I for one will be glad when this is all over. The sleaze the Democrat party is using to try to grab power is sickening.
VOTING FOR A DEMOCRAT IS GAY
DON'T BE GAY

and the sleaze that McFossil and Caribou Barbie are isn't?
Palin is a joke!
I just hope that the Democrats in Georgia get out and vote the NO GOD BAS---d Saxbe Chambliss out. I live in Colorado and the thought of what they did to Max Cleland still makes me SICK.. Also if Obama Wins , maybe we can shut Big Mouths ,Limbaugh, Hannity Coulter up.
Ludwig, I know what you me. What the did to Cleland is beyond belief. I live in Colorad, too. Hope you join me and lots of others till there is no more to do-for this year, at least. As for Coulter, Limbaugh and the rest, I want to wake up Wednesday morning to hear and watch all the finger pointing I hope will be going on in that entire crowd. By the way, what's wrong with "Gay"? I spent a good deal of time volunteering for an openly Gay candidate for the House of Representatives (he's the overwhelming favorite to win), even went canvassing door to door with him. I had a very positive feeling about him the first time we met: he bacame a multi-millionaire at a very young age and has give back big time, especially in the area of education. I love his idealism and fresh ideas. Not only that I did not "catch" homosexuality. My Huband and I are still married and he and my husband kind of "hit it off, though he did not acquire gayness either.
Why would we want to shut Linbaugh and Hannity up? That'll be real entertainment if Obama wins!
corn is just another invented issue.
All the group does is register new voters . They pay people 8 bucks a hour a help people
fill out registration forms and then turn them in. By law they are required to turn in ballots people fill out that dont seem credible. But they seperate them from the normal ballots and inform election officials when they turn them in. As a example If somone fills out a ballot that says donald duck they still have to turn that ballot in , but since there really is no donald duck and no one to show up and vote with a id that matches that registration on election day . It will have zero effect on anything and all this is is a waste time
Also all ballots acorn marks as fishy are also investigated and checked against state records to make sure they are real people if not they are thrown out.
Its has no effect because no one can vote without proper ID
So unless the gop thinks there are imaginary people to go along with with throw away ballots then
lets move on to something that matters like the fact we are going in to the next great depression,
and that mccain says he doesnt understand the economy
How about we talk about the war, the national debt <11 trillion>, The housing market, the job market, health care, global warming.
Are things so great we need to invent issues like acorn ?
or is it the gop has no answers to the mess they have created in the last 8 years?
Let talk about things that will improve our lifes and not something no one cares about.
And lets throw out the poeple that created this mess
they dont deserve a chance to make things worse
Please vote early election day will be a mess
Whereas, some will still face the heartbreak of Maverick Personality Disorder:

My husband will certainly be glad to have his wife back. I made this tear my "political year" big time this year, though I ahve bee somewhat active in the past. I was just so upset with the way the last eight years have gone that I couldn't let it go, and won't until there is no more to do. But I ahve made plans for my "withdrawal". while volunteering I met a lot of interesting people, one of whom is a retires archaeologist. I asked him about doing something I've always wanted to do: go an a "dig" He gave me a bunch of info on where I could go to volunteer and be trained for it. I am disabled, but ironically, by being onSocial Security and getting Medicare, I can afford the on-going treatments I get to remain fairly active, though I am not allowed to "work" for a paycheck. So I am choosing the volunteer route just to make myself useful. I'm sure getting to go on a dig won't be the only thing I do next year. A lot depends on who gets elected, I guess, and whether or not things go on as they have been.
I know exactly how the Hallams feel. I watch MSNBC and CNN in the moring before work and from five to nine in the evening and most of the times, even later. I have to check websites such as this one during the day to know what is going on. My husband complains but he knows I have to know what is going on. I feel as if I have to anticpate any problems for Obama and help him out mentally. I talk to the reporters, answer questions they ask those they are interviewing and I really, really wish I could be a quest and give a common sense regular person's view. I give Chris, Keith and Rachael high-fives during their show, and love Jack on CNN. I'm totally addicted and I'll have to get back to regular life when the election is over!
Cute article! I am having pre-withdrawl symptoms already. I'm going to cry after tuesday.
