This will be my second time voting for the Democratic Presidential candidate. Up until the 2nd Bush term I mainly supported the Republican candidates. My wife of 15 years has always been a Democrat. In the years before we agreed, we just agreed to disagree and went on.

It was after we invaded Iraq the 2nd time that I began to question many of my positions on the issues. I concluded that I did not want to give up my rights for security, I do not believe in attacking other countries that we Think might want to do us harm; but the main issue for me is this: How are we treating our most vulnerable citizens? I don't like the truthful answer to that question.

Mr. Obama, I have a lot of faith in you. We can???t solve all of our problems quickly or without some personal sacrifice, but I believe that your heart, and more importantly your head, is in the right place. My family and I are behind you.

The bias of the mainstream media in this election will lead to terrible consequences. They have played a major part in Obama's success in the Democratic nomination and general election, and have totally alienated a major segment of the American public. Go after 'Joe the Plumber,' make Palin a joke, go after Hillary and her pantsuits, position any opposition to Obama as racist, go after free speech with the Fairness Doctrine, enjoy your victory. - but know you sold out journalism and its former respect from people of the middle, and this will have serious consequences. This isn't about the GOP, this is about you.

The Republicans put far too much faith in Palin. If McCain had picked anyone else but her, he would be 15 points ahead in the polls. She is a drag on the ticket and most likely will sink his presidency.
