As a history major and teacher, I can tell you socialist and communist are not the same thing. But I can also tell you that Obama is neither. When I went to college, we had the National Defense Loan, a government loan at 3% interest. If we taught for five years 1/2 the money was paid back. We were given 10 years to repay the money. Does that sound like socialism or communism? I don't think so. That was in 1964. Do you know who was president? Do you know when the National Defense Loan program started? This is the type of thing that Barack Obama is trying to do for today's students. If they want to go to college, he is offering help in return for their time in their community or the military. I don't think that half the people ever listen to anything that is being said by Obama. If they did, they would understand that the man is for the common man. He is attempting to help the middle class become strong again and attempting to putting a stop to all the wealth going to the top. Listen. Read. Do research. Be informed. As a teacher it distresses me to see so many people who really do not know what is going on in this world. The Republicans have controlled this country so long, that you now believe anything they say. The Republicans are not for the common man.

What are the odds of your children earning over $250,0000? I know individuals within my immediate family with a college education that make six figures that are not where near $250,000. I befieve that every working man and woman and corporation should pay their fair share of tax for the benefits that are provide in this society. That is it. When one of the most wealthies man in this country says that the rich are not paying their fair, I believe it. As an IRS (retired) employee I know what the wealthy are cable of doing to avoid paying their fair share. Including have laws passed to favor them.

They forget to tell you fannie mae sold the mortgage backed securities to wall street. they forget to tell you, fannie mae said get us more subprime mortgages, we'll sell them to banks and insurance companies as AAA investments. They also don't want you to know that the Community Reinvestment Act was a big cause of this as well. Google CRA Google "94 citibank lawsuit" you'll find they were charged with racisium under the CRA, and force to give out subprime loans... After you look up the case file, pay attention to the attorney's. you will find that it was brought in by an attorney named.... Barrack H Obama..... No wonder he didn't help do anything about the bailout.... to many reporters were there, and he may have been questioned about his past he wants to hide. God forbid you would vote for someone based on there past.

So If I agree with the right, I must not be thinking correctly? I have yet to met someone who supports Obama and actually knows what he wants to change. The only thing Obama is changing is what he supports. He says he wants to pull us out of Iraq but asked how soon he replies as soon as Iraq is ready that is the same thing Bush says, yet Obama is about change. Lets vote for someone that has the same beliefs as us. If you believe to in what Obama is for vote for him. But make sure you actually know what he stands for. And with such a short time in Office Nobody can truthfull say that they know what Obama will do. I will vote for the person who I agree with most of the time and I can see their voting record.

You refuse to look up the fact for yourself. every democrat in here spews the media agenda, and never once has a fact to back it up with other than there liberial media source, which is usually an unidentified source. Republicans do a little more than watch the news, they also verify the news to find out if it is fact or not. you can't list a fact or a source and you fail to use your computer to check facts. you can sit there hoping that for once Obama will keep a campaign promise, and give you the money. Hope you can keep your faith, and since your hopes depend on faith, shouldn't you check the records of the person you want to put your faith in?
