Obama promised change and it didnt take five minutes for his team to start throwing around old Clinton cronies for key positions. I never believed his song and dance to begin with, but this takes the cake. The more things change.................

tck210, Obama is being intelligent in surrounding himself with men of more experience and knowledge. Would it be better to have a Washington full of naive newcomers to advice him? What good what that do?

I am amazed to see so much hatred and racisms still in this country, if you would have had a blind fold over your eyes during this whole election you would have not even know who was what, none of us can say whether things will be the same or not or if there will be change, but we all have to have faith and hope for the best for all Americans because an negative attitude will get us no were. Don???t you get it we are all in this together whether we like it or not and just like we have given all the presidents in the past a chance Barak also deserves his chance and all we can do as Americans is stand untied and support him and hope for the best because no one knows what the futures holds for us. We are the people of the UNITED STATES and United we shall stand. God Bless you all and may you be at peace we need try to get our country out of the hole it is in together as a team because one man or woman cant do it on there own.

I cant beleive beleive Obama appointed Corzine Secretary of Treasury.I am from New Jersey and had to leave the state because of what is going on there. People are leaving left and right because they cant afford to live there anymore. It's a real same I cant stay in the state I born and raised in. He just messed up that State so bad. If you are from New Jersey you know what I'm talking about, If you are not you will soon find out.
Also, Why do Black children "NEED" Obama to look up to as a role model now because he is the Prisident? That isnt saying to much for the parents of these children teaching them right and wrong. Did any say OH now our white children have a role model to look up to in past prsidents?

Because Bush is an idiot. His approval ratings are the lowest any president has EVER had. Even McCain's advisors admit he should have tried to distance himself more from Bush. Say whatever you want but even the experts agree.

...and wait. Why was he "elected because he was black"??? You think it had NOTHING to do with the state of the economy? Look at the polls and why people chose him. He got an overwhelming amount of the white male vote. He got an overwhelming amount of votes from people who did NOT like the fact that he is HALF black. People voted for him because of what he wants to bring to the table, because he still has hope for this country and because of his policies and plans to help reshape the USA. It's ignorant people like you who think he got in only because he was black. McCain ran a horrible campaign and picked an idiot for a running mate. He changed his position 50 times and turned to bashing to pick up votes. It didn't work and he lost. This is not a race thing...not for the vast majority of the country anyway but maybe for shallow minded people like yourself.
