If we are going to be looking at a candidates religious beliefs you should be reporting all of the candidates and not just one. I would be very interested in knowing what Obama's religious beliefs are and what religion he has been involved in in the past.

I will pray that both you will come to know the King of kings and Lord of lords. And that your efforts to discredit Sarah Palin come to no avail.

Sarah Palen is a standard Bible believing, born again, Spirit filled, Christian, which is what all people should be to be acceptable to the God of creation, through His Son Jesus the Jewish Messiah and the Lord and Savior of mankind. May God's blessing be upon her as she becomes our next Vice President.

Where is her Christian charity as she slanders another human being for merely believing differently than she does?

It's about time this video is up in the news! I've been concerned ever since I saw it. God's Will- it's a cop-out for pretty much everything. This made me extremely sure that this time around, I'm NOT Voting Republican! We already have one nut-job who is Christian in office, we certainly don't need another. Look at the mess we are in(oh, yeah, that is God's Will)!

Some of you Democrats give us Christian Democrats a bad name. We do not all think exactly alike. I am NOT for abortion, that is a moral issue, are you folks aware that because the Doctors would be fined a large amount of money they came up with another way to do the abortion? they give a shot of salt or a drug into the baby (not fetus) and kill it in the womb that way it dies before they remove it, because if any part of it comes out alive they are subject to a fine. This wil always be an issue God forgive. Not an attack on you writer.

You have go to be kidding! (opps, I sound like Biden) - Actually this is such a dull attempt to blast Palin. This video has been around for a while and has been discussed, and no proof that it is "legitimate." Get real. Try some real honest news reporting for a change.

find it very ironic that while many say religion has no place in the political segment that you would attempt to make Governor Palin look like some kind of a religious nut. You can't walk on both sides of the street...meaning - if personal faith is welcome and accepted then balanced discussion should be apart of that forum but if the left leaning media doesn't acknowledge faith as important than don't try to smear a politician's personal convictions about how they choose to worship and grow in their faith.

You have got to be kidding with this article! It amazes me that your "in depth news reporting" gives us Americans this tripe, but refuse to touch the refusal of the LA Time to release the video of Obama making nice with a Palastinean operative.

    • Posted By: benkrapf @ 10/29/2008 10:21:26 AM

Knowing your enemy is good tactics. Diplomacy is a complex process; at least Obama is willing to engage it, as opposed to the GOP born again-neocons like McCain.

      "No preconditions!"

      Ooooohhhh.

Pleadthe1st - Your comment that the authors would have to be atheist or blind is accurate and goes without saying. It's common knowledge that supporters of the Solcialist and Communist ideoligies have historically been atheist.

Why are people so afraid of having someone in the White House who sincerely walks in Christian beliefs? If you don't believe in Christianity, what are you afraid of? True Christians cannot exclude those beliefs from any area of their lives. We can't claim to be a Christian and feel like it is okay to lie under certain circumstances. We can't claim to be a Christian and compromise to try to win the votes of those who live a lifestyle contrary to what God's Word says. I commend Sarah Palin for not backing down from her Christian beliefs. It doesn't matter why she switched churches. Praise God she is at a Christ-centered, Bible-teaching church.

Comment: ...yes, and that would mean that at least 15% of us are not Christian -- protected by the same Constitution that protects your right to be as right-wing, non-tolerant as you so obviously are...

  • Posted By: Pleadthe1st @ 10/29/2008 10:20:39 AM

Read your Bible. If you're an atheisit, stop writting articles about faith. It is obviously a topic to complex for you. Whether you like Palin or not, don't disrespect an entire group of people, an entire denomination, an entire fatih. I feel that every Christian would be affended by this post. You can view the world through whatever perspective you want to, but dont try to cut down those who have a RELATIONSHIP with God. You can make "religion" or practices, but when you speak against someones personal relationshiip with God, you're only doing harm to yourself. Read the Bible-- God still speaks today.

Sarah Scares me...Look at the root of all of the problems in this world today. RELIGOUS FANATICS..see a pattern?

    • Posted By: redwing2 @ 10/29/2008 10:20:17 AM

Christian fanatism is not what's causing the problems in the world today. It is the lack of acceptance that this country was founded on Christian principles that really is the problem. Even Pentacostals are not looking for a Theocracy and truly do believe in the separation of church and state, we just don't believe in the ELIMINATION and RIDICULE of church. I would love to see the same article and 'in-depth study' of the relationship of Obama and his church and pastors. But the oh-so-correct media decided 18 months ago that Barack was the golden boy so that just won't happen will it?

  • Posted By: Workexcellence @ 10/29/2008 10:20:15 AM

Obviously you know nothing of Faith, or the bible. I really wish i had a job where i could just sit and eviserate people everyday for a living, wait, acutally no i don't. Maybe next time you should do a little research yourself, like REAL research. The Truth might just set you free. I think i'll put in my resume into Newsweek...

So does this mean we can start in on Obama and Rev. Wright again?

    • Posted By: benkrapf @ 10/29/2008 10:19:56 AM

If Ayers isn't helping, then neither will Wright. Knock yourself out.

    Retitle this Article:

    Obama And Racism
Video clips of Barack Obama attending Jeremiah Wrights church services have raised questions about his views on Christianity,Racism and government.

Don't hear a whole lot about his Witchery,do we !

And Lisa & Andrew need to do there homework on Religion ,Christianity and Cults.Obviously they have no idea what there talking about ....!

  • Posted By: izme @ 10/29/2008 10:19:30 AM

A better question would be "What are Obama's associations?" The list of radicals keeps growing. When you connect the dots, they keep going back to the Castro brothers and Hugo Chavez. So do we want Hugo Chavez controlling our President? God help us!!

  • Posted By: spoonpulp @ 10/29/2008 10:19:30 AM

Personally I think questioning people's faith is perfectly valid. (Full disclosure: I attend church every Sunday and teach Sunday school.) My personal choice of Church is questioned all the time. I just think it's time we start having a more open dialogue about religion in this country. The whole "that's my faith so it's off limits" thing is so ridiculous. If you believe in something so deeply you should be able to rationally defend it instead of attacking the people for even bringing it up.
