We all know that there are still racists in this country, and there will be until the end of time.. some people are just forever stupid... so let's not waste our time on them they cant be helped. Instead we need to focus our energy on taking advantage of the fact the we as a nation now have a president who is not the same as the ones before him in any way. Let's focus on the fact that this country was built on democracy ..government by the people , for the people... guess what " the people" have changed. 61% of the people who voted for Obama were nonblack. Think about what that means when I say the people have changed. This country no longer hears you, racists... so be quiet or change with us.

it is really sad to seee after all this time we still have people who considers others not the right colour.I just need to say to all these people take a hint God is trying to reach you this was not an ordinary appointment and it was from god wake up and take the next step to teach your children differently so that the trend that was passed on to you is not passed on to them.it is sooo sad!!!!! i feel sorry for you! president Obama is a very intelligent man and the fact that you dont see it is because you are RACIST.

It is frustrating to hear about racial comments I agree, but be careful to not do the same as the past society has done to your race, by criticizing whites. I am tired of hearing about the mistreatment of african americans and being held accountable for it becuase I am white. Did not live in that time period, do not agree with slavery. Hate crimes go both ways in this country. However, race in this issue matters. It is monumental that a black man was elected President of this country. Maybe instead of being pissed about race comments that are being made, you should be excited about the steps african american's have made. I did not vote for Obama, but think it is great that people thought enough of him besides his color to elect him. I am sure there are voters out there who did not vote for Obama becuase of the color of his skin, and I am sure there are voters out there that voted for him solely becuase of his race. And speaking of him being bi-racial, Obama himself has stated that he identifies as a black man rather than white. He labeled himself. That is reality. Stick to the facts.

If you read the descriptions of the people "being considered" according to Newsweek, you read of their expertise in their respective fields. President Obama will obviously want people with a level of higest expertise in his Cabinet. Just because they served before, doesn't mean we aren't going to be refreshed with the change we all want and need. We must remember, President Obama is the leader now, not anyone else these men and woman may have served under. Change is coming!

This is to poster WAABP. I???m wit cha. Let???s forget that history stuff. Take it out of schools and their textbooks. While we???re at it let???s get rid of that holocaust stuff too, it???s gone get over it Jews. Let???s just get rid of all history for the US that way we can???t recall or remember any of it at times like this. Black people move on wit your lives like the Native Americans have done. We killed plenty of them to and treated them just as bad as yall but you don???t hear them crying about anything and you don???t see the media continuously showing their treatment by us. We treated the Hispanics bad to get land from them. We treated the Orientals terrible to help build our railroads. But yall are the only one that continues to bring this stuff up just because we enslaved yall. It???s not like the history books at schools are primarily filled with stuff about us, we gave yall a few chapters. We let chall into our religion. We let chall celebrate our holidays all year round and you still want a entire month dedicated to yourself. Please.
You cannot be serious with what you have posted. If we are both running a 2 mile run and the officials of the race allow you to run a mile before they allow me to start does not make it even/equal because they have simply allowed me to begin the race. They are making sure that I don???t win. Please remember Africans did not make European slavery part of African history; therefore you cannot point the finger at any African American because of slavery. The United States is finally becoming ???united??? relax and take the ride. Is your life that bad because of African Americans? Every month is a European American heritage month in which we celebrate various European holidays, functions, and activities. The only have one month a very cold month I might add. Finally, do you believe you reap what you sow? If not never mind, if so we our on the upside because if everything European Americans have done comes back on them then it???s gonna get a hell of a lot worse.

Research candidates? Where did you get your info on Obama? If anyone researched Obama they would have voted for a goldfish before him. He could tell you all about the change he wants to bring, but what about his associates? Who has as friends and what they are and what they have done. Thats enough to scare a zombie. And yes, I do beleive the country will be more divided now that he is in power.

Obama promised change and less than 24 hours after the election he's tossing around the names of old Clinton cronies for key positions. So our change will be from an administration of ineptitude back to one of folly and corruption. I never believed his song and dance to begin with but this one takes the cake. The more things change...........

Same old same old, Clinton allowed Osama bin Laden go to the extreme. On three different ocasions He did not stop Bin Laden when it was in his power to do so. When the Cole was attacked, nothing. When the Twin towers were attacked the first time, nothing. It was at the end of Clinton's term the deregulations were brought in, and Bush is now being blammed,
Now we see the president elect coming to bloom by bringing more of the Old way, no change, More of the worthless ideals that cost us, the working class, and more of the give away programs, higher taxes, and taking away incentive to further yourself. He is not in office yet, however the conversations going on are like he is there already. Bush may have a lot of blame, but how quickly we forget the dead of 9/11. How quickly we forget the dragging of feet to get into Iraq and find the "weapons of mass destruction" The whole congress, including those who voted for it before they voted against it. Race is not the issue anylonger, our future is and we need to pray for wisdom, and right conclusions to be had. We are in for the same old stuff. "We need change" has been the cry of every poltician since I can remember, and I have voted in several Presidential elections from Nixon to present. No changes have been made that really made a difference to me.
There is an old saying give a man a fish and he will have food for a day, teach a man to fish and he will always have food. We have taught people to work in the great nation, now it is time to take away the give aways, and get them to work.

The MAIN job of a President is to keep us SAFE. Without being safe and being alive, nothing else matters. Say whatever you want about President Bush, he performed his main responsiblity. Talk to me at the end of Obama's term and if we have been safe, then I will let you know what kind of president he was.