I figured you would have withdraws. By the way we have something in common. We both love cats!
I know exactly how Hallam feels. I watch MSNBC and CNN in the morning before work. I watch MSNBC from five until nine in the evening. I switch back and forth from MSNBC to CNN. My husband and the rest of the family knows I am totally addicted to this election. I have to check websites during the day to see what is happening in the news. It's like I have to anticpate any problems for Obama and mentally help him out. I talk to the people who are being interviewed on the stations, I answer questions for the person being interviewed and give Chris, Keith and Racheal of MSNBC high-fives for their take on the stories! I wish I was there on the set so I can give a common sense regular person's view. I do believe that if it had been Hillary instead of Obama, I would have been just as "dedicated" to this election because of the last eight years!
I have been following this pretty closely, mostly thru the internet very little TV coverage. I like to find my own information, not having it read to me by a talking head, that being said...Tuesday, it ends, like the end of a horrible thudnerstorm, the birds will begin to sing again, the wind will gently rustle the fallen leaves. Then the new news cycle begins, covering the transition from GWB to the new administration, then in January, the new campaigns start for mid-terms. But we get the break on Tuesday when noone is allowed to campaign!
I believe Barry's campaign is organizing mass circle jerks.....LOL!!!
All you FOX news fans should be thrilled! After Obama wins, O'Reilly will have 4 years to work himself into a self-righteous tizzy every single night. Great television!
I, too, watch the campaign coverage in the morning before work and again in the evening when I get home. I'll need that break for awhile but will get back into it again. I couldn't believe Palin this morning during a Rally in PA. My mouth fell open with the twists and the out and out lying of what Obama's plan is. If the Repubs at these rallies would also attend Obama rallies they would clearly see that she is lying. I don't know how she can get away with it. McCain, either.
Obama/Biden 2008
It will be interesting to see O' Reilly asphyxiate himself on his own rage if Obama takes it.
That would be hilarious! I hate that d___!
this perfectly describes my election life, I feel like I will be breaking up with this years polls, cable news outlets and blogs, oh sure I can watch and read them again, but it just won't be the same....I going to miss the relationships I've formed esp. Mr. Matthews, Mr. Olberman, and Ms. Maddow!!
Rest Easy Friend. Keith and Chris will still be on. The Morons on the Right will attack Obama even while he is trying to do good. Keith and Rachel will be used to combat them.
I hope it means that Palin goes back to Alaska...
What a joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not me. I'm ready to have this entire race end. It has been going on for nearly two years and I just want it to end! No more constant talking of who is winning what. No more polls. No more 'this' or 'that.' It'll be like breathing in a good dose of fresh air after November 4th.
Hi, My name is SEBS and I am a political junkie. Crowd: "HI SEBS!"
I can't believe I'm not the only nutjob fixated on this election...I'm an XM subscriber so I have CNN on all day long at work. Throughout the day I'll visit Kos, Politico, Huffingtonpost, Rasmussen, CNN, MSNBC, and Newsvine. I then check BBC to see what kind of coverage we're getting in Europe. Then I'll go through the online newspapers: National Journal, NYTimes, Washington Post, LA Times, USA TOday...until I leave work. On my drive home it's NPR or Sean Hannity (depends how I'm feeling). Once home, CNN or MSNBC plays in the background until my huband comes home at 11 PM and gives me the "eye roll". Before bed, I check my RSS feeds and I do it all again in the morning....
I need serious intervention! Anyone interested in starting a support group with me?
SEBS - just get involved whereever you can - start a group based on something you feel passionately about anf this will help fill the "void"
ME .I thought I was the only one glad for thecompany
Well, McCain and Palin are going to cheat PA and MO so 3 months from now, there will be more election news.
If only McCain would go erratic again and postpone the campaign. And Obama and Congress go nuts too and agree.. impossible!
Whatever will the Obama obsessed media do?
He'll be in the WH for 8 years, so that won't be a problem.
I wonder what my sixteen year old will do after the election? Always at the local campaign office, making phone calls, etc! It's amazing! Maybe run for local office at age 18?
withdrawl is an understatement
