible.

How low can you go showing video dipicting Sarah Palin in a moment between herself and her religion! I thought this was America. You don't seem to be nearly as hateful when you describe the preacher Obama followed until it was no longer "politically correct" to do so. Your bias is so telling, but you will see rather quickly when Obama is elected what his "agenda" really is!

Why is it that the media never asks about Obama's religious beliefs. Hummmmmmmmmmmmm.

I don't normally respond to these post but today I could not resist. If you all are so sick of what Newsweek has to say about this then the simpliest thing to do would be stop reading it. I am sure there are some magazines or other news media out there telling you just what you want to hear. I agree that religious beliefs are a private issue and what a person believes in is not a major part of how our government is ran. We already had one religious nut in the Whitehouse and where did that get us. Stop believing in everything you read and start thinking for yourself. I can't believe that there are this many adult minds out there that think so little for themselves and can only feed off of other peoples misinformation and lies. Take the time out and do some research on a website that is nonpartisan (they are out there) and maybe before November 5th you will actully learn something.

Progressives today stand for only their own beliefs and anyone who believes different are to be scorned. Actually I call that backward not progressive. Maybe we should begin referring to them as the backward or limited party. They like to call republicans repiglicans. Progressives think this is being progressive.

This is a typical way that the media contributes to desensitize society on liberal views. That type of attitude run will lead to our own nation's destruction. This is just pathetic of the author of this article. We as conservatives need to get a backbone and stand up for what we believe in at all times, the liberals do.

I beg you to reconsider your account of "what is rarely seen in America churches today" - that is unless you rarely step into one. The scene you describe in Palin???s video is seen over and over again in my church and every Christian Spirit-filled Church across this nation. I am terribly disappointed with White's comment about how "The Assembly of God is more charismatic, very evangelical. Wasilla Bible is a very conservative church and therefore it's comfortable for politicians to be there and be part of it." Jesus was not always comfortable in his work for God to bring truth to this world on the Cross! And nor is the Holy Spirit so shy in changing a heart, and moving us to know God (view of a Christian). I highly doubt that Palin???s attendance of Wasilla Bible has anything to do with leaving because AG is too charismatic or evangelic. Exactly what point are you trying to make, Author? You would have questioned matters of her faith (providing your description of the video) if she had stayed at AG, just the same as you are now questioning her motive for attending WB. It is clear you don???t agree period with the fact she IS a Christian.

Doing drugs is a form of witchcraft, Divination, horoscopes, fortune telling, mediums, Ouija boards etc - aka WITCHCRAFT. It???s in our primetime TV shows and Blockbuster movies! I can hardly understand your reason for this "educated article" being you barely provide information about WHAT witchcraft is considered to be for the uneducated reader, instead of scaring them half to death with your uneducated debate. Christ, by the way MANY times in the Bible cast out demonic spirits from people. Again, a strong belief in Christians and even those who are not- whom have observed the truth of ATLEAST good and evil forces in this world. Funny it is, that even non-Christians see Christ as at least a ???moral teacher???.
I am less frightened by someone who confesses their faith, than someone (like Obama) who does not confess all his true beliefs. It took him MONTHS to say anything AT ALL.

Let me know when any story will be written about Obama's past and present religious beliefs. it will be far more entertaining reading. I haven't read this article and probably never will. If it were positive...it would not have been written.

Why are you addressing Obama's ties to another shady character such as Khalidi and the video NYTimes refuses to release on farewell party Obama went to, participated in praising this PLO supporter and was present during the reading of a poem by a young lady trashing Israel. Why not ask Obama what was his comments on the poem. If he has nothing to hide then he would encourage the NYT to release the video. Why are you writing about issues that are not relevent and not addressing the more important ones such as this video about the president to-be and not of some VP makeover. The american people should be informed and that is your job.

The writer needs to be very careful how they write this story. It is comming off like anti-christian rhetoric. Many of these themes of Palin's Church experiences are mimced around the country. Attacking her and her beliefs, are also attacking the millions that hold similar beliefs. Millions belive that the world will end in the next 10-20 years. This is not a far reaching "crazy" belief. It comes from the Bible, that states that one day the world will end, and it will be like a theif in the night. Also, the Mians predictied that the year 2012 would be a year of destruction and end. So, for Sarah Palin to put all her faith in the saving Grace of The Lord Jesus Christ, is not only comendable, but I believe that it poses for the rest of us to follow her example. You don't have to share her belief, just don't speak poorly about it.

In addition, why are we focusing on Sarah Palin as if it is her running for President? We focus on Obama and his religious beliefs, because he is in the number one spot on the ticket. Why aren't you writing stories about Joe Biden and his religious beliefs? We aren't focusing on McCain's beliefs either! If I didn't know better, I would think this is a race of Obama against Palin! Come on- left-wing media- focus on the correct canidates!
