Counting On Wal-Mart Women

Everyone better start thinking. Everyone better start remembering. We got attacked on September 11, 2001 and surely we can remember how many Manhattan shoppers were killed on that fateful day. Have we been attacked since? Our economy was fine until the Democrats got control of Congress. You think there won't be attacks on our country when we elect one of the terrorists' own. Wake up, America, this country needs ethics reform more than any other reform. Read Revelations. Read Obama's stand of ethical issues. I am not professing to be saved and admit with all honesty I could live my life better BUT you cannot be a bible-believing Christian and vote Obama. If you have something against John McCain then stay home.

To all of the conservatives out there who think that Obama is a flaming liberal, I would like to remind you of what he did when he was elected President of the Harvard Law Review. The Law Review President gets to name ten individuals to write articles for the Review, and these ten people get to control the content of the publication. All of the minorities and the liberals thought they finally had it made, that Obama would appoint ten left wing editors. Instead, Obama appointed three conservatives, three liberals and four moderates. That year the Law Review was critically acclaimed as the best run and best written Harvard publication in decades.

So when he wins in November, conservatives don't have to freak out. Obama is a centrist and will appoint a balanced cabinet full of active people who will really get things done. Kind of like the way our multi-cultural society is supposed to be. And exactly what we need in this time of economic crisis.

Obama-Farrakhan Ties Are Close, Ex-Farrakhan Aide Says

A former top deputy to Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan tells Newsmax that Barack Obama???s ties to the black nationalist movement in Chicago run deep, and that for many years the two men have had ???an open line between them??? to discuss policy and strategy, either directly or through intermediaries.

???Remember that for years, if you were a politician in Chicago, you had to have some type of relationship with Louis Farrakhan. You had to. White broke with the group in 1995 and is now a professor of African-American history at the University of Central Florida in Orlando.

???Even though Chicago is the third-largest city in the country, within the black community, the political and militant nationalist community is very small. So it wouldn???t be uncommon for [Obama and Farrakhan] to show up at events together, or at least be there and communicate with each other,??? White told Newsmax.
The Anti-Defamation League has denounced Farrakhan and his Nation of Islam as a ???hate group.???
Farrakhan has called Jews ???bloodsuckers,??? ???satanic??? and accused them of running the slave trade. He has labeled gays as ???degenerates.??? In a 2006 speech, the ADL again condemned Farrakhan when he said: ???These false Jews promote the filth of Hollywood that is seeding the American people and the people of the world and bringing you down in moral strength. ??? It's the wicked Jews the false Jews that are promoting lesbianism, homosexuality. It's wicked Jews, false Jews that make it a crime for you to preach the word of God, then they call you homophobic!"

Would that be those of us who work there, or those of us who shop there?

I'm a woman with a college degree who makes less than $60,000/yr. I don't work at Wal-mart, but I sure do shop there.

The republican party has nothing for me. Hopefully, soon they won't have anything for anyone else, either.

Obama in this video, addressing his community activist work and his work representing ACORN in litigation against the banks and relating to the Community Reinvestment Act, and addressing the failure of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae as those actions relate to the destruction of our economy by causing the current real estate and subsequent financial crisis, states that, and I quote:

"Subprime lending started out as a good idea, helping Americans buy homes who previously could not afford to. Financial institutions created new financial instruments that could securitize these loans, slice them into finer and finer risk categories, and spread them out among investors and around the country, as well as around the world. In theory, this should have allowed mortgage lending to be less risky, and more diversified."

Acknowledging the catastrophe, but as apologist for the Democrats, Obama then offers this justification.

"The original idea was a good one, which was, lets see if we can distribute risk more broadly, and make it easier to provide loans to people who otherwise might not be able to get one."

The problem with Obama is a simple one. One association does not a radical make. But in Obama's case, the list of left-wing radical mentors and associates is seemingly endless, (Davis, Ayers, Wright, Khalidi , etc., etc.) with a new revelation practically every day. With that, a picture begins to emerge, and that picture is that Obama is as steeped, not in just left-wing political thought, but in radical left-wing and race ideology, to the same extent that Pat Robertson was steeped in the ideology of the radical Religious Right. I would not have voted for Pat Robertson for dog catcher, and for similar reasons, I will not vote for Obama.

I toltally agree with the last paragraph statement. The only reasons that Obama will win this election is due to the media and how they portray him as a poster child and all of the young voters who have never voted before and probably couldn't tell you what a democrat or a republican are, they are voting for what the media and celebrities are saying is popular. So sad.

Obama is telling us in no uncertain terms that he is going to take some of our money and give it to someone else - income redistribution. This is socialism a la Ayers, etc. And we all know, based on history, that the absolute worst thing to do during a recession is raise taxes - but this what he intends to do.

You can place much of the current economic problems on the Democratically-controlled Congress, but for some reason, they are getting a pass. And now we're getting ready to vote to elect the most liberal presidential ticket ever: God help us. Would be great if many overlooked Obamas color and voted based on his track record (which is very slim and consists of sponsoring no substantial legislation).

Walmart women voting for McCain. Who put us shopping at Walmart? And I have a college degree. Dumb article. Sorry, Im not privileged like S. Palin with her $150,000 high-end retail clothes.

How can the GOP save itself?

Simple.

Stop pandering to the extreme right. Get BACK to the CENTER where it belongs. STOP the nastiness that's become the norm for the party in elections. People are sick and tired of it. It's sickening

I wonder what would have happened if McCain was allowed to run his campaign as he actually is, not the way the RNC thinks he should be? He did try, the opponents were very repectful to one another (McCain saying people had nothing to fear in an Obama presidency). Voted democrat my whole life and if it were not for Obama, I would have cast my first Republican vote in 20yrs.

I've seen MANY Obama/Biden bumper stickers at Walmart. And this is in a rural area.

Well Obama can have Eleanor Clift and all the upity, collegiate, constipated, beta cappas he wants. Walmart women will bring it for McCain/Palin, our votes count just the same and I would guess that there are more of us.
