The Neo Nazi movement in the US is in fact the Christian (primarily Protestant evangelical) version of Muslim extremists.

It is merely a byproduct of poorly educated, usually underemployed young people who have been indoctrinated into believing they have some personal relationship with a superior (or even divine) cause.

If you look at the worlds troubles, the root is ALWAYS religious extremists. Be they Zionists and Jihadists both laying claim to a worthless pile of sand, or Christian fascists battling Godless communists, extremists have used their Gods to justify unspeakable crimes. In Africa, Asia, America, no matter where you go, some ignorant child is ready to kill in the name of some nonexistent God.

Just recognize that within their ranks lay some who are not so ignorant. Most of the brightest of the idiots realize they are surrounded by fools who they separate from their money while hiding in the fringes, but we appear to be at a turning point. We have men and women of power in this country trying to manipulate the electorate and our society with their absurd claims to piety, and I for one find them terrifying.

Beware the preachers both at home and abroad, they are dragging us to the brink with their lies. As for you zealots, leave your imaginary Gods in your blood stained temples lest they be seen for the abominations they are.

I would say they most defiantly are not, and this is not because they lack hatred, but because they do not have the power, organization, or capability as Al Qaeda. Fortunately there has been great pressure by ATF and the FBI to minimize these groups over the last few years. I also believe the far left anarchist groups are also hateful, but they too have limited abilities, although they do have more power in numbers. In addition to be fair to all sides, the post by ginmontana is false, there were no threats launched at McCain/Palin rallies, and there has been an equal amount of disdain on the rallies of both sides

The people at Palin/McCain events who yell threats should be aware that those guys hanging around the candidate dressed in suits with earbuds are charged with protection of the President and ALL candidates. Don't be surprised if the people making the threats will have photos and dossiers to be used for future reference and to guide surveillance efforts in the future.

They should all be rounded up and put in camps.

I suppose killing Obama would be an attractive proposition to a Nazi, so we have to worry about it. Al Kaeda would be a fool to attack the first President sympathetic to Palestinian terrorists since Jimmy Carter.

He should never have created such a dire perception in the minds of voters. The government took them over because they are bankrupt. Even with the goverment nationalizing hundreds of billions of dollars in debt the stock market is crashing
the credit markets are frozen and all of us may suffer beyond anything seen in generations
McCain just like Bush " doesn't understand the economy".
That not just my opinion its his own words. Not only does he not understand how to fix it but he does not understand how its been broken.
It is no surprise that he doesn't. The people that make up these securities use quantum mathematical models very few people understand.
Bush and McCain both can take the credit for this mess since they helped deregulate the laws that were protecting us.
Bush's economic advisor Phil Graham wrote the deregulation bill that allowed banks to take huge risks with all of our future.
Now, Phil Graham is the head of McCain's economic policy.He is also McCain's choice for the next secretary of the treasury.
No one in this country can afford for that to happen. The last time Bush met with his economic advisors was in March. He was the last to know somthing was wrong. Phil Graham had the guts to say that we are in a mental recession after he helped create the worst economy meltdown in our lifetime. If you do what you have always done then you will get what you have always got.

So why are the polls even close then ?
