The Whoppers of 2008—The Sequel

The only Whopper being told in this election is that Obama is qualified to be our President, With help from the media (just like the title of this story) showing one sided headlines and only good about Obama and hiding any negative news about Obama, the media has been guiding Americans to vote the way they want you to. The media has rafused to give all the news good and bad for both candidates in equal time. The media and Obama assume most Americans are morons and need to be guided to vote for the party they think you should vote for and that you can't be trusted with the facts as you would not vote for who they endorse. I am so disgusted with the way most media outlets reported one sided stories to pump up the party they wanted you to vote for. Obama is not qualified (Jos Biden has said that) and did know and work with Bill Ayers ( a terrorist) and he did sit and listen to Reverend Wright say "God Damn America" for 20 years. And when is the last time you heard a Democrat say "I Love America" or that we are a "Great Nation" OR "Great Country" ? Why is it that I hear those words from John McCain and most Republican Candidates most of the time ? Democrats have a real hard time saying those words, they seem to want us to be like France and Europe. I want to stay American . McCain is an honest American Loving man who will do what is best for this country and has a record to prove it (Obama does not).

Mccain doesn't disort Obama's tax plan, Obama distorts it. He wants us to believe that he's going to ADD a trillion in more spending, but not raise our taxes, and pretends that his intent to let the Bush tax cuts lapse doesn't equal a tax increase. (duh)
Furthermore, Obama's connections to former Weatherman Bill Ayers and the community group ACORN are well documented, as well as his relationship to rabidly racist/anti American Rev. Wright, and numerous other Anti-American or otherwise subversive radicals.
Obama also continues to decieve only the most dense of voters about his Marxist ideologies by using PC language such as "Economic Justice" and "spreading the wealth."

Calipauthy, you make a valid point. My personal toils are what led to my opinion. As a small business owner, I did see a mild tax decrease. That is not what my opinion is referring to, as it seems both candidates will have similliar taxation policies despite what the media says. I am disapointed with the overall run of the country under the Bush adminstration. Foreign policy as well as domestic. We are always going to pay taxes so the politicians can get rich and bail out the banks. Then we can borrow some of our own money back and pay the banks for it as well. I did my research and made my decision based on that along with my opinion of the current administration compared to that of the last administration.

I don't need made up stories to decide who to vote for.
I only need facts Facts I can't ignore. #1 Obama won't show his birth certificate. #2 Obama won't
show his medical records. #3 Obama won't show his college grades or application #4 Obama and
his campaign won't use basic security to prevent illegal contributions into his campaign Why should
anyone vote for someone who won't show so much about himself?

At the end of the day, I rely on no one else???s research. I rely on common sense and self reliance, which most of us no longer have. It doesn't take a dummy or to read someone else???s research to determine, that since Bush (the republican) has been in office, our economy has changed. Commonly, I have not been happy with the way the last 8 years have been presidentially ruined by Bush, and others feel the same way. Joe the plumber and other???s who do make over a quarter of a million dollars, who are crying about their taxes being deducted are selfish, greedy, and, I rather (BLEEP). This is the reason befriended by war and terrorism. This is the reason other countries despise us, because we have become selfish, cocky, and un-bearing in our own ways. So, here is to CHANGE! In some of Obamas speeches where he has talked about white poeple can you imagine if McCain had given the same speech and said Black people in the same way. What is a white people anyway? Most Americans are part Native American, part Italian, part German, part French, part Italian or a mixture of everything including black or Asian by now. Just the fact that he singled out "White People" makes Obama a Bigot (a person who is utterly intolerant of any differing creed, belief, or opinion".

Gotta love how "factcheck" glosses over B. Hussein's affiliation with Ayers. All you liberals can try to justify his relations to Wright, Rezco, Ayers and the like all you want. Any of you with a soul knows deep down that this troubles you, but your so full of buyer's remorse for selecting B. Hussein as your nominee that you're embarassed to admit it. If you truly believe in the Democrats platform, I can respect that. I may not agree with the platform, but I can accept an honest, difference of opinion. You're going to control the Senate and the House, so do the smart thing on Tuesday and pull the lever for McCain. You'll still have your platform represented in both houses of Congress, but you will at least not have been responsible for putting a man with such questionable affiliations in the past into the most honorable seat in the world. How many of you would actually sit in a church for 20 years with that much hate coming from the Reverend? How many of you would actually have your family over to dinner with an American terrorist? How many of you if in the position would give your friends kickbacks totaling millions and then have in laundried back to you in the form of a cushy real estate deal? I'm not asking you to stop being Democrats, or even to stop voting for Democrats for any other office, just listen to what your little voice is telling you about B. Hussein. I trust you will do the right thing.

Arnold Schwarznegger says McCain is the best candidate, but then I look at Arnold's success to balance has budget in California noting that his deficit is ten (10) Billion dollars. They through the last governor our on his but when his deficit was a heck of a lot less than Arnold. I think Arnold's brain is finally getting flooded with steroids.

I think it should be a law that everyone has to vote. People fought for the right to do so and now so many claim that is thier right not to. These may be the same people standing outside at rallies holding anti Bush, Obama, or McCain signs. Many will claim that this would be another occasion of big brother controlling us but i disagree. The people who are being elected are the ones who make the decisions that affect all of us so shouldnt we be required to decide who that may be? I dont care if you are a democrat or a republican or any other affiliation, unless you vote you are not entitled to an opinion.

I have been looking through the comments here and have discovered that all of us are squabbling like kids on a playground. We are educated adults who should be able to look at the issues on the table and leave personal bias out of it. Alas, but for a perfect world... Seriously folks, does anyone really think any major political party would put their reputation on the line by nominating someone who legally can not become president? As far as religious values, all of the major religions in the world believe in the same "golden rule" -Treat others as you want to be treated. It is the one's who twist things to their own benefit who change what a religion from good to not so good. Look at the Spanish Inquisition, the Salem witch trials(and they were based upon fear, and ergot contaminated rye flour.) . The zealots in any situation who base their decisions on fear not fact. That is what is happening here. Ok, no one ever said getting a Black man or a woman elected would be easy. Just about everyone probably figured te consequences of such an attempt would be for the opposing party to play on the ingrained fears of others. Our biases run deep, anyone you denies this is a liar Why don't we forgo the name calling and look at the issues, like we shoud be doing, and then make our decisions? Can it really be done without insulting other people's intelligence, parentage, gender and religious beliefs?

Why don't Liberals realize that socialist has failed everywhere it has been tried. But somehow you know better. People wake up before it is too late. The Federal Government is NOT your Daddy. Yiks, I can not believe all of the people who are willing to drink the "KoolAid". Wake up people before it's to late. Socialistic policies have never worked before and they won't for you now. McCain has his flaws, no doubt, but the alternative is down right scarey unless you are in the 40% that do not pay taxes.

I disagree with you. The fact that you have a good education does speak for your intelligence. I don't know any dumb people graduating from Harvard or graduating from college for that matter. The fact that you graduated from college says that you have some higher form of intelligence. Even if you had to study hard to get your degree you are smart to some degree. Now if you took 8 years to get a Bachelor's degree, then I would wonder about your intelligence. I agree with you jdctr that being smart does not make you right. It makes you capable of making sound decisions. If Obama wins, he will have advisors for everything that he does. Some of you seem to forget that important fact. Some of the people he has surrounded himself with are Republicans and other veteran Democrats. I don't think those people will steer him wrong.
