I do not believe the Clintons should have any more public offices! The people have spoken, if they wanted Hillary Clinton, she would have got the Democratic nomination. Bill Clinton made a mockery of the Oval Office with his little "cigar". Enough is enough!

That would diffintely have to be addressed as US citizens travel country wide and world wide - but any program offered would have to be tweeked - no one ever gets it right the first time - point is, this system isn't working either

She was the fashion model ....I forgot she wanted to be Vice President...Yeah right. From my reading and understanding you have no clue what this world has just experience. I am not looking at Obama's skin color, because we have only had white man in the white house, so why look at color now. I look for Obama to do his best with a job that he has to walk in already split apart. That's what we should be looking for togetherness in stead of thowing stone and knocking yourself out.

There is a separation between church and state in this country. The evangelical right needs to learn the virtue of tolerance. Go Obama!

i agree 100% percent with a sad american... my grandfather came from Russia, just before the communist closed off all access to anf from... He told me that when he came to America he became an American and HE changed, not have the whole friggen Country change for him... All this crap about the melting pot.. My grandfather was not an illegal he came thru Ellis Island as many thousands did, not speaking one word of English.. He took classes to learn the language and then took more classes to learn a trade.. That was the American Dream! Now the American Dream is to come to America to get fee education, housing, health care.. ..

Aprilloveall, lket's wait and see what he can do for this country, personally I think like most its human nature, some times things come your way and some times they don't, but be honest with yourself: most of the voters that for Obama just did it because he is a new fresh face that snowed every one to believe that he is the savior of all things in this country and for you to sit and say that you are a black woman, you ought to be ashame to show the anger and hipocrism to other writers and not have the respect to see things as for what they are, then you are part of the group that voted for Obama just because he is a Black American and not for his intellegence nor experience that he dosent posses, you might just gave it to the first joe on the corner just because of the Historic Moment to see this come to past. Obama is no one special, he is just a man people can you see and his followers are acting like he is the great mesiah and all are going to regret the so called Historic Night of November Fourth 2008, he will not fix anything just like any other President that has taken the Oval Office and have turned it to a circus and have screwed all of us and you too are included so do you think that Obama is going to perform miracles and bring America Back from the dead and heel those who are dying of world disiease, and terminate hunger, I think not it is obsered to even think of this man as the hope and deliverence of the economy, please wake up and see reality, the reality is that the economy will not be fixed over night and he will tell you this now that he has the helm and will give an alloted time of eight to twelve years. He is begining to plant the seed for his second term. I am saying he is not there to fix things but to have made history and take over the country's high position and use it for his best interests. this is just my opinion and I do respect everyones opinion, but April before you speak see what Obama Followers were saying about the emcumbants that lost, so please save all of the joy, the first 180 days this man will really show his true colors and what a snow job he did to you all that brought him to power, Question if you say that he is ready to lead this country, then why is it he did not go to his natal country Kenya and try to help those that are in real need to prove to us that he can make a difference here. I hope that we don't live to see and regret that so called historic night. Just his name sound like he is a sleeping cell "Barak Hussein Obama" Could he be the anti-christ? LOL

Amen! I am a white woman who also voted for Mr.Obama. Watching it all on t.v. brought tears to my eyes.What a beautiful sight to see people of all races brought together. He deserves to be president ,he won the election, & also the popular vote! The hateful comments make me sick! I would like to see Hillary get some position.

I think it is sad that people are focusing on the color of his skin...people have overlooked his associations and his lack of experience. We can only pray that the good Lord guides him because he will need that guidance, especially working with Pelosi and the rogues in Congress. AND, I AM AN EDUCATED WOMAN - I just don't fall for the velvet-tongued speeces. It is sad that most people are concentrating on making a statement about race.

I think you are confusing "not smiling" with dignity, pride, humility, and the realization that he now has so much to do to help our country....combined with the lost of his beloved grandmother. No wonder the US is in the mess it is with so many negative people waiting to pick on the other person.
GIVE THE MAN A CHANCE!!! If our lives even somewhat improve while he is in office, I will be out knocking on doors asking for votes for another 4 years!
